Motor blew and now being charged to replace motor
The motor blew whilst making bliss balls, something that should be any easy task. I consider this to be a major failure, not general wear and tear. The whole set is now useless. I dislike wastage, for environmental reasons, so explored with the breville service team the options to fix it. I can take it to one of their service centres where I have to pay for it to be assessed to see whether it's something they'll cover. Or I can pay about $70 for a replacement motor (and they have run out of white replacement motors so it would be a different c...Read more
olour which doesn't match the rest of the set). I consider this to be completely unsatisfactory. Rather than pour more money into a poor product, I will be taking my money elsewhere and never purchasing another breville product. They are clearly not made to last and they have no real concern about repairing their defective products.

Used it three times, motor blew out. Not worth it!
Received it as a gift so didn't buy it out of need. Decided to use it for something, so I made protein bliss balls (literally, like 3 times) and then motor blew out. Sadly, the warranty period expired and it was too much admin to get a quote and have the motor repaired. Get a proper processor instead and save yourself the hassle.

Does what I need it to
I was concerned about this product due to mixed reviews but it does all the chopping, grating, slicing etc that I need it to. Having the beater & masher are really handy to. Its been 6 months of use & so far, so good. I did note the advice to make sure you have assembled the pieces properly and I think this has helped.

Not reccomended, don't buy it
Motor has stopped to work after 14 months, exactly 2 months after the warranty period ended .
I barely used it twice a month .
I called and emailed their customer service and best they can offer is a replacement part for 84.07$ .
Well reading other people reviews I undestand mine is not a rare case and this type of problems should be adressed by the manufacturer providing a solution because this is not tear and wear.
I am quite disappointed, product does the work well but without motor you can not do anything !

Motor blow out twice in a year
Purchased this product 13 months ago. After 6 months the motor blew out processing a basic ingredient. This was replaced under warranty and six months later the same thing has happened!! Because the product is now just out of original purchase date warranty Breville will only allow us to buy another at a discounted price.. No thanks!!!!!! Not spending another penny on Breville ever again. This is actually the third machine we've had problems with. The first time they conned me into purchasing another product for a discount and free delivery. This is obviously a scam of theirs where the products keep failing and people keep spending. I will be telling everyone I know about how bad Breville products are.

Stopped Working After 3rd Use
Loved the idea of this product but after only the third use it has died. Was mixing some mashed potato and it just stopped working and has not turned on since. Also a plastic piece that it inserts into it came off after first use. Sadly my mother-in-law gave it to me in August as a bday present and is currently in palliative care so I am not about to ask her for a receipt right now to return it. So disappointed.

Good all rounder multi purpose appliance for prep work, but only great for the casual cook.
Pros:
Super accurate slicing. Turns bananas into a deck of cards.
Great stick blender, the suction is strong but still good enough for you to maintain control. Makes the best pumpkin soup.
The potato masher also VERY useful at creating creamy mash.
Whisk is also great to use.
Great multi purpose all rounder for small to medium prep work.
Cons:
Only good for small prep work top medium prep work.
The motor is not a very powerful motor as it can handle soft foods such as meats and vegetables but nuts, hard candy etc will eventually bread the motor.

Excellent
I am really happy with this food processor, it does everything it says. I especially love how it minces meat and is really easy to clean. It mashes potatoes really well. It slices vegetables well, although the entry shoot is small you might have to cut the veggies in half. The grater works very well however the shoot can't grate the whole carrot or mozzarella cheese and parts of the food get stuck above the grater. The container holds 6 cups which is quiet a lot. For $150-200 (I got it for $130 on sale) it really is a great buy

Died after hardly any use
I was super excited to buy this product but after using my All In One less than 10 times is has stopped working. I was blending chickpeas to make hummus, what should be a simple task for a processor. I follow the instructions not blending a heavy load, blending for under 30 seconds and resting for a minute and it still died on me. It's great in theory but a complete waste of money if it can't handle simple tasks. I have only ever used it for dips & pumpkin soup so there is no way I have overworked it.
Avoid this product.

Died just 1 month outside warranty
I thought this functioned quite well and was in fact recommending to friends and bought one for my sister. But then the little jerk died mid-job and one week later is still not starting. Time to get a KitchenAid, my nan had hers for 60 years!! Not this plastic mechanism cheap stuff. It's abhorrent that products are so disposable and aren't made to last. Poor workmanship from businesses such as Breville has accelerated my 27-year-old consumerism mindset. Gee thanks, Breville. Don't buy this product. It will not last.

AWESOME!!! Use it almost every day!!
My old flatmate has one and she absolutely loved it. I looked online at similar other ones and none had all the features this Breville has at such a great price. I absolutely love the quad blade. This ensures that my food doesn't get over-processed at the bottom with large chunks at the top. The food gets chopped relatively evenly, and only takes a few seconds! I also absolutely LOVE the shredder. Again, seconds to shred anything from veggies to cheese and it's all uniform and beautiful. The hand blender is fantastic as well. I don't have a ble...Read more
nder, so I use this almost everyday to make a smoothie and it works wonderfully. I haven't used the masher, whisk, or slicer attachment yet, but I don't doubt that they would be fantastic as well. All of my previous experiences with Breville have been great, and I purchased mine at Harvey Norman for a very reasonable price. If you find it cheaper at another store, HN will match it which is great. It's easy to clean and take apart, and doesn't take up too much space on your bench or cupboard. I would definitely recommend this appliance to all of my friends and family.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Blew up after first time use
This is the second time I have had to take this back to store. First time it came with a broken part. Now it doesn't start. Terrible product from a well known brand. I will not be purchasing this product again. I don't think I will purchase any Breville products again.

Blew up TWICE
The first time that this machine blew up it was because the spinner in the lid to the food processor ceased. I took it back and got it replaced and then the motor blew up while i was processing oats.
Going to go back to get a refund to buy a different brand!
One benifit it was easy to change over instead of posting it away. But would prefer not to use this service twice.

Im sorry I wasted my money on this very expensive item
I purchased this and while I initially found it useful especially when making the individual sticky date pudding (delicious by the way) detailed in the instruction booklet, the chopping bowl cracked not long into its use. The spindle does not always sit flush or easily seamlessly into the motor. Trying to get a replacement bowl has been fraught with difficulty. I was fobbed off by customer services and given a local number to contact. They never returned my call which was frustrating.

Keep the receipt -Ideally AVOID this product even if it is offered to you free
AVOID - This is an absolutely terrible product and you should stay away from it. On the third occasion we have tried to use it the motor has power loss and intermittent power like it has loose cabling or something. After buying this to replace our old stick blender we are now burdened with having to take this piece of junk back to the store. We will be going for a full refund based on other users reviews below. Clearly this is a terrible terrible product. AVOID.

A disappointment!
I bought this because of the brand and its promise of a powerful motor. It made fantastic mayonnaise. Then I tries to chop carrots. Even made sure I didn't over run the motor. But after just a few seconds (literally) it stopped, smoked and then became very hot. The end. One hour this item was in my kitchen. Let's hope customer service is awesome.

Very disappointed
I have now had to take this back to the store for a replacement three times. I am about to leave for the fourth return and this time I will be asking for a full refund.
I found the masher was ok but as soon as you try to use the bowl, or the blade stickthe cheap plastic piece inside the main motor stick that attached to all the parts burns out. at the top. It is then incapable of turning anything.
I have only tried to mash chick peas and grind small batches of walnuts. I had moulinex for 9 years and gave it to a friend when I bought this...Read more
product. I wish I had never given it away. The little bowl while small handled everything and the stick was perfect for any task. I never had to take it back or have it serviced. I am a fan of the great Heston and trusted his advise on this product. The power is good but that cheap platic part inside a quality product is a nightmare. I have never had such a bad experience and at $199 i thought it would be ok. looks good. Compact. Good size bowl. Potato masher is great plastic parts inside main stick which connect to everything has burnt out twice and motor just stopped twice. Floowed all the intructions, am an experienced stick blender user and was really unhappy about this uneccessary failure. Four times! needs to be fixedSimilar opinion? Great product for most things, but does have limitations
I was loving this product for the first few weeks I used it. Great for slicing and dicing, the potato masher is fantastic, and the stick blender works great. However, when I went to use the food processor to make a dough (like suggested in the recipes), the motor blew up and smoke came out. From what I have read, I am not the only person this has happened to. I returned by product and received a replacement, which I am more than happy with - but I definitely do not think this unit is capable of being used as a food processor for dough like mixtures. I will never use it for that purpose again.
The stick blender attachment works really well
Using the food processor for dough was too much for the motor.

Good for 3 weeks
Lasted 3 weeks (4 uses) and then stopped working with a bang. It overheated lots chopping things up previously, which didn't give me much confidence. The store said a few others have been returned with the same issue. I read the reviews here, but though most seemed positive. Be warned.
Small size, compact and multi use.
Blew up within 3 weeks
