Breville Smart Waffle BWM620 (2 Slices)
Love it
After lots of research - I bought this waffle maker and I have to say, it is excellent.
It churns out perfect waffle after perfect waffle.
I'm still experimenting with recipes - but the waffle maker itself is definitely a winner. If you love waffles and you can afford it - this is worth the investment.

Perfect waffles - consistently
I used to travel a lot with work and stayed at some very nice hotels, where I'd often have the breakfast bar chef make me waffles for brekkie. So, just establishing I know a good waffle when I eat one.
The Breville BWM620 makes waffles as good as I've ever eaten, anywhere. Simply; and time after time. I've yet to make a dud. The classic waffles it makes are nice; the Belgian waffles are excellent; and the Breville's buttermilk waffles are superb. Light and soft on the inside and golden brown and slightly crisp on the outside.

asy to use and simple to clean. The design is quite beautiful; one of those products you look at and think "Yep, this is a quality item". As it should be for the price. Yeah, that price. It is good value for money, you do get what you pay for, but you have to like waffles. If you do, and the idea of perfect waffles every time is appealing, then look no further - the Breville BWM620 or 640 is for you.1 comment

Fantastic Waffle Maker
After being diagnosed with gluten intolerance due to a thyroid disease, I noticed that gluten free waffles were almost next to impossible to buy at the supermarket/bakeries, etc. I am waffle fiend and love nothing more than waffles for breakfast, dessert or even chicken & waffles for dinner. I decided if I want gluten free waffles I would have to make my own and purchased this little beauty. I would of given it 5 stars if not for the high price, but I don't regret purchasing it. It makes the most fluffy, thick and crispy waffles (gluten free an...Read more
d regular for the non intolerant people). Has multiple settings for different waffle types and a manual mode for perfect cooking, easy to clean and is pretty much goof-proof (I have not burnt a waffle yet). Highly recommended!

How can I prevent belgian waffles from burning on the outside and undercooking on the inside? I have had my waffle maker for just over two years and for the bulk of this time the maker worked beautifully. However, for the last few months our belgian waffles are either burnt on the outside or undercooked on the inside. Is there something I can do to fix this? I purchased mine in Canada so not sure where I can send this to to fix it but by now it's certainly out of warranty.

What's the difference between the 620 and 640? Is it just that the 640 makes 4 waffles? Can I make potato waffles with both?

The 620 seems to be discontinued in australia. I love the 640 (which was expensive until my wife found frequent flier points). Not sure what potato waffles are/
