Bloody brilliant! Quiet, efficient, and versatile
This is our family's first clothes dryer. We never had much room for them, and since we rent, it's always been a pain to have windows and required vents for traditional dryers. And the traditional vented dryers are so energy inefficient, that they were not worth it. We've had this product for about a month, and we use it all the time - especially now going into autumn and winter. Some of the reviews suggested that it was really noisy, but we have not noticed that - it's about the same volume as our Samsung washing machine. The online ad wasn't ...Read more
entirely clear as to whether this thing had an external hose, but I was happy to see upon delivery that it in fact had this feature. I did have to go to Bunnings and get a $10 hose extension, as we've placed it beside our washing machine. The internal water container is excellent, it can probably do a couple of big loads. When it finishes it seems to beep, but I would prefer that it just switched off. I saw some dryers have special shoe drying racks - that would be a cool feature, which is not included here. I don't know if it's an ongoing thing, but by registering the product within 90 days, we got a free warranty extension to 5 years - that's amazing. So although it's more expensive than the conventional dryers, it'll likely save us money in the long run considering the high energy efficiency of the heat pump technology used in this model. We got it for $898 through Retravision, but I noticed later on that JB HiFi had it cheaper - so definitely shop around, easiest to do online.

Excellent product. Exceed expectations.
I've never owned a dryer before and have always been drying cloths using a commercial dryer. Prior to this purchase, I was under the impression that dryers at home are not effective and energy efficient. I purchased this dryer just before our son was born, as we did not want to use public dryers. This came out handy, as the purchase happened just before the Cov-19 pandemic.
I chose the Beko over the other popular brands, as the product came with a 5 year warranty (2 years standards+ 3 years extended when registered). Also the cost was much l...Read more
ower when compared to other popular brands. I purchased mine for $798. I dry all types of cloths from delicate baby cloths to woolen items. Although it has been only a few weeks, I've used the dryer over 10 times. The outcome has always been extremely satisfactory. The dryer works well with delicate baby ware and does not do any damage. I always use the extra dry option, which goes on for about 3 hours. I believe that this is fine for a heat pump dryer. The iron dry option take about an our less. For a full 3 hour cycle the dryer user about 0.8 Kilowatt Hours (Cost me less than 10 cents) which is pretty good. Given that it has a timer, I can set it to work during off peak hours (when energy cost is low). The dryer produces a noise which is pretty similar to what I've experienced when using commercial dryers. I would expect small scale dryers to be a bit quite. However, this does not bother me as much. The sound could only be hear when I am at the laundry or the room right next to it. So it would not disturb neighbors. The product also came with spares (a filter and an extra tube) The functionality/ information display is basic. However, it does whatever it is meat to do.

Budget heat pump dryer
works brilliantly. Beko backs this product with an extended warranty for five years which is a good plus point. As with most beko products, the display does not count down to the time left for the cycle to finish. Apart from this, there are no negatives.. plenty of drying cycles to select from.. 6 energy star rating and the water is drained directly via an external pipe OR through a compartment (that needs to be manually emptied). Best budget heat pump dryer around.

Great Value for money
After a lot of research, decided to settle on this model from Beko. Great value for money as compared to most name brands. Does the job as intended and comes with peace of mind with 5 years extended warranty for free! Also has a 6 star energy rating. Easy to use, reminds you when the filter needs to be cleaned. Water can be stored in its inbuilt container or can be directed out via an external pipe which is supplied. Pretty much plug and play.
