Affordable machine that does the job but nothing amazing
As far the machine goes, it works fine and the coffee is drinkable. Don't expect a barista quality coffee as you're restricted to the coffee from the pods which is always a downside for me in buying these machines. But I can't afford a proper machine so this does the trick!

It's decent
Despite its ease of use and convenience, I always found that coffee I make without the machine tastes better. This could be a result of the machine producing a somewhat watery mix rather than a potent coffee I prefer, otherwise other cons are paying a lot of money for high quality pods to use.

It’s just ok
I don’t use it anymore as I found it too so long every morning to just make one cup of coffee, and the coffee never tasted that great anyway. I worry about how clean it is, I feel like it would have a lot of germs accumulated easily and I don’t have the time to clean the machine out after each use.

great machine for small space and a good coffee.
Compact design, makes good coffee, easy to use and clean. And the coffee pods are excellent price great flavour. For $80.00 it is a good price, I have owned are much more expensive brand with costly pods, and the taste was disappointing. I am much happier with this one, plus it comes with 2 year warranty.

Works a treat and easy to use
I love the variety of pods that are available to be able to use in this coffee machine, whether it be hot chocolate or coffee these are awesome especially because there is so many different strengths to chose from. The only thing I would change is the fact that you can’t atore pods with the pod machine and that you have to buy it seperate

The coffee keeps going into the used pod container
I love my Aldi coffee machines, but with the newer Espressi model I'm just about to return my second machine and get a refund. I originally had one of the older machines and it worked perfectly, never any problems. I bought one of the 2016 models as I'd moved into a new modern house and wanted a more modern looking machine. Unfortunately, the first machine malfunctioned after a few months with the coffee going into the pod dispenser and not into the cup. I've had the second machine for only 5 months and I've been having the same problem again. Took 3 pods to make half strength coffee and then the pod was jammed. Still have my old machine and will be using that one from now on.

Great coffee!
Me and my partner love our Aldi coffee machine. It comes at a good price, is easy to use and clean and produces a pretty good cup of coffee! The new 2016 model is a lot sleeker looking than the last one which is cool. It is a little noisy, but doesn't take long to make a cup of coffee!

Perfect and easy
This machine is brilliant and is easy to clean. I bought their limited addition and it brilliant the coffee is delicious, so easy to use. We had a $400 espresso machine which we can't tell the difference between the two. The pods are excellent tasting and the choice of flavours are great, but the only down fall is you have to get them at Aldi unlike my other machine I could go to any shop for them. If you want something easy makes great coffee and cheap I recommend this product.

Amazing product!!!!
So happy with this product. I was contemplating purchasing a much more expensive coffee pod machine but couldn’t justify spending that much money when I could buy the ALDI one for a fraction of the price. The Aldi pods make amazing coffees with this machine. I love it. I use it 3 times a day and have yet to face any issues. I have also been told other brands pods fit this machine. So if your not a fan of the Aldi pods, you have other options. Also love that it has descale pods too. So easy to clean.

Great for a quick great tasting consistent coffee
I received this machine as a gift and being a coffee tragic, I couldn't have been happier. The machine is simple enough to use and produces a nice consistent coffee.
As mentioned in other reviews on this site, the machine can have an occasional issue where it redirects the water into the waste bin intead of the cup. I have only had this issue a couple of times with the Calibrese pods but was rectified by stopping the machine and removing and reinserting the pod. I now use the Abruzzo pods daily and haven't had this issue.

t method to make a coffee was a bit unclear at first but with perseverence I have formula that I like. For my personal preference, I only ever extract a small cup out of the pod regardless of cup/mug size as it will produce the best flavour from the coffee without burning the grounds. If you run a large cup, I find it makes the coffee a bit bitter. If you want a stronger coffee, it is better to run two pods using the small cup setting however I find one pod to be sufficient. It also makes an excellent hot chocolate for those in the family who don't drink coffee. Overall I am pleased with the machine and it continues to get used daily along with the Expressi milk frother.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

LEMON!
First machine (exactly the same) started only half filling the cup with the rest of the water going into the used capsule container after about a year. It seems that after the coffee got wet it hadn't enough bar pressure to pump through the pod. I thought I was unlucky so bought another brand new identical machine from Aldi today. It did the SAME THING on the first pod!! I'm finished with Expressi and ANY appliance from Aldi. The only positive is that I was refunded without hassle one hour later. The Aldi boss didn't even blink. It seems this happens all the time.

great coffee!
Got this from Aldi, my wife doubt it, but when she tried first cup of her coffee, she likes it! easy to clean and maintain. Lots varieties of flavour in all Aldi stores. Otherwise, can get the pods from any local or woolies with the other brand available. Great price for a great coffee at home.

Great variety of flavours and so easy to use
Great machine
Easy to keep clean and the pods never block up like some others.
Should have purchased one of these first time .
You can get the pods from the nespresso shop or if not any coles or woolworths carry the pods .
Tney are very competetive in pricing

Hard to start
I am happy with this coffee machine. I use it in the office every day.
There is a negative point and it is when you leave it and come back it goes to just latte mode.
Rest of things are OK with it, the taste of coffee etc.
And I LOVE it anyway.

Hmmm. Planned obsolescence?
We love the coffee, we find the ease of use impressive however this is the third Expressi Machine that we have purchased in the past four years. It appears that the machines have a finite life span. That life span seems to expire shortly after the warranty period. The first machine developed a leak shortly after warranty had expired, the second machine we almost wrestled with it to insert/remove the coffee pods and have our fingers crossed that this third machine will be third time lucky.
What choice do you have - if you enjoy the coffee, find it reasonably economical and efficient, then you need to buy the machine. I wish I could have been more positive.

small but does the job, you can make one or 5 coffees at a time
I can buy a variety of coffees and they all taste great. The coffee maker is small, and compact, you can make a weak or strong coffee according to your taste, heats up very fast and it's quick and easy to use and cleaning is a breeze. Last thing you wanna do every morning is waste time waiting for the water to boil.

Love this machine
The coffee comes out so creamy and nice, I really enjoy this coffee machine. It's easy to use and very easy to clean. I have a variety of pods I use depending on what coffee I want. If I'm feeling like a mocka I just add a hot chocolate pod. You can mix up and add flavours, anything really

ng to the used capsule chamber and flowing only small amount of coffee into the cup even though I regularly cleaned it and always used Aldi capsules. I raised this with their customer service team and received a new machine. Disappointing experience in the end but it was really good we have our receipt and 2 year warranty. Hope they make new editions that will see less of these problems coming up. My father in law ended up buying a new machine from Costco (Italian Saeco machine) for $100 and so far its excellent.
