Happy with service
Bought 5L bottle of oil from Warners Bay NSW store, returned next day without receipt, despite seeming like a pest they printed a duplicate and refunded the amount to my card. Reason for return is I had bought a 20L drum from Rutherford NSW which was more suitable. If your unsure when shopping call over an assistant to help you and be polite... it will be make it more understandable if you need to return/refund or exchange something in future.

Century Battery
I bought a new Century battery from Autobahn for my Toyota Prado in May 2014. I travel frequently and have a usual practice of disconnecting my car battery terminals.
In August 2014, when the battery terminals was reconnected, I was surprised to find the battery not working. It has a White Circle shown in the Sight Indicator. I used a multimeter and found the voltage was only about 5V.

gave me a new battery. Can you imagine my car was not available for usage for 3 days. Now, I just came back after a few weeks overseas and reconnected the new battery replaced in August 2014 is now again faulty. It showed a White Circle and voltage was measured at 7V. Autobahn is again taking a very long time to charge the battery to check.....and they tell me they only have a small charge of something like 3.75V?? Overpriced and Incorrect Sizing
Shop around for prices and stock before buying from Autobarn. Recently I needed a thermostat for a mazda protege, and the part did not fit the car. I looked up parts on the computer and they couldn't match up with what autobarn where giving me. I rang Mazda and managed to get a genuine part. The worst part was autobarn were charging $59.99 for an aftermarket part, and mazda were charging $36.00 for a genuine part, to which fitted the car perfectly. Check out genuine before buying aftermarket.
Customer service was good, they did refund my money.

No returns at other Autobarns
Warning! Autobarn in not a national chain but individually owned franchises that don't support customers who purchased from other Autobarns. If you buy something while away from home and it fails your local Autobarn will not help you. Pretty [censored word removed] and they have lost my business. Very poor customer service. A company with this many outlets could easily find a way to help all of its Autobarn customers.
They need to support all of their customer base, not just locals.

Awesome customer service@Dandenong!
I had bought a pair of roof racks for my Mazda in August 2012. They sat in their box unopened till January 2013 when I needed to grab some timber. After assembly j noticed one of the mounting bolts was not machined properly making the rack useless. I gave the guys at Dandy a call, and without receipt and any delay, the guys at Autobarn Dandenong got a new bolt front a similar kit and saved me.
Could not be any more helpful. Awesome!

I hv been Autobarn Clayton branch for up to 10 times already. Real good customer servicing, friendly staff, nice people to inquire with. Always willing to help people for questioning and installing products with no extra charges. (Doncaster one they do charge extra) Met one of the staff Darryl there, always talked to him like a friend with any questions however he disappeared in there already but still wana reward him!

Wax On
I found the Turtle wax to be the best for keeping your paint clean
Get the wax into the pores of the paint before the dirt and it stops staining and dirt
I have two black cars and the Platinium Liquid wax is the Best.
I got the wax on when it was Brand new and it Keeps it looking really clean
Autobarn where Easy to deal with and I got my product quickly
The liquid wax is very easy to Use Especially used onto a wet car and rinse off Not Dry

Love my Local Autobarn!
I've been buying at Autobarn since I started driving in 2000... My local Autobarn at Brisbane Road is possibly the best Autobarn I've been to and thats out of possibly 6 stores I've visited over that time and over the greater South East Queensland and Brisbane.
The fella's there Brad, Mike and Trev (and the others which I cant remember their names) there are hugely helpful and have never steered me wrong and are always keen to look for products and ensure that you get the right product the first time. On one or two occasions I've had a faul...Read more
ty product that didnt fit or faded eg: red mud guards; and they were very helpful in exchanging for me to another better product. The short of it is that their store is smaller and less visually attractive than other stores available - however the guys that work there are far far far better in knowledge and resources getting what you need there and then, or by ordering it for you quickly than any other store I've visited. Very friendly and quick service
Autobarns wiper and blade fitting service i found to be very helpfull, its one of those things that have to be done perfect to get no annoying noises ect, staff knew exactly what they were doing even girl on the front counter knew what to do. Wouldnt attempt it myself knowing that they provide this service for a little bit xtra $

Awesome customer service!
I've been a customer at autobarn for 10 years! There is always someone in the store to help you, and if they happen to all be busy, you will still be acknowledged promptly and they send someone to attend to you as soon as they are available. If you're unsure about a specific part or problem with your car they explain everything in plain English and never make you feel stupid for not knowing! I highly recommend Autobarn!
