My fridge lights won’t turn off I’m assuming the door can no longer read that the doors are closed so the lights won’t turn off until the fridge stays in for too long and then leads to the lights not turning back on

Hi the fridge is showing a F2 error. I pulled the back panel inside and was very iced up. There appears to be two answers to the F2 code on this site, bad fan or defrost sensor. Can you please tell which one or both and where would I get the parts. The fridge is about 4 yrs old so I assume out of warranty. Thank you

Read moreight freezer door. They sent our a repairman who came armed with a heap of parts which did not help at all. It seems that they don't even know what a problem is so send all the parts they think of. The result for us was no rectification of our problem. I suggest you contact Consumer Affairs as, even though your fridge is our of warranty, I think I've heard that a product should be "fit for purpose" under Australian consumer laws and four years old it hardly a suitable time frame.
My hisence fridge same model..the fan wire had broke..got it rejoined works fine..but had to take off back panel and defrost it was ice up..i brought it 2015
Just received our Hinese French door with inside water dispenser. The water comes out very slow & i dont get much ice at any one time. Any help?
I have had my hisense 4 door now for a little over 5 years and never had any problems whatsoever, until now. In fact most new visitors to my hime always make comment On what a lovely looking fridge it is. I did recently move house and since then every few days I find a water puddle coming out from under the fridge. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Got it sorted, my husband took the inside panel off and discovered that the wire was snapped off, strange but it was also all frozen over and black stuff over the grill element. Thank goodness he’s gr...
Read moreeat at fixing stuff - he soldered the wire and sealed them all so no more water can touch them - he said reconnects for the fan - the fan wasn’t working he said hence the f2 error.
I cannot work out how to change the temperature of the different areas. I have tried pressing the padlock, holding it down for 15 seconds but still nothing. Please help me with this

I have just called regarding the same question - hold the holiday button for three seconds. They really should mention that in the instruction manual!
I had the same problem. Read the manual 3 times and did not see any mention of changing F to C. Held HOLIDAY as noted here and instant success. Thank you.

The inside middle panel that divides the two compartments of the freezer is burning hot . One side of the fridge is very hot too. Also the f2 error displays . What is this?

Fridge temperature display says fp. Is this an error code? This happened after my crisper section froze up.
Hmmm we seem to have the same issue but with an F2 error appearing on our 512S model. We rang the service centre, they don’t know what the error means?? How can they not know what their own error means!
Hi F2 error code analysis 1.The room fan motor is open circuit or short circuit. 2. The Fan motor is bad. 3. The control PCB is bad.
if you are within warranty this is something we log a service call for.
