ok,better than my mums westinghouse but not great
my kitchen was renovated at the same time as my mum and dad built a house, we both bought westinghouse ovens. mine freestanding and hers a wall unit. my mums has a constant smell of gas and theyve had to replace a part which make sthe oven not work twice (this cost them a few hundred dollars each time even though the oven is just 5 years old now)

t spins, it gets quiet for some minutes then gets louder for a while. its maddening !this oven has no option to cook without a fan, so there is no easy fix when i bought this oven from the good guys, the wrong kick plate was in the box, the good guys were awesome and home delivered the right one the week later when it came in, i cant praise their customer service enough

Extremely Dangerous! Westinghouse WFG617 slot in stand up gas range cooker
3 weeks old, interior glass broke and blew out glass across my kitchen. Oven on for 20 min at 180.
Also the knobs get extremely hot to the touch.
I’m very concerned and upset that this happened and even more concerned to discover that these are both “known” issues.
We are extremely fortunate that no one was hurt as I was moments away from opening the oven door. I shudder to think what would have happened if I had opened the door when the glass broke. A face full of broken glass?
Not to mention the 2 large roasting pans of food that had to be thrown out that was covered in glass.
Compensation for that would be the minimum I would expect.
How are these issues still happening if they are “known” issues?
I really hope that Westinghouse takes these matters seriously and stops using faulty parts

I was dealing with someone called Kathryn from Electrolux on Monday, she had been working with my Real Estate property Manager ( As I am in a rental property) as well as dealing with the original installer. Danny Impellizzeri 0411 758 775
On Monday we were all under the impression that a replacement oven was ordered, a technician and delivery was all set for yesterday, we were told to wait for a call later on Monday or Tuesday for the delivery time details however, we have heard nothing from Kathryn or anyone for that matter. Numerous voice mail messages were left yesterday with no response? We are all stumped as to what has happened and why no one has been in touch with any of us since Monday?
The number that we were given by Kathryn was 02 9608 7604.
You would be best to contact my real estate property manager Samantha on 0429 453 314 and or Danny the installer.
I took a day off work today to be home for the delivery and installation, this is been a major inconvenience for all involved.
Please let me know what is happening asap

I havent had any problems with the glass door on my oven, I have had it now for over 1 year, but I do agree that the knobs get extremely hot and almost burnt my hands many times I agree you should definately be compensated, I would never purchase another Westing house product,
At least if people are aware of the problems with them and how dangerous they are they will not buy the brand

Hi good day!
Im a white westing house gas range owner, my concern here is is that normal when I'm using my gas oven all the knobs is too hot to handle, and also the temperature of oven is too hot, unfortunately all my baking is not goo it is always over cook.

We have this problem also the knobs get extremely hot also the griller handle gets way too hot when cooking with the oven. The outside of the unit was so hot my cupboard and everthing inside was also heating uo, When I complained a serviceman came out and insulated the whole of the oven which helped a bit,I was not happy with this as I never had this problem with my old oven. hope this helps
