I have the Smart Grill Pro Stainless Steel BGR804bss when I was grilling vegetables - tomatoes (a lot of liquid), the griller shut off. It sounded like a safety switch??? It now does not work at all. Is there any way to reset?

i have not had this happen to me, i think you will need to contact the manufacturer. Or maybe youtube / google it

Do I have to have temperature prob for my set temperature to display?

For all temperature settings to operate I've noticed that I always need to plug in the probe first, even if I'm not intending to use it.

sorry, i'm not sure about this problem. Might have to contact Breville
One reason might be that the probe needs to be plugged into the side for the grill to operate, even if you are not using the probe.

Can u cook chicken kebabs on a grevillea smart grill?

Yes you can. I really love this grill. I use a piece of baking paper on the bottom to make the cooking easier. Making sure to heat the grill to its highest first before putting the kebabs on
