I have been a Chef for the past 15 years, and have quite a collection of knives. The Yaxell Chefs knife has quickly become a favourite of mine. It's a great size, and good weight for the long hours of use, and keeps a good edge with heavy use.

First thing I noticed about the knife was its build quality it is on par with all other Japanese style knifes of its sort. However the price is much more affordable then any of its competitors. The knife is well balanced and comes out of the box with a razor sharp finish on the blade that has not need to be sharpened yet. Ive used it on many tasks in my cafe and it has done them With no problems and has made boring jobs enjoyable again.
