Great vacuum best suction

published

This vcuum lives up to it's name and has a great option of removing pet hair from carpets furniture etc. The suction power is incredible and it is removing so much fine dirt particles from under the carpet it is incredible to see each time i vacuum. The house we bought was only 4 years old and we have currently lived in it for 3 so it is relatively newish carpet, but this vacuum cleaner has no problem with finding hidden dirt particles that others could only dream of. It is very easy to operate and empty the cylinder and you can actually see how much dirt and debris it is collecting while you vacuum.

Excellent

I have been using this for about 2 months now and I am very happy with it. Pet hair has been erased! I read the reviews before buying it and honestly, the people crying about how heavy and noisy it is and how the cord always gets in the way etc have obviously never used a kirby. I carried this vacuum out the store under 1 arm and compared to my old kirby it is very quiet. The salesman told me to make sure I set the floor height correctly as thick/long carpets can burn out the motor/ ruin the belts if set too low. The rubber head attachment works best for soft couches and cushions etc. The turbo head attachment is best for firm surfaces as the suction is very strong and sucks lose fabric up and stops the turbo working.

I CAN LIVE WITHOUT THIS

published

Bought this vacuum, used to vacuum only half a room, left wheel was about to fall off. Turbo brush does not work. All in all this cleaner is rubbish, the attachments are the 'cheapest' quality one could imagine. Took straight back to store where purchased, obtained refund, refused another. Bissell's Australia site quote these machines @$300 thereabouts, I did not pay anywhere near this, in saying that I did not definitely get anywhere near a vacuum cleaner that would last.
Nothing
Quality control?. Wheel about to fall off, turbo brush not working. Did not keep long enough for anything else to happen.

My problem solved!. Went and bought a Volta Upright Powerglide. Wonderful machine, solid components and a 2 year warranty.

I generally order my hepa filters from Aliepress where I can get 2 for less than $10 rather than paying almost $50 for one, in a local store

I am tossing up between this and the Bissell Healthy Home Vacuum.
I am leaning towards this because we have a lot of long dog hair, however I have been warned that this model has a poor dust seal and is not as good for people with allergies?

The only dust I have dealt with is from when you take out the collection thingy (the technical term for it) to empty it, it drops a bit of dust when you pull it out.

Thanks for that.
How is it for odour control? Can you smell when you have been vacuuming?
