Quiet and well priced
I am extremely pleased with the value and effectiveness of this dishwasher. It is very quiet and always leaves my dishes squeaky clean. Also has an Eco cycle which saves energy and only takes 75 minutes. I recommend this brand to anyone, including restaurants and for private use because of its great value.

Good well priced product
Extremely pleased with our new dishwasher. Very quiet and cleans well. Has not skipped a beat yet. I installed it myself within 30mins and looks good in a modern kitchen. We compared several other big brands but this one was the most affordable with all the functions we needed. A +++

Soooo Quiet!
I love this dishwasher! I spent the first 2 days saying to my husband 'Do you hear that? No, you don't! Because it is so quiet!' It has a 30 minute cycle which I love. And also an Eco cycle which saves energy and Time-Saver cycle which is about 50 minutes.
It cleans beautifully but we tend to rinse our dishes really well and use the 30 minute cycle. Even when the in-laws are visiting and put stuff in without rinsing, it still cleans well. Also I love that the top rack goes up and down so it fits my big plates in. It does seem really roomy, because the bottom is laid out well I guess.

Garbage
Was fine until 2.5 years in we get an F8 message - heating element failure. So now we have to spend upwards of $400 to get the thing fixed which is ridiculous considering it was $700 new so I may as well just buy a new one. Emailed Westinghouse, no response, no craps given. SO, so tired of paying good money for cheaply made garbage that needs to be repaired or replaced in a ridiculously short amount of time! NEVER AGAIN.

So far, so good
Its early days yet as we have only had it a few weeks....
THE GOOD; Works well, much better than our last one. Quiet. The layout allows for much more dishes than our last machine, and the cups have enough lean to avoid the little water pond in the underside. Flexible wash options.
THE BAD; The racks seem a little tinny, however so far nothing has bent or broken.... The bottom rack likes to go off its runners... this can be annoying especially when its full of heavy dishes, but its not a deal breaker... The type of power plug sticks out a ...Read more
bit.... this means I had to modify things to get the dishwasher to sit nicely in its cubby under the counter. CONCLUSION; Would I buy this dishwasher again? Yep, absolutely. For the machine and the price point I'm very happy so far.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Fantastic dishwasher
This Westinghouse dishwasher is amazing. It cleans and dries all the dishes so well. It is so quiet. This is the best dishwasher I have ever used. I am a 70 year old lady and have been doing dishes for many years. This is the fourth dishwasher I have owned. Thank you Westinghouse.

Why do I keep supporting this manufacturer?
Ok... former electrolux dishwasher owner (AKA previous Vulcan Dishlex).. Now I believe Westinghouse owns them anyway but that brand was awesome.
So they got it wrong on this machine on so many levels
! - cheaply built, inclduing a water hose that looks to me like it wont hold too much pressure, my one came with an indent in it like it was squashed from factory. (yes it holds mains water pressure but I think its weak and thin compared to my last machine)
2 - An annoying prressure reduction valve built into the tap fitting which i...Read more
s a real nightmare to get a perfect seal and leaks water when turned off at the tap. (some depressurisation feature) No other machine I owned did that. If you can get it to seal good you need brute force on the fitting. This fitting takes up space and may be an issue if you have limited tap space in your cupboards. I had a nightmare of a time getting it seal. It kept leaking even when tensioned. I finally got it to seal but I turn off my tap when not use as I dont trust it. The fill flow and pressure is reduced, good thing too considering the cheap nature of the fill hose, My old one was more robust.and had a better termination fitting for the tap. 3 A very stupid feature (IMO) where they have added 3 shelves in the machine and sacrificed height at the bottom. Now this means the upper wash arm sprinkler will hit larger plates because of that. I mean are we meant to use tiny plates WH? If I had known that < I would not have bought it at the time. You have to keep the large plates at the extreme outside perimiter of the lower wash basket and hey, watch out if you have too many.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Appalling Customer Service and outcome - especially from Service Manager Victoria
I purchased a Westinghouse dishwasher in September 2017.
Upon receipt and installation of the dishwasher I noticed that the door was not aligned. One side was in more than the other.
Westinghouse then proceeded to try and replace the dishwasher 3 times, so up until now besides having to wait about 20 – 25 minutes every time I called customer service the service has been ok.
Except for the faulty dishwashers that kept being delivered and not checked properly before they left the warehouse and having to be home for the delivery of faulty items.
After trying 4 dishwashers Westinghouse advised that they would not deliver further dishwashers and would not offer me an upgrade.

Looks great but annoying height
I have used this dishwasher for two years now and have never had an issue with the working of the dishwasher, and always cleans my dishes well, is fairly quiet and also looks great with the stainless steel cover. The only annoying thing is the bottom racks don't hold up bowls very well and I have to put the racks down so they are flat to fit some dishes. Other than that I would recommend this.

Great dishwasher super quiet
This is my first dishwasher from this century the old one was let’s just say an antique and sounded like a turbo jet taking off and almost shook the house down. This new Westinghouse has great features like adjustable heights of the racks I love the cultlery tray at the top means I don’t waste space with the cutlery basket and can fit a whole days dishes in one load. Dishes come out perfectly clean every time and I’m mostly using the eco 50 setting. Very quick very quiet and so far very happy with it. Now I just have to get the kids to empty it :)

Lucky I got this dishwasher via gumtree n only 1yo n the previous owner hardly used like brand new (she bought from the good guy in Feb 2017 with 5yrs warranty. The function is very easy to use, used it most of time in fast30 or timesave with aldi 18in 1tablet, 99% clean and very quiet too. This is my first dishwasher in my life n im happy with that so far. Thanks

Super easy to use & clean properly with rinse aid
It is very easy to use, not too noisy & clean really well, however we use the woolworths rinse aid as recommended. Read many people made complaints that it didnt wash properly could be because they never bother with rinse aid. It was on special at good guys last month. Good buy!

Perfect! No faults
This is amazing works amazing, it leaves no trace of food or any trace of marks on my dishes. I use while I’m sleeping, very very quiet. Favourite dishwasher I’ve used count fault at all. Include a space for coffee cups, and a place for falks, knifes spoons and tea spoons. As well as a spot at the top for other utensils. Lots of room

find another product
Whole unit is very flimsy
Door does not align properly even after technician adjusted it
I doubt if the baskets etc will last very long as they are poorly made
My advice is to try another product
If I have to continue to fifty words I will finish with Stay away from this dishwasher

New Dishwasher
Our old dish washer died and with the price of this machine so low it made it cheaper and easier to just replace the old unit with this one. Installation was a breeze, it took all of 5minutes. Machine does a fantastic job, dishes come out great and it's also very easy to use.

F5 how do I fix
1 answer
Mine was 3 years old when it started getting F5 errors only on certain cycles. I guessed it may have been the control board as it was not happening on all cycles. Used it for another year on heavy cycle, before it stopped totally. Decided just to buy another dishwasher . Inlet solenoid could be a cause but mine was fine. Mine would fill and drain out before it started the cycle.
lance b.asked
what parts can cause the F5 error? mine had it constantly on all cycles except the heavy and intense for about 12 months, now its won't work on any cycle. my water inlet solenoid is good.
