Terrible product and terrible service!
How can you go from having the best card on the market (Load and Go) to the worst in such a short amount of time? Card constantly placed on hold for valid transactions. Literally every second transaction. Customer Service (if you can call them that) go through security questions multiple times only for them to hang up on you and you have to go through the process again. Don't waste your time on this card.

Don't bother buying it
I first had a load and go card and it was fantastic, so when they cancelled those you basically had to get one of the mastercards if you wanted to do the same thing. At first its fine, untill you want to purchase something online, you have to put in the same address you gave when signing up. Which is the house address, for lots of places its not feasable or safe to do this, things get stolen if your not home and items get left at the house. Its utter crap! , so it doesn't allow the transaction. You can't change the address for the card and they dont allow a po box to start with. If you have any questions or problems you need to call the special number and go through however many people to get a simple answer. Because no one at a post office has enough 'information'. Its appaling that if I try to order something most of the time it doesn't work. It also doesn't like pairing up to other paying services. When loading money, its easier to go instore and to do it with cash, but they ask for your id every time!. If you transfer money online you have to fill out a form and transfer the exact amount you stated otherwise their system can't handle it. Its a pain to check the balance as there isn't an easy access to the login page, and it never lets me in with the first login try, even if its correct, I always have to login 2 or 3 times before I actually get into my account. I have also been misinformed in my account with how much balance I had, once it seemed I had $60in my account. There was nothing showing as a pending payment, but when I went to ourchase something in store, I couldn't apparently I onky had $20 or something. It was like they showed the purchase without deducting the money. Giving me a false amount of balance. I would not reccomend anyone purchasing this unless its for tap and go.

Time and money WASTED!!!!!!!
I wish they would bring back the load and go card. I have never had so much trouble checking something as simple as the balance. When tried the website when I could find it my mother's maiden name and my password were back to front. The only way I found this out was calling customer service who told me. The people at the post office aren't able to access the information to change it. They can't even tell you what the balance is either. The load and go card was so much easier. What a waste of time and money. Get your act together Australia Post.

Bring Back Load and Go
I liked my load and go card and used it a lot, easily transferring funds from my bank account. This one has a very temperamental website - I have to reset my password every time I use it - but worst of all the transfer of funds via bpay is a fiddly two step process and takes THREE days to appear in the account - ridiculous in this day and age and pretty useless for a card of convenience.

Quite limiting
I used to use the load and go cards as I wanted to control purchases on things like dating apps (to help eliminate auto subscription and or scammers). These were convenient as it gave separation between this and my standard personal credit card with a much higher limit. Load & Go cards aren't available anymore so had to get this Auspost everyday M/Card. Problem is you can't subscribe at all to dating apps with this card. So now need to find another card.

I wish I knew beforehand..
Previously I had a Load and Go card, and had not a worry with it.. but from what I am told it is now replaced by this everyday card.. mistakenly I thought the replacement Everyday card would be as good as my experience with load and go.. But nothing could be further from the truth.
My card does not recognise my password, responds telling me I havent got a valid account., but if I try to re activate it it says it is already active.. I am not sure how I can simultaneously not have an account and have activated my card..but then I am a mere human...Read more

When entering the digits are you entering the first 4 numbers (of the 16) then the first 2 numbers of the second 4 and then the last 4 (of the 16). on it.. but isn't actually able to do anything about fixing a problem.. that is handed off to a third party, who so far have proved incapable of rectifying anything. Having a call centre that can actually converse in an intelligable version of English would probably be a great start. I have gone through both entry methods, where to reset a password requires the entry of a whole card number, and also the system that requires on a partial card number entry..neither work..I sit waiting for a interim password to arrive, as per the process to reset my unrecognized ( but correct ) one.. but nothing arrives.. I am able to receive emails from everybody else.. so right or wrong I assume that there is a fault with the call centre mail transmission, as they are the only ones that dont arrive.. Because of the low amount of credit on my card I will probably just tear up the card and mark it down to experience.. but I hope Aus Post isnt expecting any future business from me, because based on performance they suck.I will approach my bank for a debit card, as they seem to have a working system, rather than a cobbled together hotch potch that Heritage Bank provide.Similar opinion? Very disappointed experience
Australia Post misspelt my name and told me they could not correct it. Advised me to ring the help line. Ended up talking to someone in the Philippines. Bad line, bad accent!!. Could not correct the spelling mistake unless I sent visual ID even after I told them all my personal details. Will get rid of this card as soon as possible. Bring back load and go visa card. Bad move Australia Post to get involved with this mob!!

Not worth it
Biggest problem for me is trying to reload it. Easy to do at the post office (though my hours and theres usually dont line up). This product just wont work on the online site or the app. Error after error. MasterCard support is pretty much nonexistent. I miss the old easy to use visa, I know its not Aus Post fault but this really is a bad product. When it is loaded, it has worked online for me so far (touch wood), however it will not work in person at a shop. Does anyone know of an alternative prepaid card, from anywhere? I rely on them a great deal.

Doesn't work!
Our community group (cat rescue) purchased this card to use after previously using the load and go. Unfortunately the main website we use to make purchases from doesn't appear to accept it which is very dissapointing and frustrating.
PS. Please don't pick on Priscilla. It's not her fault the card is crap. You are doing your best Pris.

Horrible
How could anything be so bad ? Well done Australia Post. You have managed to change from a perfectly good system in Load N Go to this absolute fail in Everyday Mastercard. What a joke. Look at the reviews they all say the same thing. My fail occurred because I trusted the app and the online site to tell me I have a balance of $175 until I come to use it and get rejected. Only because I kept all receipts could I then work out that clearly something does not reconcile and there is a huge lag in transactions. I will be cancelling and going elsewhere. BIG FAIL !!

Worst Prepaid card i have ever had
I was only able to use the card twice before it out of nowhere would not allow me to use it.
Online or in a shop.
I cannot take my money off the card as the web pages are not done properly and log you out when you click on anything or dont show the information you are requesting.
I have contacted them to ask for assistance and i get he same response Basically saying "go to the web page and look at your account or call the number" The number says Toll free but it costs you dearly. It looks like they are taking money and make it very hard to for you to get yours back.

Don't waste your time with this product
Well, this Everyday Mastercard is a waste of time and money.
Had 2 auspost load&go over the years and never had any issues using it online in Australia or overseas and transferring funds were done next day.
The everyday mastercard took 5 days to transfer funds cause it went over a weekend, did a bpay on Thursday and money finally went into account the following Tuesday.
Of the 4 places I tried to use this card online, all rejected, what's the point of having a CVC on this card if you can't use it online anywhere.
The only thing that works is tap and go.
Don't waste your time with this crap product.

Another thing, the website for Everyday Mastercard doesn't even work.
You try and reload money and you get the error below, you try and go to setting and get the same error below.

Tried three times to change my password doesn,t work,hate having to repeat details over and over worry,worry until I read reviews, now I understand, thought there was something wrong with me, got transactions on phone said it went back six months only got one month and then said that is all I have,I too cannot understand why they changed this card and why fair trading allows it to continue with so many people unhappy .Did I read that Auspost was wholly owned by the government wow that,s a worry.

Avoid if you possibly can.
Despite having used this card for international transactions before without issue,the most recent occasion I did caused it to be stopped because the transaction was supposedly unrecognised and hence,suspicious .Never mind that the transaction was genuine,the card was cancelled anyway and after ten business days have been and gone,I am still without a replacement card with not an insignificant amount transferred over from the old card.I am short of cash and am relying on "real" credit cards.Should the replacement card ever arrive,I am just going...Read more

Doesnt do what it says
Unable to load card via EFT..Was advised to contact Tech support. What moron in Australia Post got rid of the Load & Go and replaced it with this?
My Load & Go expires this month, so I thought I'd try the replacement.
When I purchased it, the person at the AusPost branch entered one letter of my email address wrongly, and also entered the passphrase as my mother's maiden name. The card was activated, but I couldn't register an account for it. After two days of calls to "support", I finally got a lady who fixed the email mistake, but said to correct the other problem I would have to send them copies of identity documents. Oh, how I miss my good old Load & Go.
When I was forced to update to this new system I expected it to be every bit as wonderful as the old one and perhaps even better.
I'm bitterly disappointed as I can't get the app to operate because of some unexplained security issue, OzPost would love to help but they can't make suggestions, and nor can they even tell me my balance let alone recent transactions.
I've tried three times phoning the number on the back but can't understand a word being said.
In a word "DUD" and Australia Post is professional enough they should never have let this happen.

Started with me needing to give her my name in full, my card number (again) along with my address, city and postcode. Also my country because it didn't show up on her computer screen. Then I needed to supply my phone number (3 times) and the first three letters of my mother's maiden name. There was a problem straight away with her next question about the country of my last transaction because I said Australia, which is where I live, but it seems it was America because that's where I was trying to purchase something and the card wouldn't allow it. We are almost there, says she, and all I need to do now is open my emails because she's sending me one and I must reply to it by scanning in my passport and driver's licence and send it to her so she can confirm my identity and further discuss any problem I might be having. This all took fully ten minutes and was the point at which I hung up in disgust. (Needless to say, this post will be followed by one from the robotic Priscilla saying, "Hi, AussieBrian. It can be so frustrating when..."). My current plan is to work out how to withdraw all my money from the card then cut it up into little pieces and mail it to the CEO of Australia Post.
