Just hope it doesn't break down

published

While it worked, it's a nice looking, modern fridge. But once it broke down, dealing with Hisense customer service is an experience I don't wish upon anyone. Factually incorrect, uncaring, difficult, about a month later we still haven't received a replacement.

Purchased in December 2022 at The Good Guys for $1,700.

Great fridge freezer till it died 4 1/2 years on

published

Had been a great fridge/freezer up until it has started to die only 4 1/2 years old. Spoke to local service agent quote "Hisense we have a back room full of Hisense products, the company is terrible to deal with. Don't get back to you can't get parts. Unfortunately this brand is now off my shopping list. Pity as if they back their products properly it would be a different story.

Condensing motor packs up just after warranty finishes

published

Started making a screeching noise, 4 months after 3 year warranty expires. Seems the condensor motor fan has packed up and very difficult to replace. Who knows how long it will last even if replaced.
We loved this fridge but not any more. Looking for a replacement.
Surely a $1700 item should last longer than this!

What a lemon

published

The fridge was purchased in March 2022. After 2.5 year use, it stopped cooling one night. The issue is about the poor design of the fridge compartment where heaps of ice were built up over the time, stopping the fan from spinning.

Best Fridge Ever

published

I did a lot of research before buying the Hisense 670L French Door fridge. I based my decision on previous reviews which were predominantly positive. Purchased about 5 months ago. Exceptionally quite, maintains correct temperature, easy to clean and see items. The multi-function compartment is very handy, used as a fridge. So happy. Best fridge I have owed. Highly recommend.

Purchased in March 2021.

This product's service offering was very poor when a major problem arose

published

This fridge does not maintain the freezer compartment temperature and thus we are awaiting a replacement fridge after many telephone calls and service calls
We really like the design - it's sleek and the layout is good
The only draw back of this model is the very strange design of the upper door which has to be open before the adjoining door can be

Less than 12 months and the freezer LED flickers non-stop

published

Purchased from Harvey Norman Everton Park on 21st March 2020. On 24 February 2021, the freezer LED started flickering the moment I opened the door. Thought it'd be covered quickly by Harvey Norman, but instead, directed me to Hisense. Lodged a ticket on 1st March (because Harvey Norman said they'd get Hisense to contact me). It's now 2 weeks and no response. Hisense's call centre is terrible. The 'chat' function on their website doesn't work. Absolute fail for a fridge that costs more than $1,000. This will be my last Hisense product

Extremely disappointed

published

Bought this fridge 3.5 years ago and was totally in love with it until now, because my freezer is not working anymore. Technician came to see what is the problem and its the gas pump that broke. To fix it it will cost more than a new fridge so the dream became a nightmare after just 3.5 years. Very disappointed with it. luck that I bought extended warranty so i may get some credit to put towards a new fridge. but i'm sure that a fridge should last more than 3.5 year!!

Lemon

published

I purchased this fridge 2 years ago. I fell in love with the looks and design. Reviews at the time were good. Within 4 months a circuit board died and affected the cooling. I manged to get that done under warranty. 12 months later the compressor died due to a leak somewhere in the walls of the fridge. There were no compressors in Australia. Covid hit and anything from overseas was impossible. Unfortunately Hi Sense would not cover the compressor repalcement as it was purchased through Grays. Repair man said it would be costly to try and find the leak somewhere inside the panels. My "dream" fridge is now at the scrap merchant. Really Really saddend by the whole process.
