Dose a good job for a Aldi brand

published

I can't believe how amazing this coffee machine is for the price I paid and can't get over the fact it's an Aldi. The cap things are cheap and easy to use just open one up and slide it in the top and away you go with really nice simple coffee

Fast to make coffee and looks good

published

The Expressi is a well thought out 'mature' machine. Its well engineered and quick to operate. I can have a coffee in my hand three minutes after thinking of it. The machine itself is pretty stylish for an Aldi machine and they do a nice range of pods although I always buy the strong Italian style ones.

Great coffee pod machine

published

Very Easy to use, operate and clean. My machine is still working perfectly. The pods are decently priced with lots of different choices in flavours and strengths. Chai latte pods are delicious, and the coffee pods are really good too. Decently priced pods and really good quality coffee. The coffee could be a bit hotter, but I just add some boiling water when I refill it.

Excellent allround machine

published

I really enjoy this machine - I use it many times a day and it makes great coffee. Deign looks nice and smart in the kitchen and it could not be easier to use. I always give it plenty of time to warm up and then it's a very simple process to make a coffee. I just use cold milk but I am considering getting the matching frother. This machine is good

Updated design is lovely

published

I am glad I waited for the new model. It looks excellent and makes I think better coffee than the previous one. I have the white and black one and it really does look smart. Coffees are delicious and consistent and are so simple to make that a child could do it. Am a very happy chappy about this!

Coffee, machine and price: all very good

published

There is a great selection of coffee pods producing a consistently good brew. I am especially pleased with the decaffeinated capsules which have a good strong flavour and the right aroma. Not the case with some other machines. The machine is easy to operate, the only blemish is that sometimes the capsule does not disengage on its own, and needs a gentle push. Otherwise the Aldi machine would deserve 5 stars.
Added after a few months using it: the capsules now disengage neatly every time.

Great coffees daily

published

Love this smart machine - I get up and warm it up than make my self and my wife a coffee. It is a pleasure to use, could not be easier and the results speak for themselves. Delicious ruch coffee, not watery like some others. I like the look of the machine too, we have the silver 'titanium' one.

Great coffee but wish the pods were refillable

published

The coffee always tastes great and is fast to make. Occasionally you have to press the top lever down quite firmly to pierce the capsule. Also sometimes a new capsule falls through into the discarded section without catching in the machine so you have to fish it out and go again, but it’s not too often. We keep it out of the way on top of the fridge which saves bench space.

Great Machine!

published

We purchased this machine just to make hot chocolates as we were not a big coffee family, however we have now had this machine for 2+ years and LOVE the Aldi coffee capsules which go with this machine.
Cheap machine but has a huge lifespan compared to the $400 machine we had prior to this which only lived out its "warranty" lifeline.

Good Coffee Good Machine Top marks

published

Aldi refreshed the look on this and I like the new design so much that I finally bought one. Good decision in my options. This is addictively easy to use and the pod rage is good. Some other systems have so little coffee inside that the results are thin and bitter - not the case with teh aldi one. Good strong coffee and lots of flavour choices.

Perfect for the whole family

published

This is the second Aldi expression machine we have bought, as we were very happy with the first one, bought 3 years ago. It is an excellent price compared to other brands, and come with a one year warranty. On top of it, we know that if we dont like it, we can return it to Aldi for a refund, no questions asked. It takes all kinds of capsules (at a very reasonable cost) - from Aldi which come in a wide variety including hot chocolate. Perfect for the whole family. My only problem with this (and all other coffee machines) is the fact that they use capsules which are not good for the environment.

Works well

published

I have no problem at all with the machine itself it is the capsule that lets down the product and I am unable to choose just the pods to do a review on. The pods are not strong at all and whether you purchase a strength 10 or a 13 for the strongest possible, they seem to be similar and weak. We purchased the Expressi to take on holidays rather than lugging around our DeLonghi Perfecta Plus. So I am disappointed in the capsules

Expressi range strong on flavor

published

I reckon I must have tried just about event pod system from all the capsule coffees I have drunk. This Is the one I bought myself though because the actual coffee is strong and flavorful, not bitter or like jumped up instant coffee as some taste like. The machine is a good price too in my books - $80 from Aldi and they always have the pods in stock. I highly recommend the Expressi system. It is better in my books.

So quick and easy to use

published

Aldi coffee is delicious definitely rivals others I've tried even nespresso.
Love the chai latte flavour and the white hot chocolate.
The machine itself is pretty simple to use and I brought the little milk frothed to go with it. Easy to clean and doesn't take up too much space.

Good machine, nice coffees

published

This is a very simple and plain looking device from Aldi but don't let appearances fool you, its a really top level coffee maker and it works very simply indeed. There are only about three movements required to make a coffee and its very easy and mess free. Heats up very quickly too. You can go from "hmm a coffee would be good" to drinking one in a bout three minutes. Lots of pod choice too. Definitely a 'recommended' vote from me.

Excellent Pod Machine - One Of The Best.

published

I have drunk a lot of pod coffee in my time (comes with the job) and I can positively say that this is one of the better systems out there. None of the bitter tangy watery coffee you get with cheap office machines, this actually produces a lustrous and smooth brew. The pods are good value compared to others and its a very simple machine to use. Heats up fast too. Overall - a definite 'recommended" from me.
