Hi - I have a Bosch 25.2V Vacuum which I have had for three years and recently the vacuum is making an awful noise coming from the vacuum head. I have replaced the brush thinking that was the problem but this isn’t the case. The vacuum works well on the hard floor but not on carpet the noise is screeching. Could it be the little rollers? Nothing is abstracting or caught in the brush or head. Please help. Thank you.
Sorry, I am waiting for the battery to be replaced.
This answer is not correct! It’s not the battery that’s the problem. Please read my question than get back to me.
Hi Gina,
Thank you for your question. Considering the brush has been replaced and nothing is in the way, then you're correct to think it could possibly be the roller. In order to protect our customer's privacy, we're unable to discuss your personal information online. If you could email us your details, along with a small video of the noise coming from the vacuum to [email protected], quoting BSH14079 in the subject line. We'll have our technical team to review the clip for you, so they can advise what the possible issue could be. Kind regards Bosch Home Australia.
Having a very shortened battery charge - Bosch said to try to new power cord - it hasn't made any difference. does replacing the battery make a difference or even possible or should i just buy a new vacuum?
Yes, the battery is the problem - see other UK reviews!
Hi Anne,
Thanks for your question. Yes the battery can be replaced, however we would need to check with Bosch service if this is possible due to stock levels, and if there is a authorised service agent in your area to carry out the repairs. Please contact our team on 1300 369 744 (select option 1), and we'll investigate further for you. Kind regards Bosch Home Australia.
Hi. We have a Bosch Athlet 32.4V cordless vacuum that is less than a year old. It's been great but suddenly just won't work! The battery shows full charge but it just won't turn on! I also can't find the paperwork for it, but we moved into our house less than 11 months ago and bought it a couple of weeks later, so it's not very old! Can anyone help please?

Thank you, that's very kind of you, but I'm reluctant to call Australia from the UK for time difference and call charge reasons! The number on the bottom is: FD9910-0025749 and it's the Athlet 32.4V. If you're able to do anything with that, great!
Hi, I have read many of the posts on this site. My wife is having the same battery issue, lasting only several minutes if that. Shame, because it seriously has been a great vacuum cleaner, we do not want to get rid of it. By what I have read from your replies it is possible to purchase a new battery for our machine (Bosch Athlet 25.2 V lithium Power

Why does the red light keep coming on? It is empty and filters clean
I purchased my vac 8/08/18.. it is a great vac and has served me well. About a year ago the battery wasn’t charging, I phoned Bosh and they replaced the charger for me.. it has been charging ever since but has never really regained the charge it had previous to that problem, slowly over the past year the run time has gotten shorter, I can no longer get more than 2 mins on full power and about 4-6 mins on lower setting.. when I purchased this vac at Harvey Norman I paid for 24 mths.extended warranty so it is covered until 07/08/2022.. two questions… can the battery be replaced under warranty? And .. do I call Bosh regarding this or Harvey Norman?.. to renew battery or replace…
Many thanks
Dell

I purchased this vacuum just over 2 years ago and for the past year or so the battery life has slowly declined, now almost to the point of only lasting less than 5 mins and being very in practical to use.
Wondering if there is anyway to replace the battery pack in this device or if there is anyway to have it considered for warranty claim?
I don’t know but mines gone the same .. I went back to Harvey Norman today and as it’s still under warranty I’m taking it back tomorrow and they’re refunding for it.
They are a crap product

Bosch has been extremely helpful in resolving our problem. Excellent company for fair dealing.
My Bosch Athlet is around three years old. For the past year and a half the battery only lasts around 10 minutes. I have persevered with this because this is the best vacuum I’ve ever used - other than the short battery life. I have always unplugged the charger when it’s fully charged. I recommended it to a friend who bought one, I bought one for my daughter and I bought one for work around two years ago. Mine is the only one of the four having issues. I called Bosch about six months ago and they didn’t bother calling back. So disappointing. Can I get the batteries replaced?

I also have an issue with holding the charge. It’s been a great vacuum but now does not hold charge any longer than 5-6 mins. This has been going on for a while but I have been just putting up with it. I love the freedom it gives me but if I have bought the same old plug in the wall vacuum I would not have this problem. I also am extremely disappointed.
I have the same problem with Bosch Z00'0. Ever since I bought it (2 years ago) the battery has never lasted more than 10 minutes. It now lasts 2 if I'm lucky. Its been a huge disappoinment. Jenny

My Bosch Athlet vacuum has suddenly started juddering against the pile of the carpet when I pull it backwards when hoovering, making it hard to do the hoovering and leaving ugly lines on the carpet. I have had the vacuum for 4 years and it has never done this before. What is causing this and will it damage my carpet?

Why does my cordless flash red after seconds of turning it on? And also when I turn it off everything I just sucked up falls out
I have no idea. We do not have that problem. It sounds like you do not have the dust container plugged in properly. I suggest you read the manual or contact the supplyer or Bosch directly
How long it takes to be fully charge for The first time? I just have received the vacuum Readyy'y Serie 2 20 V max and is still charging since 2 hours ago....
I purchased my vacuum cleaner about 4 years ago.
The brushes in the head don't turn any more. It appears the little motor running the belt is not working or the belt is slipping. How do I fix thi?
Why has my vacuum cleaner stopped collecting the dirt in the canister but fills the back of where the canister clips on?
