Great fan
Instead of having a ceiling fan installed in our bedroom, we decided to buy a Vornado 683 DC fan. We are very happy with it. The DC motor is silent and the only noise is from the airflow if we turn the fan onto its highest setting. Set half-way, the fan creates a breeze to flow over us as we sleep.The adjustment for airflow is a dial, not numbered settings so we can adjust it as we wish. We are delighted with it. A couple of weeks ago our daughter bought the same model fan and she is very happy with it. She also bought a larger fan, the floor model Vornado 660 and she is very happy with it also.
