If you see this message please do not buy this product. I bought Xiaomi dreame D9 brand new and it stopped working less than 1 month due to front bumper collision issues and cannot be resolved. Avoided Xiaomi Dreame D9 at all cost.

I loved this vacuume and bought 2 others - one for my mother and mother in-law. Unfortunately, 1 is faulty and I have now sent over 20 messages (email, app, facebook messenger) with no steps forward in resolving the issue. For over a month, I've had zero progress. Absolutely disgusting follow up customer service, and I'm forced now to go to Consumer Affairs to seek refund.

Excellent value robot for the specs and quality. However they haven't fixed a big mapping issue since it has released.

The map constantly slides and changes causing it to get stuck during runs, in turn requiring remapping and putting in no go zones. I have to do this around once a month. Which I ifnd annoying.

However, if you can put up with that or don't need no go zone's then it's great value.

The ad pictured their other model with the self emptying robovac. I was really excited for that one as I have a dog that sheds a LOT and needed a product to help me deal with that.

Turns out the ad was for their regular robovac. Which I've now purchased and can't return.

I feel like I've been done over a little bit by this company and honestly couldn't tell you if the one we got is good or not, cause I'm real mad.

The robot works well in cleaning everyday messes. The mopping function is so-so and the navigation is also slightly above average. Where this robot fails is that it constantly corrupts it's maps in the mi home app. You'll have a saved map and suddenly after 50 runs or so the base is located somewhere else, the room is drawn twice and overlaid on-top of the current map and it confuses the bot with no go zones, mop free areas and the base.

I would give this a miss if mapping reliability is a factor. But for the price it's tolerable

I've had several different robot vacuum cleaners but this one by far tops them all! So good on my thick carpet and easy to set up and use! I love it!

I've never even tried the mopping feature since anyone understanding the physics in mopping would realise it's better to use this Vacuum to keep the place clean which means less rubbish being compressed into your floor while walking around the house. We've been doing renovations and this little fella has been doing a fantastic job keeping the place clean. I've got mind programmed to clean around our parrots cage 3 times a day, keeping it spotless and other parts are programmed for once a day cleaning.

Perfect as a vacuum, can not fault it in that aspect.
Mopping feature does not work. It will not move at all once the water tank is attached, it will sit in the same spot struggling to move until it decids to tell say it’s stuck and to return it to the dock. I would have chosen a different brand if I had of known the mopping wouldn’t work.
Although the vacuuming side is a life saver.

Have used it for several months now. Smart floor mapping and location self-awareness. With its stronger suction power, it does the job well. Make my life easier. It seems that it supports two-floor mapping now. But haven't tried it.

Overall this is a brilliant unit. The mapping is very accurate and makes for a very efficient clean. Vacuum bin has decent capacity and suction and does a pretty good job getting close to walls.

Areas for improvement:

If there's absolutely any cables or throw rugs or blind cords on the floor, this robot will find them and will tangle itself in them. Your floor must be perfectly clear. I had grand visions of setting the robot to vacuum the house as I leave, but I haven't once had it successfully do it without it getting tangled on something I...

Is really handy, if you like to come back at home and is clean, nicely vaccum. Is difficult to choose when the brand is not well know around the world . I trust it amd I’m not disappointed

The vacuum is good, has to be baby sat, but I’m home working so that’s fine for me.

Disappointed in the mopping as the water barely comes out even on the highest setting and yes I’ve cleaned the air hole.
I didn’t expect it to be perfect but thought if I was mopping everyday it wouldn’t have to do much. But it leaves all foot prints and won’t clean anything sticky. I go ahead of it and spray the floor to help it out, but it doesn’t make much difference.
It’s ok as a vac and I’m still glad I have it. But wish I got a different one I was looking at that had a better mopping function.

The high suction vacuum is amazing. Great if you have pets. Long battery life easily cleans my entire 4bed 2bath home using only half the battery. Really easy to clean and empty. The mop function isn’t really good at all, But I purchased this for the strong vacuum aspect so i just don’t use the mop. Mapping function of your house on the app is great & easy to use to personalize to your needs. I’m a tech person so only use the app. Unsure how it works without it. Easily navigates from tiles to carpet. Even over rugs. I use mine every day! It’s a game changer in our house. Would recommend this to anyone after a strong vacuum robot. You can’t beat it. In my opinion out performs much more expensive options out there.

Love my new vacuum. For the price, you cant get a better robot vac that mops too. A few things for improvement are the following…. The mop detaches very easily and can happen when it bumps into objects. This leaves the vacuum looking like its mopping, but it actually isn’t as it isn’t connected to the vacuum properly. Also the Mi Home app could do with some improvements in the mapping area. Setting virtual walls/ no clean areas is difficult as you cant zoom in far enough. The same applies to no mop zones. I also don’t like the fact that you are limited on what you can name rooms on the map. Would highly recommend all the same.
