Very happy with it
After buying a dishwasher from Harvey Norman ( Anniston) brand $1100: we were disappointed with its performance and non drying capability,so we took it back, just could not decide what to get as all brands seem to have there problems even the expensive ones, so after seeing the latest Aldi dishwasher for only $299 with a 3 year in-house warranty, figured if it lasts 3 years or dies ( at least it will fill in the space under the sink)
Well what a surprise, It is simple to use, washes perfectly and it comes out dry ( altho we leave the door ajar after it finishes ) ..more than happy with it, time will tell but at that price

Very good Dishwasher
The Aldi Dishwasher cleans the Dishes very well
It is not louder than any other Dishwasher, there are not any favourite features.
It is just a good Dishwasher and I would recommend it to anyone, spezalty for the low price
Thank you Aldi. By the wayI just hope that the Service is as good as the Dishwasher.

l have been very pleased with my dish washer.
Cleans very well, l use the echo mode a lot, just need to open the door after it has finished washing to dry, tip water off top of cups & shake the cultery basket to remove excess water, also take out any plastic items, leave to dry on sink. l use Aldi,s tabs in it & vinegar as a rinse aide. All going great, have had it 3yrs or more. Love it. Great job Aldi,s.

An affordable Stirling Dishwasher
To be honest I am happy with the Dishwasher purchased from Aldis. I am surprised at its quietness and it does clean well with their recommended Cleaning powder. My last dishwasher being an expensive brand did a shorter wash but Stirling has a 4 1/2 water rating.
Holds a 4 piece dinner set quite well so overall no complaints.

Rusty baskets & not washing after 2years
Good price & worked fine first 2 years - now baskets all rusty & doesn’t leave dishes clean - still under Warranty but Tempo don’t return calls & nothing being done about it - I keep ringing & they try to fob me off with “that’s not covered by warranty” then say they will escalate it but I never hear back. It is a bad joke & never again to buy an Aldi appliance

Worst money ever spent
I thought this was awesome for the price I paid which I must admit did work quiet fine for the first year. As for now I'll have to start my machine on 3 different cycles just to have my dishes cleaned even though I rinse them before loading the dishwasher

Like others here it breaks down :-(
Thinking I could save money I tried this machine. It broke down (control arm broke) within 12 months. Once something breaks you are in the nightmare of (a) confirming purchase (ummm is there anywhere other than Aldi you can purchase this machine? I think not!) (b) waiting for parts (c) waiting for service person (d) it breaking down again. I will die before the dishes are actually washed consistently in this machine. Saved $600 over a brand machine? I think not. In retrospect I should have bought a Bosch. My time and months of wasted running around wasn't worth the $600. Should have realised you can take a risk with a cheap mop if breaks down but for any item over $100 at Aldi - be very very wary.

Not a good option
The old adage "I'm not so rich I can afford to buy cheap" really applies here! Unfortunately, handwashing is better than this. The bottom rack keeps coming off track and is more like an exercise machine than something to make life easier. And it doesn't really clean (unless you wash everything first) - which kind of defeats the purpose of having a dishwasher in the first place... Also, drying doesn't seem to be a good option either. All in all, a VERY basic machine and not recommendable.

Better Than Expected
We got this because we knew we would be leaving our old house but it was better than I expected.
Think of it as a completely standard non luxury model that just happens to look quite good too. It's not the best ever but it's good enough. Maybe the quality of the plastics inside could be improved. We had no problems but they looked a bit weaker.
Lets be realistic though, its cheap and the quality is not as good as the top manufacturers but neither is the price charged. It does what its supposed to, cleans and dries the dishes

Value for money..
Purchased in September 09 for $400 from Aldi.. it's been a good dishwasher for 8.5 years. I use the normal wash setting 95% of the time everything always clean but not dry, that was the major down side of the dishwasher. Plus the minor issue with door seal coming out from where it sits mainly due to the bottom basket rollers hitting the seal either side of door opening. Major problems like small piece of plastic stuck in the pump. Not sure how it got though the 3 filters ( happened twice) was an easy fix. Now at the end of March 2018 dishwasher...Read more
now only does the wash part of normal wash setting than turns itself off, not finishing the the full cycle. Not a major issue as I can still do wash than run again 2 times to rinse. All in all great value for money and does what a dishwasher is suppose to do wash dishes and still going.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Stirling dishwasher Aldi
Does work properly
Brand new dishwasher straight out of box. Has error E2 message - water inlet problem and eco mode does work.
Checked hose for water to unit and find there's no problem - probably power board.
Just rung supplier and they say can't do anything cos you dont have purchase receipt.
Where's the customer support here??????

Cleans okay
This is a quiet dishwasher, it has enough settings for different loads of dishes. It cleans alright, sometimes you might find the odd little bit of crumb or tiny bit of sauce on something after a load but not always. It does a dries the dishes okay, sometimes they're still a bit wet. Does a good job of cleaning glasses with rinse aid

Dishwasher
I recently purchased my dishwasher from Aldi and I would highly recommend it, it cleans very good never leves food on my dishes, or lipstick on my cups excellent for pots and pans and is excepionally quiet. You use Aldi dishwasher tablets in it so therefore it is not expensive to run

Wash the dishes, dry the dishes
This dishwasher does quite an efficient job of cleaning all the dishes. Unfortunately I have to dry everything myself before packing away...the cutlery in particular. Larger plates are a tight squeeze when packing the dishwasher also. Easy push button operation. Good value for money I guess as was at the lower price bracket for a dishwasher.

Stirling dishwasher (?)
No good, E2 error code, faults every time. Worked only twice. Once only with repairer then stopped. Then once after apparent reset. Repairer coming out to see. Video footage taken for proof. My advice is to stay away from its problems.
Big headaches, you get what you pay for. Waiting for other products to fail that we got from Aldi.
Now we have an E3 error.

Good for the price!
This dishwasher works really well for the price payed for it. This is our second one as the first one had broken draws.
It always cleans the dishes that are in there. Sometimes you do need some rinse aid or to stack the dishes not so close to each other as they wont clean the best way. Sometimes you'll put a single dish with some butter chicken sauce and the whole dishwasher will be covered in sauce, so you have to run it again.

Stay away from it
It does not clean the dishes very well. It leaves plenty behind.
Especially on the dishes with large size, it is not very effective.
I would not recommend this and rather spend your money on a decent brand from good guy or Harvey norman. I would not buy this again.

Excellent value
Always clean, but not always dry. Rinse aid is always a must. Quiet enough to run at night without disturbing anyone. The racks can get a little stuck sometimes. Easy installation, had no problems doing a DIY to replace an old unit. Stainless steel finish matches other appliances. Great value for the price.

Does an aldi dishwasher have a condenser
1 answer
I’m not sure about a condenser, but it did have an extra drying cycle. It worked perfectly up until five months. Then died.
