Ordered the rug which was promptly delivered. However the colour was not what what was expected from internet photo's. Contacted AU Rugs to return rug and was advised I would have to pay $250 to freight it back to USA which is greater than cost of rug. Not a great return policy for customers!!

I guess it s Fedex's fault but all my attempts to resolve the fact that I was sent a small parcel of Victoria's secret gym gear instead of the rug highlight the problems with buying online. I have been trying to contact both Fedex and Aurugs. Aurugs replied to my email and acknowledged I had a problem but asked me to take photos to show them what was wrong with the rug. Their 24/7 line goes to message bank. I guess some lady somewhere is working out naked on my rug

Like most people I ordered thinking it was an Australian company. When I read the bad reviews I tried to cancel my order but was told it was already shipped. I have to say that I have been very pleasantly surprised. They were quick to respond to my questions and my rug arrived to Brisbane within a week and I really love my rug. I honestly couldn’t fault this company.

I was happy with my rugs but over 2 years they faded to almost white, the tag quoting 'colour fast'.

Very thin cheaply made rug. I paid $200 and it's not a $200 rug. In Australia you would get this quality at Kmart or big W for about $60 and you would be happy. Very dissappointing quality. In the photo you'll see poor stitching and the wrong colour cotton in the white/cream section which is not throughout the rug but noticeable..
The time tit took from payment to delivery was good, about one week. Delivered by FedEx.

I was shocked when I realized they are not Australian ... Why they pretend they are?
I wanted to return the rug and now I have to send it back to Switzerland and the price for refund is much more higher than the rug itself

The order was never delivered and customer Service person doesnt accept my request for return. Its a total scam, lost my money and time.

What you get is completely different from what you see in the photo. Very poor quality in design!

After reading reviews, I was dubious about ordering but decided to take a chance as I really loved the Kashkuli Gabbeh Rug, It arrived exactly one week after being ordered. Was rolled up and packaged well. Before I purchased it, I did phone customer service with some questions and they promptly answered all my questions. Would have no hesitation from ordering from AU Rugs again.

I would not recommend this company. Firstly, deceive buyers by making it look like they are Australian. Secondly, rugs are very poor quality - very thin and flimsy. Also, the colour when you look from one direction is opposite to when you look the other. One side was. We will be returning these rugs, but will have to pay the postage to return to the United States. Will be an expensive lesson for us.

Great priced rug. Delivered all the way to Brisbane in only a week even with public holidays. Was packaged very well and happy with the quality. Exactly as described.

After having emailed this company several times as the PayPal link did not work! The company replied each times with links and suggestions to a pay through PayPal but none of these worked. They wanted me to use a credit card instead which I refuse to do. I will purchase my rug elsewhere now!

Very flimsy poor quality runner rug. Won’t flatten out as it is too lightweight and poor quality. Too hard to return to US from Australia. Take my advice and buy a rug in person so you don’t pay dollars for a rug you won’t use.

I emailed the company telling them I received the wrong rug and I wish to receive the right one. They replied that I was need to cover the return costs and they would give me a 20% discount on the next rug I chose for the inconvenience.
I went onto email them photos showing them the rug and telling them it was the wrong rug and I shouldn’t have to cover the cost as it wasn’t my mistake.
They simply emailed the returns policy.
I again emailed photos and repeated myself.
They then replied we don’t cover change of mind and the colours look dif...

I was sceptical about ordering after reading these reviews but fell in love with a particular design so had to risk it. The rug arrived in 5 days from america to melbourne Vic, it came rolled and crease free. It looked exactly like the photo and is beautiful in real life. It's not as heavy as you'd expect but it is thick, lays flat and doesnt move around even on tiles. I was hesitant to order from these guys after reading the experiences on here but im really glad i took the risk as it worked out this time!.

Ordered a rug on line. Note: not an Australian company. Rug arrived from America a cost of about a grand, made in India and unusable due to smell and multiple defects in rug. Contacted the company who advised to return it to their Swiss office !!! at a cost of about a grand for a %10 refund. After much to and fro and consult with consumer affairs finally managed a full refund as product was defective, still have the rug rolled up in the shed. run a mile.

We ordered 3 rugs and were sent a tracking number that was from a year earlier. When we told them the tracking couldn't be right, we received no response. Repeated attempts to contact them and they have not responded for weeks.

I wish I could do zero stars. This company has brought me so much stress. I purchased a rug for $499 and less than 6 months later I did a warranty claim as it was so thin and lumpy. They sent me a rug and the same issue occurred so I asked for a refund. They only offered me yet another rug (keep in mind our previous rug from another company we had for 9 years and was still beautiful, so we look after our things and it's just unbelievable that we could be onto our third rug in 11 Months compared to 1 rug for 9 years that we were only getting rid...

OMG. I wish I'd bothered to read the reviews on this piece of crap company before being tricked into thinking they're an Australian brand. It is very misleading and, the rugs are extremely poor quality. In fact, they're more like a thick material than a proper rug. You have to pay to return the item and given it has to go to the US or some other random overseas company, you're going to be spending more on returns than you did on your purchase. Warning warning warning do not use this company.

Knowing the rug I ordered was coming from the US I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I received my order. Color was exactly as I wanted and the rug was rolled with no creases. And free shipping was an added bonus.

This is not an Australian company as it has advertised, very dissapointed that I have been mislead. I am not sure why a US company needs to advertise as if it Australian.

I placed an order (Australian) a month ago for a runner rug. Was charged to my credit card and received a ‘confirmation of order’ status. I understand that because of covid etc, there have been delays with the postal system, so have been fairly relaxed in terms of delivery times. After reading about rugs being delivered folded, and not rolled up, I took a risk and ordered 140cm X 200cm grey soft touch shag rug from this shop for $249, thinking I will just have to deal with the creases. My rug was delivered from the US, took a couple of weeks to arrive, and I was very pleasantly surprised that it arrived rolled up and not folded! I am very happy with the rug, especially as we were unable to find this size anywhere in local shops. Someone offered to make the rug from a bigger piece, but of course we would have to pay for ...

Purchased the 335 x 245 Oregon rug. Should have set my money on fire instead. The rug is creased and won’t lie flat on the floor. The company gave me all types of solutions but none worked. They have offered me a 5% refund. Please don’t waste your money on these thin cheap looking rugs
