Gorgeous rugs!

I have just received 3 rugs from AuRugs and couldn’t be happier. They arrived within 10 days and when I had a query during shipment my email was answered promptly! Actually I was surprised how quickly. The rugs are as described on the website. Lovely colours and soft to walk on. I have just placed another order for two more rugs. I would recommend AuRugs to family and friends :)

Non existent rug

We had a disappointing result with AU Rugs - we ordered and paid for a rug only to find out that it was no longer available but only after contacting them for a delivery update. It then took some time that we got our money back.

COVID delay

Because of COVID restrictions, I was interstate for five weeks helping a daughter (who lives alone with no extended family or partner to help) on the arrival of her baby, so a rug I ordered from AURugs stayed unopened with my neighbour until I returned. The rug's colour wasn't what it looked like on the net (although I admit I find it very hard to really see colours on screens). I have never seen such an ugly brown or rug. Because the 30 days had expired they would not allow me to return it. They eventually gave me half the price back ($275 up from 200). What a dreadful waste of my money and earth's resources. I was happy to pay return freight and buy another. Don't buy rugs over the net.

I had been looking at this rug for months and after reading some reviews was very reluctant to order.I could find what i wanted on any other site and had been looking in shops for months.Finally bit the bullet and ordered.My rig arrived in 9 days from USA and i was able to track all the way.It only slowed down when it reached Australia.Great service and very very happy with my purchase.Highly recommend.

I ordered a beautiful, pink and cream round rug for my daughter's room. On arrival I was completely horrified at what I have received. There are very obvious stains, poor quality, matted sides and the patterning and colours are nothing like what was advertised. Beware.

I ordered a lagom shag rug rug online on 13th April and it was delivered yesterday,21 April to the Sunshine Coast Qld .The rug is just beautiful, feels soft and luxurious. Great website as well eg you take a photo of your room and can place various rugs in the room to see if size and colours look right. Very impressed with everything incl price.Thank You

This is the first time I have ordered online. So was very nerve racking for me. From the time I placed my order. Rug too thin...

Very quick delivery from US to AUS. Rolled and wrapped securely. Shag is a nice length and backing is good quality. However, the rug just isn't thick enough to be comfortable to walk on and sit on - all you can feel is the backing. Bunnings would have a thicker more comfortable rug for the same price. Can't recommend them because the product isn't worth the price - I wouldn't have purchased it if I had felt it in person.

Extendend Resolution to Return Rug for Refund

I purchased and Outdoor Rug for my patio on 20 December 2022. The rug arrived just after Christmas. I was not happy with the rug and contacted AUrugs. I was advised even though they have a 30 day return policy I would have to pay over $200 to return the rug to America. The rug cost $316. I was advised I could keep the rug and receive a $60 refund. I chose the second option. I waited till 25 March and 4 series of emails later to receive the refund. If you are unhappy with the product is't not worth purchasing from this company.

BE AWARE it will cost $220+ to return ... should not be selling into OZ

AUrugs is NOT an Australian company and has NO base in Australia. You have to pay for returns to the USA or Switzerland. BE AWARE, our rugs colour was not the same as photo on the website and as a result we can't use it. It cost $430, and will cost $230 to return it to Switzerland. They bury this detail on refunds deep in their website. They offered a $160 refund, but we are still stuck with at $270 rug we can't use. AUrugs should NOT be selling into Australia. Buy from an Australian supplier. and don't get ripped off like we did over a simple return, which any online retailer knows must be affordable for their customer as they cant see the product in person until it arrives.

Garbage

So they ship from Switzerland, which means returns are impossible. Our $499 rug turned up - i wouldnt have paid $50 for it. Totally different to the photos online, poor quality, thin and generally just garbage. Seems we are now stuck with it due to the huge costs to send a 2.4m square rug back to Switzerland.

Dont ever buy here.

Over the moon with my purchase of a 250x250 shag rug. Great quality, well packaged and arrived in 8 working days to a country location from the US! Highly recommend and will use again. Beware there is another site called aurugs.com.au which confused me initially. Glad I went with this company.

Not what was advertised

Should've looked at the reviews here before buying. Arcadia 1550 x 2550 rug advertised with 1/2 inch (13mm) pile. No indication that this was a US business till at the Paypal checkout so a foreign transaction fee was added. Received quickly though but the rug is thin with pile height only 7mm. Due to the cost with return I negotiated a 45% refund of the original cost of $369.00 supposedly reduced from $738.00 so ended up paying $199.00 & it is hardly worth this much. They have not changed the details on their website. Don't go near AuRugs. If you want to return the item it has to be sent back to the US or Switzerland at YOUR cost

I purchased a 3 x 2 metre rug that was $800 reduced to $349. Terrible quality, so thin, wasn't the same colour and didn't look like the picture. When I requested a refund they said I had to post to Switzerland at a cost of around $180 to me. I tried selling on marketplace for weeks but struggled due to quality. I did end up selling for $120 so a total loss of $249.

I ordered two 2.5mx2.5m rugs on a Sunday night, both were in my possession by Friday afternoon. Delivery speed is amazing. However the rugs were folded in half to save on postage costs which gives you an idea of how thick (or not) they are. The rugs were true to the photos but feel cheap underfoot. When you pay $200 for a rug that usually retails for $700, thats the end result.

No Rug no refund!

Dont buy if you are in Australia the rug I ordered did not arrive to my home address. Months later after my own investigation I found out the rug was sitting at Brisbane airport and not delivered to my home address, no one informed me of this and it was sent back to the USA! I am still waiting for a refund.

stay away from the white rugs, it was kind of dirty upon arrival and much whiter than pictured.. i wasn't that impressed and due to the returns being in Switzerland will probably be selling through marketplace

The delivery is super fast, the rug was delivered even a bit earlier than I expected.
The carpet is exactly as described, nice quality, not very thick, but very pleasant to touch, soft. There were some wrinkles and smell when I opened it, but the smell disappeared within a day, and wrinkles straightened in half a day. I bought 2.5x3.3m rug, for just $159, I think it's a real bargain. Very happy with purchase.

You won’t get a confirmation or delivery update email. I had to chase them for one and when they did reply, they told me the rug I paid for was unavailable and suggested two other rugs but asked for a refund instead. Good luck!
