My pension payday is Thursday, but my Bendigo Bank account is credited on Wednesday afternoon. It is usually in by 2 pm, but on rare occasions, I have received it as early as noon. Do not count on that though. 2 pm Wednesday is a reliable time I can count on.

I would ask the bank for details. It may depend on where you live, ie what time zone. I am in Victoria.

I think the bank might be withholding your funds so you might have to ring them up.

I would recheck with Centrelink as in all my 20-odd years of being with the Bendigo Bank I have never known them to withhold money. I have known Centrelink to provide false and misleading information (and to deny it, then blame me for it, later).

My pay doesn't appear in my account until 3-4 days after my actual pay date, I'm just wondering why that is so? It's annoying the living hell out of me because I don't know when I'm getting paid and I'm running around like a headless chicken trying to get things done and paid for.

WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT LONGER THAN I SHOULD FOR MONEY I HAVE EARNT.

This is a new job and I've never had my pay going into my Bendigo account before I closed my account with another bank.

The money goes into your account as soon as Bendigo receives it, so they are not receiving it

I have experienced no delays in transactions from Centrelink to the Bendigo Bank. All the best with yours.

I usually find the Bendigo pay up to 24 hours before the date given by Centrelink. I would check after 2 pm (if you are in an Eastern state such as QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC or Tas. For places such as WA, SA and NT, I don't know -- you may need to adjust to 2 pm eastern time).

Money is in your account immediately when Bendigo receives it, there's no process in between, any problems, it's centrelink

Sorry for taking so long, I have not made a claim yet, I have posted on there Facebook page, what happened, not much response, now I have contacted channel 9 current affair, and things seem to have been noticed, we will see what happens

James V.

It takes a while because Bendigo has to carry out an investigation, they got my money back, took about 4 months, so that was good, and recently stopped another attempted fraud on my account. Banks get attacked 24/7 so they have a lot to do

Would appreciate who do I contact to discuss the high rise in the Credit Card Yearly Fee from $30 to $45. I have been with the Adelaide Bank for more than 20 years never had such a steep unjustified rise in Fees. Would like to take this matter futher? Who do I send my email to, please advise.

All banks are trying to suck profit out of customers.

Bendigo Bank and Adelaide Bank don't really know if they want to be community banks or compete with large banks therefore they have conflicting objectives.

They brag about what they give back to the community. One way of raising funds for the community is by charging higher fees, then giving some of it back.

Nothing is free. You always pay for it somehow, Bendigo community spirit is corporate spin for bored executives who want to engage in self gratification. There also seems to be lack security because management is community based.

We are already taxed by government. Why should we then be over charged so banks can make token gifts. I would just shop for better options.

Adelaide Bank sold a lot of bundled loans. Now Adelaide bank is linked to Bendigo I would steer clear of Bendigo. Selling bundled loans, in my opinion is a quick cash grab and could have long term implications if they turn sour.

I would do my home work first like getting other credit card rates from other banks then' I would go to your bank and personally put your complaint to the Bank manager in person, if you do not get satisfaction tell him you will take your business elsewhere citing the other banks rates, the reason its best to go to your local bank is that they know you as a long term customer and hopefully they will look after you.

complain all you want. It's not like they will care, nor will they do anything about it!
