Could cry - such a bad purchase!
I selected this food processor because I thought it was time to replace my 20 year old Magimix. Such a mistake! With 15 or so other Breville appliances, I thought it would be a reliable choice but it has been quite the opposite. The inner bowl is poorly designed such that content just overflows into the larger bowl (requiring more washing up), the parts are difficult to clean and the manual says to avoid dishwasher, the lid is hard to close, the quad blade is a recipe to cut yourself when handling and, worst of all, the chopping/processing i...Read more
s highly uneven. A simple task of blending soaked cashews delivered a pulpy mess. The machine also takes nowhere near the advertised volume and, while the handle may look swish closing to the front, it completely obstructs vision into the machine, so you have to keep opening the very tight lid to check on progress. I suspect it was an artist and not a cook who took the lead on developing this machine. I have fished the old Magimix out of the rubbish and will be taking this Breville appliance to the Salvos. Thanks for wasting my money Breville. Am so mad.

I wish I still had my old National food processor
I reviewed this processor under a different model number - BFP800 - but, in looking for a part to replace the lid that shattered when I dropped it about 40cm, found similar reviews for this BPF680 and for the BFP660. Similar issues with both those models, would perhaps be useful to collate them under one product name...
This seemed like a reasonable replacement for the amazing second hand processor we got from someone getting rid of their old one at at my husband's work. My father in law bought the Breville for us so it didn't seem polite to c...Read more

What a Wizz
What a great machine, does many functions. Easy to use and a blade for every Chopping need. This comes with a great storage holder for the blades. Does not use up a lot of Bench space due to its compactness, and easy to clean.

Not so impressed
Given some positive reviews on Breville Food processors I decided on the Wizz plus because of the smaller mixing bowl included and the seperate storage unit. I cant say this unit is not cumbersome and I find having to wash most parts by hand annoying. The chute has to be engaged before the unit will operate which is a good safety measure but I find the chutes a very tight fit and difficult to remove. I would choose differently if I had my time again. Disappointed

Waste of money :(
Today was my first time using my brand new Breville Kitchen Wizz (BFP680) processor and I have to say, I wont be using it again. I will return it a.s.a.p. I usually love Breville appliances! I have a kettle, toaster, blender and hand mixer, all of which are fantastic & going strong after many years. This appliance however, is terrible. I attempted to blend 2 cups of pitted, soaked dates with 1/2 cup of coconut flakes using the quad blade. The machine struggled and started to smell of burning after only 30 seconds of pulsing. After this I decide...Read more
d to use the small bowl to make desiccated coconut out of the flakes I had. The coconut kept dying out of the small bowl and into the larger one, and was barely able to chop the coconut. I am severely disappointed.Purchased in July 2021 at David Jones Online Store for A$404.10.

Neat and Reliable
I bought the Kitchen Wizz 11 PLUS specifically because it comes with a smaller bowl that has it's own blade, which is what I used most of the time to make dips or pulse one vegetable. My favourite thing is that it packs up nicely- there is a case for all the different blades, and the small bowl and blade sit inside the larger bowl.
While I appreciate the variety of chute sizes, it annoying to have to wash every one of them, as the base of each gets dirty. Some of the parts are hard to clean due to their shape, so I recommend rinsing in hot wate...Read more

Overpriced garbage and a total waste of money
Bought this one during the boxing day at David Jones online store after reading a couple of reviews online (not many of them available unfortunately).
This food processor has a powerful motor, but is completely useless. Starting from overheating and producing terrible smell while operating. Tried a number of recipes and none of them went smoothly. I had to interfere every few minutes to scrap food out of container walls and restart the process. Food is also overheating while processing and this results in sub-optimal outcome.

deos, as expected, never said that during dough mixing "a food processor might start running slower than a normal operating speed and when that happens you should not let it go this way for longer than a minute" as described in user manual. Slicing, shredding and chopping of lightweight products works fine, but if you try to process nuts or anything similar results will be disappointing, in which case, given the price tag of the device is a complete waste of your money. Luckily I have returned it after a week of usage and numerous failed attempts at making various recipes.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

A good reliable Blender
It has a strong motor and because of this is a bit heavy, there is a small insert for small amount of food for processing. It has various attachments for slicing, cutting and blending, be careful the blades are very sharp and its easy to cut yourself when handling.
Like all these machines there are limitations on processing hard items like ice and block cheese.
Cleaning is a fiddly and be careful not to drop anything.
Processes food without any problems.
