Pretty good system, while your paying
I managed to reach my goal weight within the agreed 3 month contract and then took on 3 months of the app online to ensure maintenance of my weight. I found that as long as you stick to the program you will lose weight and sticking to the program was pretty easy, for me that is. The only downside is that once you have finished your contract your on your own. No literature or site to continue the smart points tracking and in my opinion it’s a setup for failure and ultimately rejoining in the future to do it all again. Great program WW not so hot on the follow up.

Not For Everyone
I find Weight Watchers too restrictive and too hard to stick to.
I don’t see how people can eat enough from all the food/drink categories, get enough of their nutrients, and still stick to their points.
There’s so much free information available, like the internet and apps where you can work out how much you need to consume to either lose or maintain weight.
So there isn’t much point in paying Weight Watchers for their restrictive method, and having to either look up foods/drinks in their books or type several things in a calculator to work out points.

Valid complaints. The product offering is grossly misleading and deceiving and they never return pho
What a disgrace.
After an initial Three Month Trial, my attempts to have WW stop accessing my Credit Card have been ignored..
They have not responded my communications and continue to bill me for Membership over the last 9 months.
Their product offering is grossly misleading. They have ignored all my approaches and my next step is to lodge a claim at VCAT to address their theft.

y Credit Card would continue to be debited ever month unless I specifically cancelled the arrangement. Accordingly, I lost $100's of dollars before I realised what was going on. Even then numerous requests to cancel my Membership via. The WW Customer Service email were ignored. And forget trying to reach anyone on your phone numbers! WW operates a very misleading and deceptive model and many people are losing lots of money in the process. Iain Carmichael.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

False Advertising
BEWARE... Offer a 50% discount in a add and when you click through you don't get the offer. Spoke to a rep on the phone and she said go and tell ACCC we don't care! Wow how is this!!! Never come across this before. Should be called 'Watch We Scam' and not 'Weight Watches'.

Beware of the contract
I joined weight watchers on line for 3 months. They continued taking money from my account after this time. Apparently this is in the small print. They refused to refund my money even though I did not access any resources or attend any meetings. They were rude. It is hard to cancel as you have to phone and be on hold for extended period. Be careful this is a business, they do not care about you.

Ok -but ...
Not sure if anyone else has this problem but the WW app times out regularly when I use wifi. My average wifi performance is 45-50Mbps which works for all other apps I use on my iPhone 5C. Have reported this several times, having to explain the problem every time. So far I've had 'it's a known problem' to 'your wifi is too slow!' Solution, use mobile data for WW app and try and remember to turn wifi on again afterwards! Very frustrating as the app has some really good features.

Weight Watchers Frozen Meal Creamy Spaghetti & Prawns YUK
After removing 50 pieces of capsicum, there was not a lot left. Weight Watchers Frozen Meal Creamy Spaghetti & Prawns contained 5 prawns and some spaghetti with a runny cream sauce, not tasty at all. And one of the prawns wasn't cleaned properly, you know what I mean. I had a couple of mouthfuls, yuk. Would not recommend, even at half price.

WW- Dodgy Tactics
The dubious practices of Weight Watchers make it very easy to sign up online. They sell you a 3 month minimum plan, and in the small print you'll find that it will automatically role over onto "recurring billing" monthly. On top of that, they bill you that next month two week prior to your current plan expiring. Getting out of their choke hold is so much harder than signing up. You cannot cancel online in the same way that you sign up. You are forced to phone them and sit on hold waiting 20 minutes to talk to a customer service person. And, goo...Read more
d luck finding their phone number well hidden on their website. Notably you cannot prove that you phoned and cancelled. WW's excuse is that they "like to talk to you" before you cancel...so that they can put pressure on you. What if I don't want to talk to them? On the upside, their staff at group meetings are always excellent.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not so good
I bought these on special, thinking they were worth another try. My last experience suggested they were not worth buying. Now, I am sorry to say, I feel even more inclined to say this. The meat content was low, but that was not the main problem - they are cheap after all. The problem is the so-called flavour: the 'Asian' meals just did not provide any flavour that was familiar, just some bitterness and a bit of sweetness. Also, the flavour seemed artificial. It would be just as easy, and tastier, to make a sandwich.

It's the only diet plan that works for me
What I love about WW is that you have a set number of points and you can use them how you wish. There are some days when you just want a chocolate bar and you're allowed to but.....you'll use up a good chunk of your points for the day. WW is the only plan that has worked for me and I think if you haven't lost weight doing it, then you haven't been honest with your food logging. I'm 6ft tall, weighed 90kg at my heaviest and went down to 74kg....purely with WW and daily walking.

Now about $$ only
I've done well with WW in the past but, after rejoining this time found I was being pressured to approve payments by direct debit from my credit card. I will not. So, first they denied me access to the online tools (though I was paying what everyone else was), then they told me I could no longer be a member. So I left, and I will never rejoin.

Weight watchers now only on line
So disappointed in the way WW is going totally on line now. As a long time life member i have seen many positive changes. This is not one. Most ladies in our group don't use on line tools so get nothing now to refer to during the week. The move from 10 week program material to 3 weeks was bad enough, this is disgusting.

Weight Watchers supermarket foods good! ^-+^
All I did was buy the weight watchers foods from coles n woolies. The frozen dinners are all different and intersting while snack bars are light n tasty. It also stops you buying all the crap foods like pies and chocs etc just stick to weight watchers supermarket foods. My fav is spiced plum beef and apple crumble bars for snacks. If buy there products from the supermarket you do not have to sign anything.

Bad experience with WW.
Joined on a 12 month contract. Lost my job and couldn't afford monthly payments as credit card had no money in it due to financial difficulties. Got a letter from WW STATING IF I DONT PAY THE $295 owing within one week it will go to the collection agency. Rang WW they stated the contract can not be cancelled and the money must be paid out to avoid legal action. Then the 12 month contract continues to ' roll over' into a monthly membership of which you have to ring WW again and be placed on hold for an unacceptably long time to cancel your membership. BE VERY CAREFUL PEOPLE! I will never use weight watchers again after this. I should have read the terms and conditions more thoroughly.

Really helps me get control of my eating
I have been a member in WW online for the best part of 10 years. It initially helped me lose approx 15 kgs and I've gone back to it many times to stay or get back on track. As with any of these things you need to make an effort - sometimes I stick to it, sometimes I don't - but I have found it gives me the framework I need to make better choices with my food and be mindful of the portion sizes. with each new release if the iPhone app and reworking of the points system I have seen vast improvements over that time. Tracking on the app could not ...Read more
be easier. If you are a creature of habit like me you can feasibly track your days meals in a handful of taps. Having my weight history over the past decade available in a graph serves as both motivation and a warning, not to mention it's pretty interesting to look back over. The Commununity is really good too. Sometimes when I feel like I'm going to fail or give in to temptation I can just browse everyone's stories and ideas and it's enough to get me motivated or serves as a distraction - I don't personally contribute posts. Great recipe ideas on there too. Would highly recommend.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Read the terms and conditions
Signed up for three month online plan. Completely failed, lost no weight. Counted my losses. Just realised a year later I've been charged $35 every month for a year. So $500 for absolutely nothing. Absolutely gutted and feel totally ripped off. Will never use weight watchers again.

Really disappointed in ww. Be aware of what you agree to!!! Tried cancelling online and will phone tomorrow.

False advertising by weight watches - beware!
Free trial to see how it works. Loaded app not much more information than Fitbit app.
Now locked into a non refundable 6 month plan that should be able to be cancelled due to false advertising. Beware!
