What a pain
Wish I'd seen these reviews first...
Ordered a vacuum on Jan 25. They say getting it into them takes "2-12 days. The average is 4"... It's Feb 12th and we've heard no word.
Called them up - (the rep didn't have the authority to look up the order by the order number, for some reason), and it took putting me on hold to find the order. She returned, and the vacuum conveniently had just arrived... they'll be shipping it tomorrow. I wonder if I'd have gotten the same answer if I'd called last week...
Not really looking forward to what happens if we need a warranty replacement or repair from these muppets.

Disappointed
Their page says "Shop online with confidence" and unfortunately I have lost confidence with this company.
I ordered a Miele accessory for the vacuum cleaner which was available at similar prices at other stores online but though as I had purchased from them before (few months prior) I would go again with them.
BIG MISTAKE.
The money came out quick enough and yes I was expecting a delay as it did say the order would not ship immediately and said on average the speed.
However after being told it was possibly held up in customs, already sent, it would arrive in a couple of days and also it would be here today (4 different reasons), I got fed up and just asked for a refund which they were able to do fast.

Awful. Just awful
3 weeks after ordering may vacuum cleaner and variously being told that it was stuck in customs and that my order had erroneously been marked as suspicious I still have no word on when this will ship. Every time I call I I'm told that stock is expected that afternoon and I will get an email as soon as my order is dispatched then... Silence. Will be seeking a refund tomorrow.

Very poor customer service. Ordered aircon and advised won't be available until first week of March 2017. I emailed in the first week of March to see what the status is. No response. Emailed someone else who advised it wasn't in yet & I will be contacted once it is ready for delivery. I was very rudely told that it hadn't arrived yet and that I would've been told the product would be arriving in their warehouse on that date, not that it is to be delivered on that date. Why would a company call customers to tell them it has arrived at their warehouse??? The gentlemen seemed very agitated and irritated that I called. To date, I have not received any sort of correspondence about this. Do yourself a favour, do not order from these people, save yourself the time and hassle and order from a reputable store! Still awaiting an email regarding my shipment....
I purchased a V8 absolute Dyson 12 days ago. It states on the delivery Average of 4 days though can take up to 12 days. I'm yet to even receive the email where I can track my order... I phoned last Friday to where I was informed that my order would be sent that day and I would receive my order by Monday or Tuesday. My order was in stock when I made the purchase... so why is it taking so long? Have they even sent my order? Where is my tracking number?

Restored my confidence in online shopping
I purchased a Miele vacuum cleaner that wasn't available elsewhere - which made me a little suspicious. I received an SMS and an email confirmation of my purchase and then I waited... After a couple of weeks I phoned to check on the progress of my order and the gentleman told me he was just wrapping it. I was skeptical but needn't have been. Australia Post emailed confirmation the parcel was on the way and it was delivered the next day. The vacuum cleaner was a great price and worth waiting a short while for. I'd use this retailer again.

After more than a week they couldn't tell me where my order was. Terrible customer service. I had to chase them numerous times to find out. Ended up asking for a full refund. Was a complete waste of time. Will not use Aus-appliances again

Good price and service
Ordered a Bosch slimline dishwasher after a competitor didn't have stock and wasn't getting additional in for a number of weeks. Price was good - better than most retailers and was delivered within a few days for a $25 delivery fee. Very happy.

Excellent!
Decided to buy a 562l Mitsubishi fridge after seeing their excellent reviews and Aus- Appliances had the best price by a fair margin. Seeing some of the bad reviews about Aus-App on this site I called to explain I live down a right of way and have steps as well so they would need two delivery men and the special trolley as the fridge weighed 117 kilos. They explained they have their own delivery men and vans and it was no extra cost.

with another man in a ute. The new fridge was installed in minutes and they took away my old monster Maytag fridge (had to take the doors off to get it out of the house). The two men were very efficient and could not be nicer. So I cannot fault them and would certainly recommend them based on my experience. Cheapest price and excellent Service - I highly recommend them
They had the cheapest price & the product was in stock. They answer the phone and respond to emails promptly. They pay special attention to each order. After reading many of the reviews on this site I must say that I was a little hesitant to purchase from Aus appliances especially for an expensive item like a fridge. day (midmorning), the salesperson also indicated that the driver would 30 minutes prior. Fast forward to the following day and the driver did call 30 minutes prior and when he got to our house he was the most polite delivery driver that I had ever met. He also took great care not to damage anything in our house whilst he put the fridge where it needed to go. I can only speak of my experience but I could not recommend aus-appliances highly enough.1 comment

Extraordinary service
I bought a nobo heater for my elderly sick parents. The heater stopped working after a few days.....possibly a timer error from my parents. As I live a few hours from their place I called aus-appliances and the lengths they went to to get a rep from nobo to go to my parents place to fix the issue was great. Thanks heaps for your willingness to search for a solution.

I ordered a dryer on May 25th. I emailed the company on May 29th to ask when they expected it to be dispatched. The reply was that it was due in the warehouse the following Tuesday (3rd June) and would be dispatched immediately. It is now June 9th. I have had no further emails from the company and I still don't have my dryer. I won't be using them again. I don't understand how they have these good reviews.

Extremely poor delivery experience
Prefer to pay for delivery than have this little surprise. Ordered three electric panel heaters online and only delivery option available was Australia Post eParcel. My eParcels usually arrive to the local Australia Post LPO agent for easy pick-up. Not a good choice made by Aus-Appliance for items this weigh/size, these had to be picked up from a distribution centre a 16km round trip from the delivery address. To top it off they could only be picked up 06.00 to 13.00 M-F and I was home as the delivery card was popped in my letterbox.

It's unfortunate when the rare delivery issue like this pops up but it is hard to avoid. We've sent over a thousand Nobo heaters around Australia using Aus-post couriers and this is maybe the second issue ever. Other courier companies that we've tried it's a miracle when they arrived undestroyed. When I buy products online I always tick the Aus-post option. My apologies for the inconvenience in this case. All we can do is ship it as carefully as possible, sometimes couriers don't bother knocking on doors (Which is unfortunate and inconvenient) RaulHi Raul,

Feedback is very important and we use Feefo to give us feedback on every sale. When a customer gives us a negative review on something out of our control on ieatwords it can affect another customers decision to shop with us so I do need to explain it and make that potential future customer aware that we follow best practices as much as possible. Cheap prices, poor service
Ordered an Omega dehumidifier from them and paid by paypal. After a week of not even receiving an email from them about my order, I called and was told that they were waiting on new stock. I waited a few more days, still no response. Called back and was advised that they can no longer supply the original unit I had ordered. They did offer me a similar unit which I accepted. For same city shipping, it took nearly 2 weeks.

I called the Aus appliance store and the store manager happened to answer the phone. I asked the store manager if the item I wanted to purchase had the functions I was seeking. I then purchased the item over the phone (over $350). The store deducted the money from my account then called me to inform me that the store didn't have the item to sell. I was then offered an inferior product or a refund in which will take about 5 days.

When we decided to drop the price on those vacuum cleaners we should have been a bit more careful with stock levels as they sold very quickly and your phone order got caught up with someone else buying straight from the website. Joni was upset about this as he felt he assisted you well over the phone and it's disheartening to see it end up with a negaive review that truly hurts a small business like ours. I do still have one of those machines that is a display model which has never been used but has a few small cosmetic blemishes and I'm sure we can come to an arrangement to make it worth your while to buy if you still want it at an even better price. Great service and quick delivery not to mention best price
Giving credit where credit is due. Just received my dishwasher that I bought 2 days ago. Cant tell you how pleased I am. Online sale went very smoothly, received phone call to organise delivery and they delivered in the window nominated. I know delivery is 3rd party but whole experience has been brilliant from buying online to the follow up email confirming my phone number for delivery, the delivery guys calling and organising a time and then showing up when they said they would.

I have had a similar problem, I ordered V6 animal two weeks ago, they said it would be shipped last Friday. I am yet to receive confirmation that it has been posted and when I called I ended up at the voicemail of some "Danielle" chick. I think I've been conned, and as someone who works their butt off for minimum wage I think it's unfair.

Hi Lone Wolf, I actually received my V8 a couple of days after I posted this. However, first Danielle answered one of my many emails and gave me a tracking number for Australia post but the tracking number didn't work. The email was really unprofessional and not a link to Australia post like a company would normally send. In fact she didn't even mention it was for Australia post and as it was just a number and I had to ask who it was sent with. Of course this made me even more concerned but then the same day Australia Post delivered it and then that evening I had a follow up call from them to ask if I had received it ok. So I think you will be ok!
