Same problem belt wanders all over the place digs into the wood
Same problem with the belt sander as Paul3490, no matter what you did adjusting etc the belt kept wandering from side to side and would also dig into the wood leaving gashes of lines. Tried repairing it under warranty but same old problem. Contacted AEG Warranty Department and they were really good and replaced it with their brushless 18V cordless.
Purchased in May 2021 at Bunnings Warehouse for A$499.00.

I won't go on and on about it... The belt wanders all over the place when I'm using it. I adjust the machine so the belt runs nicely and then as soon as I use it the belt starts to wander, sometimes almost coming off the machi...Read more
ne. Sometimes, it just digs into the work piece causing damage. It is really disappointing. I guess I'll have to junk it and buy something else - probably Ozito if they make one. I don't really have the use for a more expensive sander any more, just an occasional job.
