Great replacement for y 2 year old Sony that got black screen after android update
My two year old Sony got unfixable black screen after a android update, so this TV I bought to replace it after Sony customer care blew me off. I Just plug it in and away it went found all my TV channels in a instant and found my sound system and blue ray play in a heartbeat!! I remember setting up Sony TV was a hour long process I had to redo every android update!! The picture is smooth and fast/slow moving scenes do not jitter when watching blue ray and the 4k upscale is great.

Read more straight out of the box!! So far I have watched two movies and tv has excellent black screen uniformity, no grey blotches among the black like my Sony had!! White color is great too, actually the whole color spectrum is very nice! Some people had bagged the TV and remote in above reviews, but I found the little cursor is great, just like a PC cursor, and they must have had a $5000.00 OLED tv before buying this model hence the disappointment. But I can tell you for my first 4k TV after researching lots of models from lots of TV manufacturers, I am very happy. And I use A LG NVidia g-sync Ultra gear 144hz 1400p monitor for my PC and love it so I am not surprised I love this $K TV too!Purchased in November 2021 at The Good Guys for $995.
Tv is ok but the remote is a toy. We bought 2 tv’s one if the remotes basically fell apart in my hand
And due to carpal tunnel I don’t have much strength in my hands . Just fell apart never seen anything like it so of course after a few weeks we had to go back and forth using one remote till the new one we bought online arrives . Guess you get what you pay for might be better to pay the extra few hundred and get a better tv.

Buy another brand and save yourself a whole lot of frustration trying to set it up and eventually having to return it to the store. Absolutely worthless piece of dysfunctional junk! LG's setup process is the worst I have ever encountered. It's the most unintuitive, illogical waste of time you could imaging. You cannot sign in with an existing account such as Goggle etc and if you manage to get past that, you'll find you can't download apps you want. Absolutely useless and has put me right off LG products. I would never by anything made by LG again.

Read morepparently has some undisclosed, sleazy arrangement with Apple so users are corralled that way. Don't bother trying to sign in or access your Google account, that function does not work despite being offered as an option. The salesmen bang on about picture quality and ease of use but neglect to mention that if you buy an LG you won't be able to access the common, mainstream apps you are most likely to want. Usually with appliances you get what you pay for, not when you buy an LG though. LG products are a con and a waste of money. Buyers should read the INDEPENDENT reviews before purchasing to save themselves the disappointment and grief LG products will bring them.Hi MBJ,

Good picture and sound, great for gaming and movies, it has a little bit of ips glow but that's normal for tvs with these panels and for this price you can't really complain overall happy with product.

Just received my TV and it was an easy set up. Great picture quality and easy to pair up with my soundbar and gaming console. This is a great upgrade from my previous LG TV.

This tv is bloody brilliant. It’s beyond smart - it’s astounding.
With the ThinQ app connected it makes use a breeze. We can’t get over all the features.
The picture is great and the sound is even better.
We want to replace all our TVs with this one!

Purchased this tv 5 days ago - great picture but I have a serious issue with the sound.
The sound is distorted, muffled, hollow & tinny - not what I expected from an LG tv. Have tried to adjust the settings but have not had much success. What do I need to do or is it possible that this tv is faulty ?
I am aware the sound on new thin tv's are not fantastic but seriously, the sound on this tv is dreadful.
Get yourself a sound bar or connect tv to audio system, yes thin tv's have small speakers, not much you can do, for last ten years tv's getting thinner and sound getting thinner too.
why so different reviews on the same TV.. 43inch.. one is terrible the other is best tv ever..??
Very few people take the time to write reviews for products they are happy with. The majority of reviews are written by people with first-hand experience with products having purchased them and wish to prevent others from purchasing something they know others will be unhappy with. It’s very easy for manufacturers and retailers to write positive reviews under fake identities. No one bothers to write negative reviews unless they’ve have genuinely had a negative experience.

You all ways have a 1-2 day no questions asked return, if your TV does not perform as you expected, I have taken TV's back in the past as got them home and thought what a piece of crap!! Now I make sure to check TV out properly in store as to see all features and ask them to play me something other than the "Demo" boosted color and contrast feed they play to make TV's look better in the store!!
I went to a "Proper product review" ( a reviewer that does not work for a specific company and is totally neutral when it comes to brand names!), so I was armed with all specs of the TV. I was fortunate enough to take TV home from store that day, avoiding extra courier handling. I am happy with the money for product quality ratio, and I believe the 43 inch is the same set, just smaller.

can i use the basic lg remote instead of the new one as my dad has limited sight to see the remote buttons on
