Terrible craftsmanship, insulting customer service and mice at the service desk.
Avoid at all cost. We had a top of the line canopy fitted and underbody kit installed. Over $4000 worth of work. I have contacted general manager at ARB Jindalee and they ignored my request saying it’s just too bad that the fitting was done poorly. They can’t change it .
Booked 6 weeks in advance to have a underbody kits and canopy fitted. Was called after dropping the car off to be told the wrong part had arrived to their shop so it wasn’t getting installed. We offered to go pick up the correct part but ARB Jindalee refused to let us because ...
Read moreit could potential mean the installation could take long we and; quote “the guys didn’t want to stay past 4.30 on a Friday to install it”. Took the car back on Monday to find mice in a mouse trap on the customer service bench. I returned later that day and they were still there. Was told to come back at 5pm to pick up. Was made to wait till 5.40 for them to finish, of which I watched the workers stop to have smoko while I waited. When given the car the canopy still has sticker on the glass that should have been removed before the canopy was attached but they forgot so now they are in able to be removed. The tub lining had been cut to fit the new canopy but they cut too much so now it just falls down into the tray. All the bolts reattached to the side rails were threaded so can’t be removed. The underbody kit was installed incorrectly, damaging the oil catchment so we had to pay our mechanic to fix it and reinstall correctly. Stewart the service manager was extremely rude and disrespectful, saying that we just had to take what we were give because the sales manager had already offered us a discount for being a defence force serving members, so you quote “get what you get.” Do not go to this shop, they are a very poor example of what ARB should be.- 3 reviews

Best Australian 4x4 Company around
Service and products are top notch. I would never put anything else on my Y62. Bull bar has impacted over 20 roo's without a mark
The worst customer focused company I've ever had the displeasure of purchasing from.
Long wait times and not honouring promotions when stuff goes on sale before goods have been provided. I saw the bad reviews and thought they couldn't be this bad the local store was great to deal with the company itself is terrible. I'm a store manager and always honour promotions if we are unable to supply the products. Not to mention they provide a Web queries portal on their website and never respond to it even the most basic questions they won't bother to respond.
Customer Srvice is poor
BENDIGO ARB Kangaroo Flat
I dont normally review things but you need to know that Bendigo ARB customer service is very slow. I rang or emailed at least 8 or 9 times to get an update or to get paperwork they said was “on the way”. I had to initiate each contact. My contact was friendly but had to be phoned and emailed to get the job finished.
I needed to travel 100k each way over 4 different days for what they said would take one day as they were not organised.
They charged me hundreds over their quote saying that some other customers didn’t front and I needed to pay to extra to cover that and the engineers cost. Not my problem. Will not go back. Shame really as it is a great product and well engineered.

Quite possibly the most expensive heavy duty awning brackets on the market
I recently purchased some heavy duty awning brackets (stock code 1780390) to install an Ostrich Wing awning on my Troopy. Being the most expensive brackets on the market at $162:74 I thought they would be up to the job. However being the most expensive doesn't necessarily mean being the best and the brackets started to bend before I could even unfold half the awning. To say I am deeply disappointed is an understatement and I will never purchase another item from this company as long as I will live. I just hope the gas bottle holder I purchased actually is able to contain the gas bottle and not leave me in a situation where it allows the bottle to fall off the roof rack and ends up going through someone else's windscreen.

Clueless, Rude and unlawfully discriminatory!
Discriminated by staff. I was unlawfully ejected from the store and told I would only be served outside in the 35 degree heat. I mentioned that I was having trouble getting up a dirt road.
Would not help me with making a correct purchase...... just didn't know.
I will also be lodging a discrimination enquiry with the regulator.

ARB Glass Rear Window Explosion
Rear ARB window exploded sitting in the driveway this afternoon! Looks like a common problem with ARB glass. $370 to replace. Any idea of an alternative? I’d give them a zero star rating if possible! Dangerous and no trust with the product now.
ARB glass explosion!!
Another Victim of ARB glass explosion!! Closing the back window down getting half way and exploded in my hands on side of busy road!! Bearing in mind it's not that old in our Amarok 17 series!! Cuts on hands, legs and arms!! Obviously it's something ARB need to look into as this is a hazard and needs to be reviewed!

Often no Stock
I called ARB Hobart a few times lately looking to buy 4wd gear but each time they had no stock. I wanted a diff lock costing 1300 dollars but was told they'd been wiped out of stock and it would take 6 weeks to get one from Melbourne. Same for a tyre pump up kit and some other goods we wanted.
Sadly I bought these and more goods cheaper on line from Vic and they arrived in 2 days.
My family of 5 4wd nuts now prefers to shop on line given our recent dissapointments with ARB Hobart.
Come in...as a premier ARB outlet..it must be possible to get ARB stock. Other non-ARB outlets clearly can and will deliver in days...not weeks.
Such a sad outcome for a local business.

Ask for your parts they remove off your vehicle
I have an ARB bull bar and it is designed so that there are two panel on the bull bar that are removed if you have a winch fitted. I took my car in to have this done and requested that the two panels removed were left in my vehicle. When I went to pick up the vehicle these two large panels were not in my vehicle. I went immediately back into the store and requested them and I had the impression they did not want to give them back even though they were mine. The salesman asked someone else to go and get them and when he asked where they were h...
Read moree was told they were in the spare parts store room. Reluctantly he went and got them for me. These parts would have to be worth a couple of hundred dollars especially if someone is looking for the same color. My advice to all is that if you have parts removed from your vehicle then make sure you get them back. You never know if you will need them. If I were to ever remove the winch then I would need these parts. Don't let them steal what belongs to you.Not Happy
Arb wheel arch flares, mudflaps not moved out to match flares would gladly have paid $100 more for them to do it while they had the wheels off.
Wheel nuts both rear were tensioned about right, both front were so tight I had to use 1metre of pipe on wrench to loosen them.
Not happy.
Refused LR tank install without $4k of Old Man Emu kit.
I have a 2021 Jimny bog stock and wanted to upgrade my 40L fuel tank to 80L. They refused to do it unless I spend an extra few thousand on off road suspension all round.
I don't go serious offroading. I want a LR just for more range. The design of the tank is no lower on the frame than the OEM tank. I refuse to believe adding the weight of a small child in the back requires new suspension. They are just upselling and pressuring people into getting products they don't really need.

Can anyone detail how to remove the lock tab from the lock body on an ARB 2018 Classic canopy. By the diagrams it separates after removing the screw but mine seems to be locked solid. Glued?? Thanks
Hi, I have an ARB Ascent Canopy with a roof tent mounted on too of a Ford Ranger. The tent is heavy, 100kg. On dirt roads I have blown two rear windows. Is there an alternative to the rear glass? Aluminium or perspex.
