Easy to use and low maintenance
This drip coffee machine has been a life saver. Its very easy to use and fast. Just fill the metal filter with grounded beans, fill the water press power and your on your way.
To clean just empty and wash the mesh filter and clean the jug. Easy as. Well worth the 69 bucks ish from The Good Guys Taren Point

Solid product, good value
Well designed product and easy to clean.
You can make a lot of coffee but the reocmmended ratio is a but weak. I suggest adding more coffee to produce a stronger brew.
The only downside really is that you must make a minimum 4 cups (according to the manual) which iw too much for one person. However I just put the jug in the fridge and use it for iced coffee.

Fresh coffee every morning.
Bought this as a gift for my partner and it's been amazing. It's perfect for morning coffee, since you can program it overnight so there's literally zero effort when you first get up - perfect for the kind of person who needs coffee as soon as they get up! The taste is vastly superior to instant, with no increase in effort. It's really easy to clean and because of the metal filter, it's only as expensive to run as the beans you buy. The cup capacity is a bit large for 2 people and the footprint isn't small, so I'd love to find the exact same thing but smaller one day, but other than that is solves a big problem in our house.

Makes a lovely cup and excellent value
Got this at 20% off from The Good Guys about a month ago and have been using it multiple times a day since. So easy to use and the stainless steel filter basket seems durable and saves having to use papers. Easy to use (I use the fill markings on the jug to fill the water required - side fill guide with the little red ball doesn't seem accurate at small quantities) and makes a hot steaming mug of coffee quickly. I use organic fair trade beans that I grind myself and to be perfectly honest I am enjoying my home coffee better than quite a few espresso cups available in the cafes of my local area. Definitely a great buy.

Just want a basic nice coffee?
This machine great, so much so I purchased on as a present. Drip filter with mesh holder, no filter bags needed. It rinses clean after use. Can be pre-programmed so you have not coffee as soon as you get up if you wish. Good for Dinner parties, keeps warm, not scalding. I use this every evening. After years of use, still working as new. Says 12 Cups, but if you use Mugs, appx 6 Mugs worth. Never had any problems with it and you can count on Breville

Mmmmm Fresh Coffee!!!
Absolutely love, love, love this wonderous little coffee machine. Great coffee every time and an easy to set timer for freshly brewed coffee when you get up...or get home! This machine always produces great tasting coffee, is easy to separate for proper cleaning and drying, and looks great in the kitchen.

Easy to use. Makes great coffee
Had it for about 3 years now, makes great coffee, keeps it hot. No complaints. Easy to clean. Inexpensive to purchase. The jug is a good size, the only downfall is that the glass is thin and I stress about breaking the jug every time I wash it . Apart from that, I would highly recommend.

Terrific
It’s almost three years since in purchased this machine at The Good Guys and haven’t had any issues at all and it still works as it did when first purchased. Excellent Product, would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a great cup of coffee. The ability to set the timer and have the coffee waiting for you in the morning is also a great feature.

For the coffee lover
We drink a lot of coffee and when you don't like spending money on pods this is great. So just buy the coffee. We set it up overnight to be ready in the morning. It is easy to clean. I use my used coffee for my plants and that is handy. One issue - the glass pot is very fragile. One drop and its gone.

Great Drip Coffee Machine
I use this machine every day with ease. It has an automated setting to make coffee in the morning and you don't need any paper filters. It is extremely easy to clean. I usually just run a full pot of water through once a week. The taste of the coffee is fantastic and saves so much money each year, not getting coffee at a cafe. I have found that rusts easily and my filter cup broke (but is still usable).

Great budget coffee maker
This is a very simple and easy to use coffee maker. It has always made the best tasting coffee at the perfect temperature. My only concern is to amount of plastic it is made from. It feels cheap but also limit using it due to BPA and other plastic toxins in so much contact with hot water.

I use it every day
I bought it 6 years ago and use it every day. Paid $50 in The Good Guys. Best spent $50. I like big mug of coffee every day and I get it with my drip coffee machine. However after I think 2-3 years of use the heating plate looks funny. Still works well but is harder to clean.

It's easy and quick
It is so easy to use. There is no need for a paper filter, it has a metal filter that all you need to do is clean it up after use and you will be ready for next time.
It is so simple and easy to use. Fill up with water, a few coffee spoons and play. That's it.
The only down I see is the water inlet that it is too small to pour water into it; especially if you are using its own jug.

Design flaw means spills
I don't use the auto function. I just want brewed coffee on call. This is quite a simple coffee machine but it has one major design flaw. When you lift the lid to add the water, any condensation that has gathered there drips down the back of the machine causing a puddle on the counter top. No one wants this. Also, because the machine is under some over-head cupboards, it's not easy to stick your head under the cupboard and see exactly where you're pouring the water into the chamber so that could use a re-design too.
Aside from that, the filt...Read more
er basket is easy to clean and the machine itself is foolproof. All you have to do is buy a coffee that suits your tastes. Coffee snobs complain about filter coffee but I happen to like it. I go out for flat whites but at home, I much prefer filter coffee to pod coffee (I have a pod machine too but it's been cast aside for this).Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Designed by people who don't use their own products
The one good feature:
1. The coffee filter/strainer is metal, rather than nylon, like some other brands.
The worst features:
1. The impossibly small inlet for pouring in water - resulting in water splashing onto your bench, or forcing you to use a funnel. Did the "industrial designer" who designed this actually try to use it himself?
2. The water level indicator which is impossible to easily see. The small dark red ball float in it has little contrast against the black background -—asked by a thick plastic rounded strip distorting the alrea...Read more

Great Coffee Maker
Excellent machine and love the auto function. I can set the timer to have the coffee brewing in the morning. Filter basket is easy to wash and the water capacity is 12 large cups. Easy to use and to figure out settings. Coffee is also made fast and is kept warm for 2 hours at a time with an auto off function.

Excellent coffee makers at a reasonable price
I am not a coffee lover. However, I bought this for my guests who come to visit. This has been a great help to me. Everyone loved the coffee it makes. It takes only 10 mins and the temperature is too perfect. It is very handy and very easy to clean as well.

Makes great coffee on a budget.
An easy machine to clean and use, makes great tasting coffee consistently if you get the measurements right (use a measuring spoon) and use quality ground coffee (yummy). No need for paper filters as it has a built in fine mesh metal filter, it will keep the jug hot for up to 2 hours with the built in element but it's usually all gone well before that here. It has a timer function which is easy to use and you can have the machine make coffee automatically at a specified time. For the price you can't get a better drip machine I paid $60 at Harvey Norman.

This is just perfect!
I am incredibly satisfied with the taste of my coffee. It is very easy to use and helps to keep the coffee warm for a long period of time (up to 45 minutes to 1 hour). Thus, it saves the hassle of having to re-brew the coffee for your entire family.

I bought a Breville coffee machine in May 2022. It worked fine and in December I had problems. The red light came on but coffee didn’t filter through. I took it back to the store and it was replaced. 2nd machine has been fine until this morning. Same problem with light on but it won’t make coffee! I’m quite disappointed as it’s a fantastic machine and coffee is excellent. Please let me know what needs doing!! It’s lockdown and the store is still closed! I’m contacting you from Namibia, so cannot call helpline. Thank you...... J Stafford

Sounds like your machine needs cleaning, it is blocked. Add two thirds water and one third white vinegar to tank. Place jug in position as if you are making coffee and just turn on. Let it drip through and then tip out jug. Run a tank of clean water through coffee machine and then it should be good to go, if not repeat process. Rinse out filter and jug to get rid of vinegar aftertaste. If you don't want to use vinegar you can purchase a descaling cleaner from the supermarket. You should clean your machine approx. every month, if you use daily.
Thank you. I will give it a try and let you know.
Good morning again. I have tried the cleaning process, but still nothing!!! Help please!!!!!
