Mitsubishi Electric Multi Drawer MR-WX Series

Bought this off appliance online (ebay) and loving it so far.
It's not equipped with the latest tech, wifi, knock2, etc... but it's a fridge that does its job and more.
the number of compartments is very well thought off. the only width sliced compartment is super cooling freezer and ice compartments. The remaining are full width which allow us to store any long items.
It's a large internal space for its external dimension

I never thought I'd love a fridge, but I really do enjoy this every time I use it or pack it full of new groceries.

The clever shelves and drawers are so handy and the volume I fit seems way more than other fridges.

I love the blast chiller/ soft freeze option in the versa drawer. I use it to freeze meat I'll use that week and leave the big drawer below for other things.

The only improvement I could think of is the chiller drawers in the fridge section could be cut in half, so that I don't need to open both French doors to get my cheese o...

Several years ago I started reading reviews about this fridge and I have only just purchased one. It does look beautiful and I love the different compartments.
The only problem I'm having is with the ice marker. I have filled it to the indicated level but it only makes a small amount of ice and then the water container remains half full, but no more ice is made. I've checked with others who say all the water should be converted to ice, but no matter how many days I wait, the water container stays half full of water.

There are so many thoughtful options in this fridge - Easy icemaker, not needing to be plumbed in; Adjustable shelves, compartments and pockets; Different storage compartments for frozen food, too-hot-to-freeze-yet food and extending-freshness food. A bit pricey, but well worth it.

We built our kitchen around this fridge. We have had it for over 3 years now and love it. It has so much space but doesn't take up a lot of room. So quiet and looks good. It was expensive but has a 10 year warranty. We have had F&P, Samsung and other fridges in the past. None of them lasted or even compare to this fridge.

There is something satisfying about owning quality products and this MR-WX470F refrigerator is no exception. It replaced a Samsung after only four years of service. The build quality of the Mitsubishi and all it offers is typical of made in Japan products. This is not just the best refrigerator I’ve owned, but without a doubt one of the best appliances in the kitchen. Thank you, Mitsubishi for producing great products.

We've had our fridge now for three years. A Japanese friend of our recommended this brand. Turns out she was right; it just does everything well. Mitsubishi know a thing or two about air-conditioners. They also know how to make excellent fridges. The white colour was our choice because it's SO easy to keep clean. The glass front just needs a simple wipe over with Windex to keep it sparkling. It's a quiet fridge. You have to listen intently to even know it's running. Our old fridge was plumbed in and had an ice maker. Sadly fridge isn't plumbed...

After a few dud fridges I spent a bit more and got this one. The upshot is that it is a really well designed fridge. Has plenty of capacity for a family of 7, Really good visibility to all parts of the fridge, large usable freezer and vegetable, and really love the built in icemaker. Very quiet, great looking and a joy to own. Very happy wife!

Love the Ice Drawer. Our GE with in built Ice/Water dispenser would require a replacement solenoid every year at an outlay of around $500+. Plenty of room in the fridge/freezer and vegetable drawers. The only improvements I would have liked is adjustable shelves in the fridge section and an alarm when the water for ice making needs to be re-filled.

We purchased this fridge from Harvey Norman and it had a strong smell from the first day even when there is no food in it. We tried washing and wiping everything thoroughly but it did not help. Unfortunately the bad odour is also transferred to the ice cubes and when you put them in a glass of water it will make the water undrinkable. Surprisingly when I get in touch with Mitsubishi Customer Service and complained they suggested putting baking soda or lemon in the fridge! All reputable fridge brands manufactured these days have built-in odour filters and I am surprised why Mitsubishi didn't put one in their fridge.

Multi-drawer is great for organising your food and vegetables. I love the supercooling. It looks great in the kitchen. Blow the moths out of your wallet, I am glad I did!

Love this fridge. Supper quiet & spacious. Have been using it for almost a year. My kids always keeps opening the ice drawer but because it's a simple drawer it just functional and unbreakable.
I wish retailers bring in more made in Japan appliances.

It's a large fridge so ensure you arrange proper transport.
Also, if you have a cupboard above your fridge area in the kitchen, download the dimensions drawing from the link on the Mitsubishi website and ensure it will fit, as it is a bit taller than your standard fridges. Worth cutting back your overhead cupboard and doors above the fridge a little - a cabinetmaker should be able to do that easily if needed.

Drawers might need a little getting used to but this fridge is definitely advanced...
