Very slow service But I got there in the end
Ordered a baby monitor and the website stated the delivery was 1 month away. No worries on this. However a weeks before delivery I went on their website and it stated the company was not available for 3 weeks. It was evident they had taken a holiday/hiatus. no issues here except my product was promised right in the middle of their time off.
I emailed for a follow up querying why my product had not been delivered 1 week after the date that was advertised on their website. They did reply within a day and stated that I would receive it in 2 weeks
No Customer service at all !!!!!
I ordered a baby monitor a week ago and I have not received any shipping confirmation at all !!!!
I have send them email number of times and no one has responded yet. Do they even exist ???

Don't respond to emails, 3 days, still waiting, half the products are out of stock. The worst customer service I have encountered. 0 stars if I could.

I felt I'm in 3rd world country where customer service sometimes is not exactly what is expected...
WIFI Bridge was playing up from day 1 so I complained and received what I classify as abusive phone call... It was my fault for not using monitor right as it works for everyone else. Moving forward they were not able to explain how it should work for weeks as they had no idea them self. (instructions supplied really were not very specific and focused on marketing side more than anything else)

Terrible customer service and products
We ordered the Luvion Prestige Touch 2 about 6 months ago and initially contacted the Baby Monitors Direct team as the battery life for the monitor was shocking. After charging it overnight, we get maybe 40 minutes of use. The pin keeps falling out of the charging socket as well. Both these complaints went unanswered. Recently the monitor has started to switch off on it's own even with partial battery. Again, no reply or contact from the team. Excellent Products and Service
Being isolated, here in Darwin, i regularly shop online within Australia and overseas. I found this business to be very informative and helpful. The monitor arrived three days later (expressed), and i have being using for six months and its perfect. Just ordered a extra camera, and again it arrived on the third day. The shipping time from Baby Monitors Direct, is a lot quicker than other online shops i buy from. Well done and thanks.
Monitor faulty and very poor customer service
The monitor didn't work so returned it. They agreed to refund us but 6 weeks later, despite lots of calls and emails, we are still waiting for a refund. Buy your baby monitor from a reputable stor such as Baby Bunting or Toys R Us.

Premium price for a defective product
I purchased a premium luvion baby monitor from this site last year. They took 6 weeks to mail the product to me as they "lost" my order until I followed them up asking where my monitor was. The monitor I purchased was not cheap. From day one the battery life was less than an hour and is now only able to work off the charge for a few minutes. When I emailed them to enquiry about a replacement battery they have not even responded to my email. I have tried following up again via email with still no response. Would never go through them again.
Quick to follow up on issue
I ordered two additional cameras for my Luvion Supreme Connect (which I ordered from BMD a year before with no problems) but when I connected them to my monitor they made a slight buzzing sound which was annoying to hear during the night. I rang BMD who called me back the next day and advised me to return the cameras for replacement. I had two new cameras within the week that both worked perfectly.

My baby will be 6 months old in 2 weeks and the Luvion Supreme connect baby monitor my mother in law purchased for me from this place STILL is not working. I've been going back and forth with them since August. I've sent the monitor back to them twice, had it supposedly replaced and it's still having the same issue. They NEVER answer the phone, you have to leave a message and it takes leaving 3-4 messages before you actually get a call back. They don't respond to emails either. Warning: Products Are Great From Experience But Their Service Is Less Than Desirable.
I found their service to be fast and friendly at first. They quickly responded to a potential sales email within a couple of hours including a link on where the item was on their website. Unfortunately, once the online purchase was made this is where their service changed. A week past and my item had not arrived (website promotes next day dispatch) I tried following this up with BMD with several phone calls (always rang out to voicemail) and endless emails. Again, despite requesting regular weekly updates on progress, I was left to try and chase my own updates up from them, again some emails were just ignored. Eventually, I had enough and requested a refund. I followed this request up 2 weeks later as it had not been processed and I was told that it would be processed that day for me. The following day I got a call to say that the item had arrived in stock where I declined the item and said my refund was requested already. I then re-followed this up 3 business days later as the refund still had not been processed. At this point I requested to just send the item. I was told it would be sent the following day. A week later and still no item in the mail so I followed this up again. The item then arrives a couple of business days later, 11 weeks after my initial payment to receive the item... not good enough. As mentioned above, the baby monitor we have is great, battery life could be better but for me the service side of things was less than desirable and not good enough. Would strongly suggest that BMD try fix this aspect of their business. Will not be reusing BMD again.Good products, customer service non-existent
Item never received (additional camera for the monitor I bought 2 years ago, which by the way is awesome.) I suspect there was none in stock but they happily took my $$ anyway. No answer to phone calls or emails-calls ALWAYS go straight to answering machine. Had to lodge a PayPal dispute - got a refund through PayPal but still never heard one word from the company. I guess they think they can treat their customers so badly as you can't by Luvion products anywhere else in Australia???

Great products, disappointing service
I bought a monitor two years ago through Baby Monitors Direct, was really happy with the product itself (Luvion Platnium 2) I have another bub on the way and the need for a second camera (Luvion is not easy to buy elsewhere) and I have been trying to get a hold of them for months now with no luck. I have left numerous messages and emailed a few times and never heard back.
I am now resigning to the fact that I will have to purchase another brand of monitor altogether :-(

Have always received fantastic service since purchasing my baby monitor 3 years ago. Although a few hiccups along the way staff have always made sure I was happy and well looked after :) and never left without my needs being met!

Terrible service!
After receiving a faulty baby monitor I contacted Baby Monitors Direct (took many many days to get through to anyone and only ever goes directly to an answering machine if you call) and was told a new base monitor would be sent. Nearly two weeks later (and many sleepless nights due to the faulty monitor!) and item has still not arrived. Contact attempts with company since reporting faulty monitor have failed. Dispute raised with PayPal to reclaim lost funds. Please be very wary of buying from this company!!!!!
Great Product, a must have for new babies
Have had this monitor for 2 years, and recently purchased a second camera as we have another little one on the way. Love the big screen and portability of this unit. Very easy to use and great features. Baby Monitors direct have been great to deal with on both occasions.

I ordered a Luvion Supreme Connect baby monitor with two cameras from Baby Monitors Direct’s website in December 2013 preceding the birth of my second child. When it hadn't been received several weeks later I rang the company and was told that it had been lost in the mail but they could send me another monitor with one camera. Unfortunately they were out of stock of the additional cameras but they would be back in stock in February so would send one to me then.

I have called and left several messages over the last month (they didn't answer the phone on any of those occasions) and have sent emails but have not had any contact from the company. I have checked their website and they now have the additional cameras listed for sale so they are obviously back in stock. I now suspect they never sent the item in the first place and were just using the "lost in the mail" line as an excuse. This is the only company in Australia that sells this brand of baby monitor so I am unable to buy another camera from somewhere else. The monitor that I have is useless to me without two cameras as I have two children, so if they don’t send me the camera I will need to buy a complete new set of monitor with two cameras.Excellent Customer Service
I purchased a Luvion Grand Elite baby monitor online from Baby Monitors Direct in 2012. The purchase process was simple and I received my product in a timely manner. So far the product has been excellent and when I needed a minor part replaced their assistance was fantastic. They replaced the part free of charge and via express post without any hesitation. Great customer service!
Fantastic customer Service
I bought Luvion Grand Elite Digital Video monitor in 2012. The package arrived safely and in a timely manner. I have to admit, the monitor was great only for 2 days then it was extremely temperamental and very unreliable. I hated it. I emailed BMD in regards to the problem but it was not solved, so I rang them, I spoke to [name removed], he was exceptional. He was apologetic and amazed that we are experiencing the same problem with the second one. Understandably, he stood by his product. This time he upgraded us to a 'Luvion Supreme Pan/Tilt Digital Video Monitor'. The replacement arrived within a week. We love this one. It never once failed us. I believe a great business is not just about selling and standing by their products. It is also about keeping their customer happy. I sincerely feel after dealing with [name removed], that BMD has got it right. The way they deal with me was fantastic and despite having problems with one of their product, I still would return to purchase goods from them again. After going through 3 baby video monitors I searched online for a monitor that would actually last as long as I need for my baby.
Baby Monitors Direct came up and I searched their website and found the perfect monitor for me & my babies.
I was surprised at how fast the package was delivered as I live remotely.

I purchased secondary batteries at their insistence and still no success in getting the monitor to work properly. After mentioning that I had done these things, and spent extra money through the company to try to fix the issues, I was treated marginally better and asked to send the monitor back to see if it could be fixed. I posted the monitor as requested and received an email reply saying that they could see no issues and that the monitor was working fine for them. I was then told that the company had gifted the monitor to a childcare centre because they couldn’t sell it on once it was out of the box, despite my not agreeing to have MY monitor given away and having not been offered any refund for the faulty monitor. When asking for a replacement or refund because I no longer had the product I was told they would post a replacement item, and after following this up for many weeks I realised they had no intention of doing this so I submitted a PayPal claim and my money was finally returned. I quite literally cannot fathom how this company is still in business!
