ALDI had these on sale back in June July and they are a great size but are easy to move around. The picture and sound is so clear and it takes our Apple TV perfectly. We watch Netflix etc. the remote has nice size buttons so easy to use. We actually went back and bought a second TV

Bought this about 1.5 years ago. Terrible sound, needed soundbar. Remote control needed multiple presses. Video and sound sometimes didn't sync. Played with it because it was cheap, but never been happy. Now it's not long pot of warranty and it blew up...literally. Big bang, then smoke came out of the back. Don't buy this, spend a bit more and get a brand name one.

It was advertised that it had many special apps and features, but most of the applications are built in TV Guides and ugly windows that pop up and to show you the weather. The interface when using the remote is very annoying, the remote is very slow with the connection to the TV, and graphics look like a windows 98 computer when you scroll through the app menu. The picture quality is nothing to rave about, it is only 1080i, not even 1080p full HD. But what can you really expect with Aldi, you get what you pay for I guess. But what you're really paying for is a HDTV. Next time I would spend a little more money a buy something like a Samsung TV that will last you years.

Bought the 58" 4K Ultra High Definition LED LCD Smart TV from Aldi. Just about 3 months later the TV started with issues. Sometimes it takes few minutes before the pic appears after switched on. Does not happen all the time. Just outside warranty, then it would loose pic (keep audio going) for anything to 10 minutes at a time and then just comes back on. Was informed by Aldi it is outside its 12 months warranty.... I got that fixed but the issue of taking time to show pic when switched on, still happens every time. Next call will be taking it to the tip. Good buy, no, no!

Stay away from Bauhn TV's $1199 died 17 months after purchase
I was lured in by the size of this TV, but that's the only good thing about it.
Picture quality was never grealaptop connected via HDMI was very poor quality
Remote was rubbish
Purchased in September 2015 from Aldi and started using it in January 2016, in February 2017 it has just lost picture. That's 13 months of use. Aldi were helpful in escalating my concerns to Tempo the manufacturer, but Tempo didn't want to help at all. I will never buy another BAUHN TV again and warn you to stay away as well. I had previously purchased two other Bauh...

Everything about this TV is average, especially the sound. The functions will drive your crazy and the remote quality is awful from touch to function. Save your money and buy a better product. The plus side easy to get your money back. Customer service is excellent, shame the TV is not.

Great picture in high definition but ordinary otherwise. Very poor sound, benefits greatly from a soundbar. Does not come with many apps, so need to use a media player set-top box, like an apple tv or roku, for easy access to netflix.
Was reasonably satisfied with it, but broke down after 4 months, and was eventually allowed a refund after 5 weeks of waiting for parts for repair.

I bought the 65" 4K TV for $1200 and it has issues where there will be no video and only audio, and then the screen flicks intermittently and repeats itself. Every time it has an episode it goes for 5-10 minutes. I have owned the TV for 4 months and it is doing it more often. Bauhn wanted evidence of the issue so I videoed and sent it to them. They don't have more stock now but Aldi will refund me fully before 12 months is up. you can always buy one and return it every year before the warranty is void but I think better to cough up and buy a Samsung

After setting up the TV, I noticed that the set would repeatedly shut down when changing past one specific channel.
After updating the firmware via a USB thumb drive (see http://www.bauhn.com.au/65inch-uhd-tv-software-update.html for the firmware file and installation instructions), the problem seems to have been resolved.
Video and audio quality are fine especially when weighed up against the cost of the unit. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product.

Like most people, you just wonder if it could be that good at that price ($1195).
Our 8-year-old Sony Bravia LCD had been excellent, until it started to turn itself off, just as I had seen these TV's advertised. I reviewed on line and noted a few negative comments about expiring after 2.5 years (but Aldi giving a full refund under Aust Consumer Law) with their Aldi 60 day returns policy, I thought 'why not?' So in we dived (surprisingly one Aldi shop still had them in stock 2 weeks after first seeing them - Creek Road Mt Gravatt East).

I have purchased my 2nd bauhn in past 3 years, first tv lasted 3 years and it was just repaired by me i replaced the capacitors in the power supply as im a qualified tv repairman, now its runs like new and use it as a second tv. (As for the remote it was beyond repair and i reprogrammed a universal remote).
I just bought the 48" ATVU48-1015
Great value for $599 why spend more on other brand tv's your only wasting your money. Most tvs only last enough to get past warranty date. Its the way the industry works now. Keep the spending cycle.
Do yourself a favour and run down to aldi a buy yourself a bauhn's TV "molly meldrum"

I will have to invest in sound bar for this tv as I have tried to adjust the sound with numerous variations but the sound remains "tinny" and it is difficult to understand some of the tv programs dialog

I got one from Aldi, and thought I was lucky as the store I went to only had twelve units for sale. Guess what? a dead pixel on the panel since day one!! Initially I thought just a speck of dust but it became obvious within a minute because it shine like a lone star in a dark night sky. Contacted Tempo straight away via emails, attaching still photos and short video to demonstrate my issue with the tv; poor and slow response. Eventually after a few weeks and back and forth emails and phone calls, they proposed to send authorised repairer to pic...
Read morek up from my house and repair it. But when the repairer deemed a new panel is needed, they cancelled the work order for repair and allowed full refund once I took it to the store I bought from. Satisfactory outcome after all, but terribly disappointed with the quality of the tv, especially it advertised as brand new panels. I try to think of something positive, sadly its only the picture quality. The smart tv itself did not work that well. For e.g. could not set the time to Queensland's time zone and always revert to NSW for unknown reason. Some other settings always required resetting after power switched of and on again. Hated to have to redo settings every now and then. Wife was happy I got rid of it so I have one thing less to get stressed about!!- 6 reviews

I purchased the Bauhn 65 in Tv a couple of months ago. I had it still in the box as I was moving into my newly built home. I've had it working for 3 days! I turn it on, then it went off whilst I was in the kitchen. I thought that was strange, turned it on, the Bauhn logo comes up, then it turns off again. Anyone have any suggestions? I will ring Bauhn tomorrow to see what is causing this. But I wanted people aware of what I am experiencing as a consumer.
Picture good but terrible tinny sound. Remote too compact and sometimes while changing channels or adjusting sound, turns the TV off! Yesterday I set up WiFi reception on TV. Now the TV turns it self off after 10 minutes. once WiFi was turned off, this issue dissapeared. I will take it back as soon as I can get it back into the box and withibn the 60 day period..
I bought the model ATVS55-915 on Saturday 10th October for AUD $799 and none of the features work! They say you can enjoy your favourite high definition videos, music and images from your phone or tablet without the need for cables, through screen mirroring. I try from several different iPhones and iPads and it doesn't work! I have good internet connection. I can stream Netflix from my computers with no problem. However, forget watching Freeview Plus on this television. It take such a long time to lead I gave up every time. Also, forget Netflix...
Read more. I cannot get but for some particular reason, it also doesn't work. I called Aldi and they say I need the box to return, there's the discretion of the store manager to accept the return of the product. I simply could not take the risk of damaging the TV in the process and I simply couldn't be bothered. However, the TV now started to present a new issue with a bit more than 30 day of purchase, it turns itself off! I'll try to return it tonight but just would like to leave here my advice. This product is a waste of your time and money! The "SMART" TV is extremely slow. The sound is terrible, image wise is OK only if you don't mind the TV turning itself off. I lost all my faith in Aldi for putting such a bad product on its shelves! No wonder why they return your money! Shame!- Date Purchased
I got one yesterday. The picture is OK to good but I wouldn't rave about it. That said I was after a new TV as a second Telly but given the poor sound I will be taking this back today. The sound is terrible ....and I mean god awful terrible. I know I can go and buy a sound bar etc but should i really have to ? Well looks like one does !

I purchased this TV from Aldi on the 10th of October and was attracted by the very cheap price and the 4K specification. Based on the no questions asked return offer to store for a full cash refund it was an easy decision to purchase this TV.
What I found: The remote was faulty and I was unable to set up the TV. I rang the after sales support number and they shipped me out a new remote by couriers inside 2 days. (Great Customer Service)
Set up the TV and found the picture quality to be excellent and the sound quality to be appalling. I now be...

Have on had thsi television for 6 days, but am extremely happy with the image quality. I was a little worried that its blacks wouldn't look black (i've come from plasma technology). Admittedly I have adjusted the setting slightly from factory specs, but mostly only because I found a calibration section on my xbox one. Which then leads me on to my only negative so far. Input lag! it seems reasonably noticeable, even after turning down motion flow control and noise reduction. I'll hang on to this TV for a little while and wait and see if a new fi...
Read morermware version will correct this input lag. If the lag is fixed, I'll wholeheartedly recommend Bauhn TV's to all my friends and acquaintences and have absolutely no hesitation in keeping this TV for the long term,- Date Purchased

Bought the 55inch 4K TV from Aldi for $800 on Saturday. The picture quality is not great. None of the standard settings is very nice. The sound is absolutely appalling. We can't listen to the TV through its own speakers. We have to use surround sound. Glad it has a satisfaction return warranty. I'll be taking this one back.

This is a somewhat preliminary review of the Aldi Bauhn brand 65" 4K Ultra HD LED LCD TV that was on sale Saturday 12th August at $1199..for those lucky enough to snag one. Reports from several Aldi stores suggest they sold out within minutes. In my local store in Waverley Gardens it was as case of being outside the store 20 minutes before opening time and literally sprinting down the back of the store to snag one.
OK - so what do you get in a $1200 65" LED LCD with 4K Ultra HD resolution I hear you ask?
Bear in mind this review is based on...
Purchased in at ALDI for $1,299.

I have contacted Tempo/Aldi regarding my non working 65inch TV, I was given a Case number, I was told someone would be out to look at the tv, they will ring me in the next 24-48 hours. No contact at ...
Read moreall from anyone, unable to speak to anyone at Tempo/Aldi as it says they are inundated. They aren't doing a thing!! After more than a week later, I finally got hold of Tempo, they weren't answering their calls, as I spent hours waiting. I told them I have had no contact from the TV repair man. They gave me the phone number direct. The TV repair man in Geelong werent keen to pick up my TV. They just told me they ordered the part. How can they order a part and not see the TV??? Seems as though many people have had this problem with their Aldi/Tempo TV's. I am not happy with the TV repair man ordering a part when he hasn't seen the TV. He doesn't want to pick up my TV, no date given as to when the part would be in. This is not right.
