Kings 3.5kva not a problem
I have been running this generator for over 2 years with my motor home
Getting about 14 hours a tank of fuel running a large air con on low
Have run the air con, toaster and jug all at the same time, just to push it turned the microwave on (this was pushing it and shut down) for the price and the reliability would buy another in a hart beat
Sorry to here about the bad experiences
Purchased in March 2021 for A$699.00.

Correction of bad other bad review
Just read review about fellow who didn’t like the generator. He was using it to power a 12vdc camping fridge. The 12vdc outlets on just about all portable generators are only a light duty battery charger, not really a good 12vdc supply.
In reality who buys a 3.5Kva generator just use the auxiliary 12vdc outlet. If that’s what you want plug a heavy duty 12vdc power supply onto the 240vac outlet .
The machines primary perpose is a 240vac generator . The 12vdc is just a small auxiliary circuit.
Purchased in March 2021.

Absolute rubbish
Bought a 3.5 kings generator lasted 3 nights, kept going into oeverload by just running a engel 45 litre fridge, small Tv, in the end the thing would not start, then the cord pulled out!!! Another fellow camper bought the same, same thing happened to him after 8 days, same thing wouldn't run a 12 volt fridge stay away from them absolutely crap!!

Let there be Light!!!!
My Kings 2.2kva works a dream. During Cyclone Debbie and recent storms, this little Gem ran our house (560ltr fridge, 300ltr freezer, 55”plasma, hot / cold water and charged all the phones and tablets for the neighbors. For the price you couldn’t fault it. Going to upgrade to the 3.5kva and still keep the 2.2 to help others.
Cheers

So far so good
I have always been a believer in "you get what you pay for", however I couldn't not buy this generator when the cost was approx 25% of the brand name competitors. I have used the generator for a total of 5 days bush camping at this stage. It runs the air-con and microwave in my caravan without missing a beat.
The unit itself is fairly heavy at approx 40kg with oil and fuel, and has a large foot print. The brake on the wheels is largely ornamental in nature, but aside from that the wheels are functional, and it is easy to move on solid surfac...Read more
es. Noise from the unit is not overly intrusive, but it is noticeably louder than my friends 1KVA Honda. The noise is not offensive to the ear, and we found tolerable even when running for extended periods, I can see in a close camping situation it may aggravate the neighbours. It tends to respond to changes in load quite smoothly when when running in eco mode, and has a noticable "bark" from the exhaust as the revs increase, but it quickly settles back to baseline. The unit cost me $625 delivered vs over $3000 for the major brand name competitors, if it lasts >25% as long as its japanese competitors I will be a happy man. I will update my review later if the situation changes, but at this point in time, it performs as advertised.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Our 2kva generator is 12 months old and hasn't missed a beat til now. We use it to run a portable washing machine, charge the phones and very occasionally light power tools. It will start, run for a few minutes then stop and was showing the overload light. Changed spark plug, fuel filter and used carby clean. Overload light didn't come on, but still stopped after a few minutes
