Stirling 545L French Door (May 2021)My fridge continues to leak under the fridge the technician came out and emptied the tray at the back, it is leaking again I have wooden floors I have had to stay home cancelled a day out and here I am with a five months old fridge that I bought from Aldi, it was bad enough not to be told I had to unpack it, the delivery did not happen until later at night, another day wasted, so here I am again waiting for the technician. Aldi should be responsible for there products. I certainly won’t recommend Aldi online for any products.

Great buy and great quality
Stirling 545L French Door (May 2021)We have been eyeing off french door fridges for over a year and after recently moving to our new home this was a must buy item for our kitchen however the price on them meant we would have to wait.
However when I saw the aldi catalogue with these coming out I couldn't believe the price half what I was expecting to pay for a much smaller name brand one.
So we purchased online delivery was arranged for about 2 days later and it arrived without a hitch.

Great fridge
Stirling 473L French Door (Aug 2022, Feb 2020)Great little fridge/freezer. Freezer holds tons and fridge us spacy. Temp is maintained and consistant, east to open and close (alarm is good but could be louder for deaf husbands who keep forgetting to close the door!!) The only adverse thing is shelf height for tall soup pots -easily fixed by turning lid upside down. As to delivery we live on farm property with tight drive to enter from righthand side for large trucks driver wouldnt go 30secs down the road to turn around and enter from left which is an easy entry point and we had to find a way to get it up the long drive on our own no other delivery truck drivers have refused the turn around option so was a rad disappointed in delivery I thought of refusing delivery but am glad I didnt

Good quality
Stirling 545L French Door (May 2021)Premium quality, at par with leading brands. Very quiet. Wheels at the bottom are good for movement. Ordered Saturday at 8:29 am and delivered on Wednesday at 12:15 pm by DSE trucks. You need to unpack and install yourself. I guess Kogan offers similar model without water dispenser for AUD 749 with free shipping and unpacking and installation. I regret buying fridge with water dispenser as we have to giveup on one indoor bottle shelf.

Aldi run around
Stirling 473L French Door (Aug 2022, Feb 2020)Waited over 2 weeks for delivery of fridge. Temp settings all wrong. Waited over 2 weeks for technician to tell me the fridge temp was 15C and the freezer was -35C.
Technician called it a lemon. Tempo offered refund but the fridge has to be picked up first before this can be activated. 2 weeks later Tempo can not seem to be able to coordinate with the courier. I am now ringing everyday. The experience?? Quite frankly very poor. Since 8 Aug I have not had a functioning fridge. Cant buy one until I get my refund. Aghh! I understand that lemons do occur, the Tempo people are very polite and nice but the processes leave SO much to be desired. My patience has been worn out.

Stirling 473L French Door (Aug 2022, Feb 2020)Been looking for a French door fridge for ages but all the others were too wide for my available space. Saw the Aldi advert at more than half the price of others offered and with free delivery! More importantly it’s just the right width! Stock took a week to arrive, but I was advised of this delay by Tempo when I made the initial call. I love the feature of beeping if the door isn’t closed properly. This is is my biggest purchase at Aldi yet, and I’m happy with it. 3yr warranty on fridge and 5 yrs on compressor. Thanks Aldi.

Followed all instructions and was told we would be contacted to arrange a delivery date. A week passed. Called again. Eventually told delivery would be this week. Then last night told late next week. Contacted Office of Fair Trading. They suspect that they might have run out of stock. Lesson to convey: if ALDI offer a big ticket item for sale that needs delivery, don’t go there if you live in a regional area even if they have an ALDI store

Great fridge
Stirling 473L French Door (Aug 2022, Feb 2020)I’ve been in the market for about 12months for a French four door fridge, when I saw Aldi selling this one I thought why not. It’s everything I expected and probably more, great value all round. It’s the first time Aldi have sold a big item without seeing first, but I knew I could return it if I wasn’t happy. Runs extremely quite, keeps cold, quite stylish and more room than expected too. Just as good as more expensive fridges on the market, with a better warranty.

Bonus :) Must admit, I was a bit wary, I mean, who buys a fridge from a supermarket. Off I go and buy my little box (box shows fridge and instructions on how to order) came home, phoned them and to be honest, I was thinking at least a week for delivery but NO.... ... Read mores so quiet and simple to use. It has different settings, and the holiday mode so you can save electricity costs while on holidays. I just need to save money for a holiday first. All in all... I am a very happy new fridge owner. Oh, it does come with all the handy things like the warranty etc... hoping that i never need it but peace of mind all the same. So... if you are like me and think buying a fridge from a supermarket is a bit dodgy, dont worry, its all good. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Yes, I've only owned it a short time but dont burst my happy bubble.....I love my new fridge. I bought a French door fridge, from rat a problem with delivery, now water continually leaking under fridge, the manual is useless, the crisper froze, defrosted that, still leaking, tempo staff are kind and courteous more than I can say from r the company that was going to send a technician in the wrong field or don’t understand customer service down right rude. A four month old fridge and already problems.
Water is coming out from below the fridge, the crisper was icing up, I sorted that out but the water is still coming out below the fridge, looked at the manual doesn’t help.

My space is 85cm wide. With the fridge width being 79cm, I'm concerned the doors might not open effectively / bump into the side walls. Would anyone like to enlighten me on the total width when the doors are open? Thank you so much!

For this fridge, we recommend having a space of at least 50 mm between the fridge and the side walls so that the doors can open properly (see page 11 of the manual here - https://stirlingappliances.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/STR-H419WFF-STIRLING-419-L-French-Door-Fridge-with-Water-Dispenser-IM-V1.1.pdf ).
