Good with the bad
This machine was good to begin with. Made good coffee and quickly. Flavours were nice and a good variety but over time they changed receipes and all became bitter. It was sometimes tricky to clean and often had the pods getting stuck. Went through two machines before switching to another brand.

First coffee machine and it has exceeded all of our expectations
Tried a variety of coffees,Chai Latte and Chocolate. All great flavours .The machine is so easy to operate and so easy to clean.Have had coffees at friends using a variety of very expensive machines and none of them were as good as the Expressi. Wish we had purchased one years ago!

great product!
great coffee- and love the hot chocolate. Cant be a bit tricky to clean, butis generally OK. havent had any real problems with it, apart from the occasional pod jam, which hapnes when you dont empty the tray properly. The tray itself also jams sometimes as well, but one can put up with it. Would love for it to be a bigger space under the spout to put bigger mugs under

Going back to instant
This new machine has trouble pumping the water through the pods or the pods themselves are at fault, I have voiced my concerns to the shops with varying degrees of comebacks, like give us the bar code batch number or bring it Back if more than half fail.
The coffee is nice but lately I have removed the coffee so the plastic can be recycled if they can and the coffee grinds go on the garden, with this in mind not buying pods at all would save that effort

Great little machine for a reasonable price.. could be improved though.
The basic coffee flavours and range of strengths is great. Not so sure about a couple of the more 'exotic' ones. Very easy machine to use & keep clean! I disagree that the coffee is hot. I always have to nuke it for about 30-40 seconds. Reasonable design and performance for the price. Would love it if their coffee pods were authentic and biodegradable though.

Love it, so easy to use and clean.
Coffee and tea tastes great and is hot. Easy to use and clean and can go in dishwasher if needed. Plenty of choice of strength of capsules for coffee and also have tea. Usually plenty of stock when l go to purchase more capsules. Does not leave any marks on the cups like some teas do.

Great machine
This machine has been fantastic, it has never missed a beat so easy to use and quick. There is a fantastic range of strengths of coffee available and really nice range of hot chocolate capsules also. We also bought the milk frother at the same time. We have only used the Aldi capsules in it but I have been told others fit. I descale my machine about every 3-4 months with the Descaler and it works really well.

I use this machine when travelling in the place of my expresso machi e.
Once I had mastered the use of tne machine I have found it makes a good cup of coffee. I like the size of the machine and that is easily transported in our camper van . I enjoy being able to customise the flavour intensity to individual tastes. The machine is easy to fill and takes very little effort to clean.

Terrible.
Keep away from this money burner and time waster. Aldi know there is a problem, there staff have acknowledged a problem and were happy for me to bring back the pods that failed until one manager said they could not keep giving me free pods. He told me to bring back the machine even though i told him i didn't have the receipt. I did as he suggested turned with my box machine but this time another manager was working and he denied the exchange saying i needed a receipt. I explained to him the other manager had told me to bring it back. Again he ...Read more
denied me the exchange and told me to call the manufacturer and they would have it repaired. Absolute rubbish coming from this manager mouth. I told him i could find the transaction on my bank statement but then told me if it is over 4 months old he wouldnt be able find the receipt in their system. Im now on a mission to prove this terrible wrong and Aldi are covering it up at the expense of its customers. Shame Aldi treating your loyal customers likeSimilar opinion? Disappointed with operation
Love the coffee, but after only one or two cups most of the coffee ends up in the used pod receptacle. Tried all options like cleaning reprogramming but still reverts to this. Very frustrating because we love the coffee and this is our second machine. First one was no problem at all.

Value & great priced capsules
Tried lots of machines & their capsules since the revolution @ work. Aldi's far outshines them all and they regularly have bulk but capsule deals. Easier to fill with water, easy capsule removal & the coffee is exceptional in taste. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of investing in barrista style coffee @ home.

Love this machine.
So easy to use, great range and affordable coffee capsules
Our first one we purchased (2015 model) stopped working after 12 months
We just took it back and it was replaced with the 2016 model so was very happy
The design and colours are great, fit in with any kitchen decor and doesnt take up to much room

When it works, I love it!
I am over the moon with this coffeemaker when it is working properly. Unfortunately, it is quite a moody beast.
This is my second after the first blew the big silver nozzle off the front of the machine and across the kitchen. Luckily, no one was injured. (Pro tip: Dont stand in front of it!)
Apart from that spectacular failure, Pods occasionally jam in the socket requiring prying out. Even piercing with a sharp knife and levering out, for the tough ones, a wonderfully messy process.
Even worse and messier though is when the pods themsel...Read more
ves burst, spewing the machine and the cup with coffee grinds and coffee. I recently, stocked up on a bulk packs sale and many of the pods from that batch were bursting. After several ignored enquiries, I finally got a reply and the only solution from expressi/k-fee was to load the pod twice before running the machine. A ridiculously convoluted procedure, that still failed anyway. Now expressi/k-fee are now just ignoring my messages. So while the machine can and is great when it works when it doesn't whether due to design, fault or bad pods my experience with the support side was abysmal. For a big company they were surprisingly unhelpful and even evasive. 3 stars for the machine 1 star for supportSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent Coffee Value
The Espressi has worked constantly for almost 2 years and is so simple to use and clean. The only important thing is to remember to run just water through after making hot chocolate or if leaving it without use. The capsules are good value and there is a great range of coffees.

Great coffee
I bought this machine last year. I am quite happy with the taste of coffee. It is great especially in the mornings. I bought it from ALDI at a good price too. It is really easy to learn and how to make a coffee you love. I just have some problems with its cleaning that is why I gave 4 star otherwise, great machine.

Love it
Coffee is great. We changed from the Woolworths brand machine to this about two years ago and love it! Easy to clean, operate and have had no problems with it. Coffee pods are a reasonable price. Coffee tastes good, the chai latte is great too.
I really can't fault this machine.

WOW. This is superbe. Wholeheartedly recommended!
The aroma of the coffee is only bettered by the taste. It sure tastes as good as it smells.
Together with the milk frother we are absolutely impressed. In less than a month it had paid for itself.
No more second rate coffees, or waiting on inefficient service.
The fact that it costs so much less than other models makes me want to sing.
The instructions could be improved upon.

Love the quick real coffee in the morning
The pods are great with a huge variety of strengths and styles. It is a stylish modern well designed compact machine which fits well in our motorhome and on kitchen bench. Very happy with the no brainer functions. Coffee comes out hot as well, not luke warm like some machines. Great value for money. Love Aldi

You get what you pay for!
I'd give Aldi 9/10 for the taste of their 'pods' but the machine is not made to last. We only use it 3 days out of 7 but the older model only lasted 10 months. The 'new' version has done better lasting 12 months but it's into the bin now. It only half fills a cup before sending the rest into the empty capsule container. Pods also get jammed and can't be extracted. We're done with the Expressi !! So much for the 2 year Guarantee, it's worthless.

My aldi coffee machine suddenly won't wrk. Button switch not coming on. Any suggestions?

If it is less than two years old it has warranty so take it back to store, if you don't have the receipt then call caffitaly .
If it's out of warranty then it's dead. Cost more to repair than new one
Thanks....it looks like new machine coming up.

I have an aldi expressi machine, purchased less than four months ago, the only button that works is the rinse button. I can no longer make a cup of coffee with one press of a button. I have to press the rinse button about five time to get a full cup. Anyone know a fix for this or should I just return?

The idea of these machines is for making lattes or cappuccino which is why it only dispenses a small amount of coffee, I suggest pressing the low button first, then put your pod in and press the button once again.
Absolute rubbish... My origanal machine filled an espresso cup... This thing is pure rubbish

does anyone know if you can buy the Expressi machine in nz?
