Great drop saw
I have used this saw for over 2yrs now, it's been very good apart from two issues, which can be rectified under warranty, however the process is daunting. The first issue is the laser has gone out of alignment which maybe expected due to odd shocks and movements, and the second is the blade brake, it doesn't always engage and may pose a safety concern. The power, the slide distance and mitre features are sufficient to get any job done. The 6amp batteries from AEG seem to be the most troublesome, so be prepared to return them a couple of times before you get good ones.

I recently purchased one of your promotional saw/stand combos from Bunnings and am extremely happy with the acquisition. One question however? Is there any need for me to devise a stop somewhere on the frame (stand) to relieve gravitational pressure on it when in the folded configuration? I ask as I have a space consideration in my garage/workshop that necessitates that it is collapsed at the end of day. Your thoughts are appreciated. Thank you. My address is [email protected].
