Great machine and great coffee
I have had this machine for over 2 years now and it has been great. Always produces a hot cuppa, and the Aldi coffee pods are as good as any. The only thing i would like to see is bio-degradable or compostable pods to save landfill. Warranty is finished so I would buy another if I encounter a problem in the future.

Perfect coffee
Love this machine. Easy to use and clean which is important for a quick coffee fix. I use with my Aldi milk frother for a cafe style coffee at a fraction of the price. Lots of different varieties of coffees that don't break the bank like some of the other do

Not bad, does the job
Very easy to use and clean, this low-maintenance coffee machine still deliver coffee which is above the average if we are talking about capsules. Additional plus is the big variety of taste that Aldi offer. Preparing a morning hot drink is very quick with that machine. Apart from coffee, you could use it for chai latte, hot chocolate and similar as well.

Love mine! Use it every day. This is my second Aldi expressi machine first one lasted 5 years.
I love the taste of Torino (dark chocolate notes). This model has a smaller water reserve, but is more slimline, and takes up much less room. Easier to clean with drip catcher being seperate from waste pod container. There was a issue with pods a while back, (coffee dripping inside waste container not coming out the front) but current pods work great. The coffee Is always perfectly flavoured and hot, never burnt.

Good unit no mess.
As a barista I got sick of making a mess at home with a single group espresso machine in front of my partner. They had no idea how to use it so the chances of me getting a coffee made for me were nil. So we decided to buy the famous aldi expressi machine.
Aldi Kfee Cube 595:

Awesome machine for price
This is a great coffee machine. I have used it multiple times a day since I bought it and have had no issues. its nice and easy to use and it’s easy enough to find the pods to fit it in most grocery stores. also nice and slimline so doesn’t take up too much bench space.

Fast, easy to use machine, but cleaning a bit tedious
Love the machine and the coffee capsules it uses.
Certainly the fastest way of busting out a coffee in the morning before work.
My only dislike, is that the water runs pretty quickly, and if you don't stay VERY up to date with cleaning out the drip trays, it gets pretty funky in there!

Good quality for the price
Happy with the quality for the price I have paid, Good range of coffee capsule to choose from, also reasonable priced
I will recommend it. There are lots of Aldi stores around with it can be purchased from, the unit is also cheap enough to buy one for work which I use all the time

love it
Considering the price and consistency of this machine it is a winner. I like that it is compatible with a lot of pods on the market but unfortunately doesn't perform as consistently as the Aldi bought pods. I don't find the aldi pods strong enough so i buy other stronger brands and this is where sometimes it gets blocked and doesn't perform as well. But overall it makes a great cup of coffee when it does.

Coffee machine
Very easy to use and very good looking machine. The size is good as it can fit into most spaces in the kitchen. You can purchase a large variety of coffee flavours and all at a reasonable. Price. It is a very affordable machine and very good value for money

It's ok, but it has some downsides that makes it unsuitable for me.
The biggest thing I disliked about this machine was the difficulty in cleaning. Pods occasionally get stuck, and you can spend a good stretch of time trying to get them out. There's a pre-coffee 'clean' function you run before every cup but if you look where you stick the pods you'll see that the machine is still very dirty, even if the water is clear. At least once a week I'd have to deal with stuck pods.
Finding the pods you want is also touch and go. ALDI is incredibly inconsistent with stock and is perfectly happy to let stock that's pop...Read more
ular run out to sell the terrible pods. When they're bad, they're very, very bad. When they're good, they're mediocre. At the same time, quality brands tend to be incompatible. Even the ones that are compatible can collapse under the low power and cause the pod release to activate (wasting a very expensive pod). Overall, I've found this machine has put me off pods. I do see the convenience but as I prefer a quality cup of coffee, this is just not suitable for me.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Super easy to use.
The Expressi Machine is so easy to use I couldn't resist. Always reliable for taste, cheaper than most other models, plenty to love.
Probably what I like the most of all is the look, it's squared design looks sharp in modern kitchens but doesn't stick out either, just neat and sharp. Awesome product.

Nice coffee but bad for the environment
This machine from Aldi makes nice coffee & is easy to use but capsules are so bad for the environment so Im going back to the older style machine. These capsules are now more expensive than initially. My husband & i were using $20 worth of capsules a week (3 coffees each per day =about $3 perday x 7 days). Its actually a lot cheaper to buy a bag of coffee beans, grind them in your food processor & use them in the older style coffee machine or plunger. Aldi should at least set up a way for customers to return their used coffee pods for recycling. If the pods were biodegradable & cheaper i would consider going back to using the pods just for the convenience of having no mess.

Makes a great coffee!
This is the second expressi machine I have bought.. I have had a few issues with the pod sometimes getting stuck, and sometimes the coffee doesn’t dispense, so a pod is wasted, but apart from that, I love the variety of pods, and the great taste. I actually prefer the older model, it was a lot sturdier.

Cant wake up without my coffee
I brought this machine for my husband for his birthday, now I cant live without it. Broke down after 11 months but had no issues in getting it replaced. Love the variety of coffee capsules can go from strong to weak. I also brought the milk frother to top it off.

Good "cheap" coffee machine.
I love the fact that it works with other brands that have similar sized pods. Makes a decent cup of coffee and is easy to clean and maintain. The shape of it is a bit awkward and bulky which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Really can't complain for this price point.

Second machine and love it still!
I've had an Aldi coffee machine for 6 years now having brought one over from Brisbane to Perth. I got many good years out of my original machine so it was a no-brainer to buy one again when it eventually died. The coffee is great, pods are cheap and come in a good variety of tastes and strengths and the cleaning system is simple. I could not recommend this highly enough and think its incredible value for money

Great product
We love our machine and does the job nicely. The coffee tastes great, really nice crema and lots and lots of intensity and flavours to choose from. They don't have the longest life as we have bought two in the last three years but for the price you can buy six for the price of a Nespresso which I believe is just a waste of money and all your paying for is the brand.

Questions & Answers
Bethasked
I was unable to remove the used pod container from my machine for many months, & eventually stopped trying. After about a year of disuse, I mentioned the problem to someone, this afternoon, & showed them how the container is supposed to be removed, so they could have a go, and as I did so, the container just came straight out, no problems! I gather it was because the coffee had become totally dehydrated over time, and so the pods had shrunk back down, so they no longer filled the available space...!
Anyway, I plugged my machine back in, filled up the water container, and tried to run the clean water through the machine. Although the 3 lights came on, then 2 went off (as they’re supposed to) leaving the milk/rinse button’s light on, when I pressed the button, nothing happened. I’ve tried all 3 buttons, and have tried with & without a pod in the machine, but nada! It doesn’t make a sound, either, so the water isn’t even heating up! Any suggestions as to what the problem might be, or how I might be able to get my Expressi machine working again?
Any help would be much appreciated!

How old is the machine ? Honestly from your story you probably need to go out and buy a new machine. Especially if it is not under warranty anymore. I have just bought the latest machine at Aldi and it is fabulous ! A lot quieter than the original one I purchased a few years back.
