Like the wide shelves. The spacious drawers, plenty of extra space with drawers within the drawers at the top, so you can put opened packets on them rather than fight for them in the freezer and the crisper. Love the little extra freezer. Only gripe is that the bottle holder at the bottom of the small left hand door is not big enough to hold a 3 litre milk and it is not interchangeable with the one higher up the door that can take a 3 litre, strange omission as they stick out the same width.

Bought this fridge to replace a 14 years old side-by-side Westinghouse.
Loves the idea of the different drawers, mainly the vegies one at the bottom.
We're eating lots of fresh vegies and it seems they keep fresher with this unique drawer (but it's too hard to really determine).
The fridge compartment itself is big, with the exception it cannot house tall containers as easy as we could with the previous one.
Freezer drawer is big enough, but it's not enough for us (a personal preference I guess), but the fact the Vera drawer can (and is) a fre...

Well we waited nearly 90 days for this fridge to be delivered..it seems there was none around and the build was being done and this was in May 2020 from H.N. but we wanted this fridge from all reports it was the "Bees KnEES" of the latest fridges...first couple of days in August in 2020 it arrived...it LOOKED every bit what I thought it would BUT smaller all thought it was bigger than my old Sharp 30 year old 500 litres fridge. Plugged it in, did not need any levelling...lights came on and purring a good 4 hrs it is purring like a kitten...sooo...
Read moreoo quite...even tells me with a chime when my Wife or I are too long at leaving the door's opened . Bit hard to difference the compartments but getting use to it...NOICE n bright inside..easy to "learn" what door to open to get what you want...but take time to pack your freezer stuff and you will be okay! SOOooooo very glad we waited as this fridge is only 1 month old (built in June) and I've learned this model is only made for New Zealand and Australia...the glass fronts stop me from sticking magnets on the front doors making it look so busy (from the old fridge I took all the magnets off it and it looked a new fridge) but the sides are not covered in glass so you can stick them there if wanting....this fridge is hauntingly quite....every time I walk by it I feel it's a shadow cause we got the Argent Silver colour....great fridge...great fridge!!Purchased in at Harvey Norman.

Was looking for a nice fridge with decent reviews and design, and a friend recommended Mitsubishi after she had purchased one. Was very happy with the purchase even though it was on higher end, well worth the money. It was extremely quiet with easy access to all the food, and the storage is amazing for its compact design. Keeps food items fresh and drawer design is extremely convenient. The glass finish of the door makes it really easy to keep clean and makes it fingerprint proof.

We have had this fridge for a few months now and have found it to be a really good fridge, however there is one exception - it makes an intermittent high pitched noise which is extremely annoying. And disappointing as it was the most expensive that we looked at and had read reviews saying it was whisper quiet.

Who thought you could love a refrigerator this much!
The purchase of this fridge has been life changing!
The useable space in this fridge is phenomenal. We had a similar size fridge previously which was always full, yet this fridge is half empty! Such a clever design.
The drawers are so practical and we can fit so much in the freezer and the vegetable crisper. And our vegetables are lasting twice as long, so we’ve almost eliminated any wastage.
The ice maker. What can I say. It’s brilliant! Love having a continual supply of ice on hand without the need for fixed plumbing. The ice lasts too!
The door shelves are HUGE and so well partitioned that it keeps all our bottles and condiments organised and at easy reach.

Love the design and build quality of this fridge. Balance of space in compartments suits our family perfectly. The fact that this is not plumbed in in order to make ice is no problem as it comes with a refillable water container which is very easy to remove and fill. We use the second small freezer drawer to rapidly cool hot leftovers, but this can also be used as additional freezing space. The bottom of this smaller freezer drawer is stainless steel to allow for heated food to sit on it without damaging plastic. Could not recommend this appliance more highly.

This fridge is the best. Absolutely love it. The ice maker is great, keeps good temps in all compartments. Doors open and close great. Would have liked the bigger size but due to my fridge opening being too small had to settle for the 500. My last fridge was a 20 year old Mitsubishi and never ever had a problem so why not buy another Mitsubishi. The brand is slightly higher in price than the usual other brand fridges although what do you expect from such a classy fridge. And, cant hear it running which is a plus. Looks very classy also in my kitchen and have had numerous comments. Very happy with my new mitso.

The Mitsubishi MRWX500CWA fridge with its opaque white glass doors and drawers is sleek in appearance and cleverly designed to maximise storage space and minimise its physical size. Therefore it is ideal if room space is limited. The fridge is extremely energy efficient without compromising functionality. It is easy to operate by a touch control door panel, easy to open and close, maintains the set temperature within the various compartments, and ...

My husband wanted this fridge and I didnt really want to pay so much extra when other brands had similar/comparable offerings. He won, and he was right (dont tell him). It's really good. I find our fruit and veges last a lot longer. It's got so much room inside but actually takes up much less physical space. Everyone comments on the design and look of the fridge when they visit. It actually looks almost integrated. Great choice. It's super quiet, which is important in open plan living space. You cant go wrong buying mitsubishi - we have their spit systems too.

Not suitable for couples or families
In order to fit water jug and more than one 2L bottle of water I've had to junk the middle shelf which was sold as convertible to a half shelf to accommodate tall items. The design is idiotic: the shelf can be halved from left to right, not down the middle, so that tall items block shorter items behind. I've broken my Brita water jug which was blocking things and knocked a small bottle of cream flying, partly because of the stupid middle shelf and because lower shelf has a sloping front that makes it too easy to inadvertently slide bottles out....
Read more Men can hardly reach in because the doors are so little and they are filled with wide shelves which invariably get bumped when you reach in. Freezer takes up more space than we need as we have a stand alone freezer. Half my fruit and veg drawer is filled with bottles, champagne tilted as it's too tall even for the drawer. On the plus side, it's pretty. And it's nice to have separate drawers with different temperatures. I think I've figured out how to use the versa drawer, instructions were a bit confusing: I bet 99% of people never alter the factory set temperature settings. Aside from the versa drawer the rest of the settings were fairly clear.Purchased in at Harvey Norman clearance centre for $2,400.

For a small fridge there is a lot of space. I wish the vege drawer wasn’t at the bottom but I understand why it is. I love the seperate ice drawer & versa drawer which is perfect to keep the meat apart from everything else. I’ve only had it for about 4 months & the most negative thing I’ve found so far is the bottle space in the door but I’ve solved that problem by putting extra bottles at the front of the vegetable compartment. I guess the other thing is you can’t put magnets on it cause the front is glass but I found a way to make mine look a little unique.

This fridge is the update to the Mitsubishi MR-WX743Y. It essentially has an extra half star energy rating, consuming 430 kWh per year.
Now to the fridge itself. We wanted a large, quiet fridge, with an ice drawer but without the complicated plumbing. We also wanted easy access for the compartments. There were a few options, but we landed on this Mitsubishi. It was pricey, most definitely, the most pricey, but for us, we believe it's money well-spent, as long as it lasts!

You have to buy something that so many people say they LOVE. The white fits in our new kitchen beautifully, always looks clean, can't be cluttered with magnets and photos, has plenty of organised space. i haven't quite got the hang of the soft freeze/super freeze drawers but will when I get the time. I can't reach the top shelf easily so that's beloved's beer shelf. Easy to clean. Be clear on the depth of this fridge. it is deep!
Only improvement I'd like is the ability to retract half side of two shelves to make a tall space, and a cheese drawer at a warmer temp for making cheese. But I love it without that anyway.
High level of energy efficiency was a deciding factor for us also, and Mitsubishi reputation.

The first good thing about it is the large capacity without looking like a monster size fridge. The fruit/vegetable drawer is on the bottom so I love that I don't have to bend down to access the freezer drawer. The ice maker is one of the best I've used and there's no need for plumbing just fill up the removable water tank. It also has a small chlorine filter between the icemaker and water tank. At first I thought the door shelves were a bit odd in design. However, now I use it I find they work perfectly. I can easily fit 3, 2 litre milk/j...
Read moreuice containers on the bottom shelf of the right hand door plus plenty of other containers. The Versa drawer is fantastic. I have to agree with the previous review; the shelves are the only slight drawback. I gave it 4 stars because over 3 weeks ago I sent mitsubishielectric.com.au a message on their website asking a question about my new fridge and I received a typical reply email letting me know they will respond asap. I still have not received a reply. However, apart from that, I did a lot of research before buying it and I'm not disappointed.Purchased in at Betta Home Living.

Mitsubishi have built an excellent fridge that looks great, works perfectly and, at 4 stars, is a real energy saver. In our 1st week of ownership we saved about $4.00 in electricity charges (versus an older 2.5 star fridge). The functions of the doors and shelves is really good; everything works well, and it is a real space saver (20% less space compared to similar capacity fridges).
It is a truly first-rate fridge.

The first thing you notice is how beautifully designed this fridge is. Then you notice how quiet it is. It took me a while to learn to use its menu for setting drawer temps etc. Love that it makes ice and does not need to be plumbed in. Lovely generous veg drawer.
I took one star off because the shelves are flimsy and bend under weight. Our old FP glass shelves were reinforced with a metal rod. Such a shame as it it's other wise brilliant.

Update: 2 years later and I still LOVE this fridge... it's probably the best thing I've ever bought. It's so easy to keep clean it and it still looks brand new. We have also moved house a number of times and it is super easy to transport because of the wheels and carry handles. My only regret is that I wish I got the bigger version! I like to buy in bulk, have a tonne of sauces and bottles and also have lots of drinks on hand, so it can get mighty squishy in there if you get the smaller version.. we are only a 2 person household as well. Read moren get around this by being inventive with the various compartments though. For instance we use a section of the vegetable crisper to keep our drinks in. I've also never used the special drawer to freeze warm food - I just have it set up to be slightly less cold than my big freezer section and use it to store ice cream. I'm also still SO happy with the ice maker. Seriously Mitsubishi make the best fridges. Don't consider any other brand. Original: I spent quite a few days researching fridges and decided on this one. I 100% made the right decision. This fridge is so well made. The quality and design are FANTASTIC. Having different sections with drawers is wonderful. The quality of the material is high. I love everything about this fridge. Diamond white comes up very clean - can hardly see finger marks. Rolling wheels on the bottom for easy moving. My vegetable drawers have so far kept everything very fresh for quite a long time. The freezer compartment is wonderful - frost free! An alarm is door is left open. Easy to use and conspicuous control panel. Door design is top notch. Shelfs are good quality. Retractable shelf very handy for large bottles or jugs. THE BEST PART: ICE MACHINE. Non plumbed, so no worrying about replacing parts or call outs to fix. Easy to clean. Makes ice fast and very quiet. I have not even noticed it so far. The fridge itself is also very quiet. It is also very efficient with 4 stars! This is probably the best item I've ever purchased.Purchased in at Stan Cash for $2,691.

So glad I ended up with this fridge, all the space I could possibly need! It has meant going from a smaller fridge plus extra freezer to a larger fridge where all fits in one plus a lower energy consumption per year! It is also great as it is a slimline double door fridge so that you can have a larger fridge to still fit in a smaller space!

Best fridge ever - good enough to be a tourist attraction!
A stunningly beautiful and well-designed product. An innovative design with its practical and easy-to-use drawers for the freezer and vegetables, also with a separate multipurpose 'Versa' drawer - these extra drawers free up normal fridge space. The only issue with this model is limited space for 3-litre milk cartons (2 litre max size for the door shelves). The in-built ice maker gets a huge tick - with its inbuilt tank that only needs filling if required, without the hassle of a plumbed-in connection & its associated risk if/when its hose or c...
