Can I put a city select seat onto a city select LUX pram?
1 answer
Baby Jogger C.Baby Jogger
Hi Special_bec,
Good question, unfortunately the answer is no. There has been no Australian Safety Standard testing conducted in regards to using the seats on other models and vice versa. Therefore it is not recommended to do so.

Leasa D.asked
Does the shopping basket go on a double city select baby jogger or only when used as a single?
1 answer
Baby Jogger C.Baby Jogger
Hi Leasa,
Yes, you can use the Shopping Tote in single or double mode.
1. Single mode on the second seat adaptors st the front of the stroller or on the top seat adaptors close to the handle bar.
2. Double mode using the hooks on the Shopping Tote attached to the frame crossbar at the back in between the rear wheels.
I hope this helps and if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Alisha Greenasked
Hi,
Baby jogger city select.
Looking at which capsule to buy. I have the adaptors but not the two bits of frame. Do some capsules require frame and some just the adapters? If so which brand capsules should I be looking at.
Thank you
Alisha.

Baby Jogger C.Baby Jogger
Hi Alisha,
Baby Jogger is currently compatible with Baby Jogger City GO, Maxi Cosi Mico AP & Citi and Recaro - these capsules require adaptors only.
We have previously been compatible with other brands and some of these required more than just the adaptors (frames and straps etc..)
We would recommend choosing one of the current compatible capsules!
Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

Sarahasked
Is the adaptors for city select bassinet and capsule the same?
1 answer
Baby Jogger C.Baby Jogger
Hi Sarah, unfortunately no they are not. Each adaptor is unique to the product it connects too for example:
The part of the adaptor that inserts into the Bassinet or Capsule are different.
The part of the adaptor that connects to the stroller frame are the same.
Hope that clarifies you question, please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions!

Hi, is the city select deluxe bassinet compatible with the city select lux? I have read the q&a’s above but it says on their website it is compatible so just wanted to double check http://www.babyjogger.com/en-US/deluxe-pram

Hi Kirsty, It is compatible and you can use the Deluxe Bassinet on the City Select LUX as a Single ride option only. Meaning you are unable to use the stroller in double or triple mode. I hope that clears this up, please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions. :)

Hi. Can you use the original city select bassinet kit with the city select LUX second seat or do I need to buy the lux bassinet kit? Thanks.

Hi Kylie,
Unfortunately No, it has not been safety tested so therefore it is not recommended. Also the City Select Bassinet is not compatible with the City Select LUX Seat. So yes you will need to purchase the City Select LUX Bassinet Kit.

Kiri M.asked
My babyjogger cityselect has developed an annoying noise in the front right wheel. It sounds like the wheel is dragging or catching at the same point each rotation and also feels that way when pushing. I cannot elicit the same thing when I spin the wheel - only wheel is rolling on ground. No visible debris stuck and no change when I removed and replaced the wheel. Help!! The noise and sensation are driving me mad!!
Thanks- Kiri

Hi Kiri,
We owned our City Select for the entirety of our two boys childhoods and love it.
Have you checked if the little brake 'lugs' are catching? It may need a little clean to ensure it is all in correct position.
It may seem weird but it can feel or sound like its the front wheel when actually its the rear.
Hope it helps - if not hope you get answers soon.
Clinton.
Baby Jogger C.Baby Jogger
Hi Kiri, Thank you Clinton that is great advice. We would also suggest removing the front wheels and giving them a good clean and then apply grease or Vaseline to the wheel pin (that inserts into the frame). Also spray lubricant to the wheel fork. If this does not rectify the issue please contact our Customer Service Team on 03 8872 6772 for further assistance.

Do the Baby Jogger City Select Lux parts fit onto the original City Select pram? For example, can I use a Lux seat on the original frame of the City Select? And does the new bench seat fit on the original frame?
1 answer
The bench seat unfortunately only works with the lux because of the way the clips work on the frame. I have however seen pictures online of older BJCS that have been modified, but you then can’t use the main seat anymore

Can anyone answer if it’s worth getting the Lux? I need to upgrade to a double pram.
My main reasoning for the Lux over the original is that I live in a hilly area and my current mountain buggy has a decelerating handbreak which I use often..

Product Reviewasked
Hi there, I'm thinking about buying the city select with two seats. I have a 2 year old and a baby 6 months. I have noticed you can't lay the front seat flat for baby to sleep unless the other seat is laying flat also? My toddler doesn't need naps when we're out as we take him home for his big sleep. I'm wondering if this stroller will work for us having a baby that still needs to lay flat frequently in the seat? While the other doesn't. Can you advise what position the seats need to be for only one seat to lay flat without getting in the way of the other? Thank you
1 answer
Im assuming you dont have the bassinet. Option 1 is to have the seats facing in reverse. Put littlest laying down on the front. Option 2 and my preferred arrangement would be invest in the skateboard so the 2yr old can get on and off at their leisure. Also much easier to maneuver through other shoppers and crowds.
