Always lasts past my next service year

published

These tyres are great and have lasted me past 2 car services and 1 brake change. The grip on the road feels like any normal tyre should. They clean up nicely too and the logos and stamps on them don't stand out as my last set looked horrific. So all round good tyre

Great tyres for a mild car

published

I've had these re003s for a good 6 months now and they are holding up well, i have them on a falcon (non turbo) so i'm not using much of the potential however i have tested them out, they have a good wet grip considering they don't like the cold much and the dry grip is awesome, i have a friend that has the same car as me but with 3 times the power and they hold up very well! considering how soft of a compound they are, they haven't worn that much!

Overall very good tyres for the price

published

2011 Mazda6 Touring Hatch, Stock tyres were Potenza (previous generation) RE050 (1 still on the full spec spare), I got 4 215/50/R17 Adrenalin RE003 from Costco for about 164/ea (buy 3 get 4th free).

Pros: Good grid, especially in wet. Good ride quality and comfort, road noise is acceptable, increases when reaches higher speed >80km/h.

Cons: Tyres are towards the soft end, can wear out pretty quick (on FWD) if you often floor and do spirited driving, and don't do routine wheel alignment (A$66).

Do a rotation at least once every 6 month did help to to max its lifespan.

Car feels totally different!

published

Bought these off Bob janes when they had their buy 3 get 1 free. I always used to go for the cheapest tyre. These cost a little more than normal but you only live once and I decided to give them a go and wow was I amazed.
They hug the road like anything. Handles well in the wet. Worth every penny and would highly recommend them. I'm soo glad I spent a little bit more and tried these out. I don't think I would go back to cheap tyres again.

Definitely better to wait for the 4 for 3 deals if you get this tyre (if you can)!

Good wet and dry performance.

published

Was previously on Federal 595RSR's and these were a significant improvement, more grip in tight corners, less squeal. Previously on certain off camber roundabouts in the wet the rear end would step out which can be unnerving. Decent performance on track although didn't heat up as much as I would have liked.

This is perfect, my car need it

I have change the tyres from K Mart. The salesman told me this brand is durable and suitable for my car, and also the price is good. At that time with a special deal. I got a 6 months road side service. It is very important to change the Tyre when the weather is wet. I lucky to have this one.

GOOD PICK !!!!

published

I bought all new tyres for my car last month. After searching and checking all the reviews and the possible options with best price tag. I found the bridgestone tyres best deal. Hope it will give the better mileage on highways. The drive is more smooth and grip is better than my old tyres.

Best Tyres

published

These tyres are great. Minimal noise when travelling on the highway and on coarse surfaces, and these have a lot more grip especially in the dry, and are also pretty good in the wet. Far superior perfomance in these tyres compared to my other Goodyear. Would definitely recommend even if they are a little more pricey.

I wont buy any other tyre

published

These tyres are faultless. I've had them on four different cars now, and nothing comes close to their performance.
Whether it's wet or dry, these tyres are reliable, and I always feel safe on them.
They aren't the cheapest tyre on the market, but we are getting superb mileage out of them anyway, and quite often, Bridgestone will give you the 4th tyre free if you buy a full set.
Honestly, whether its for a performance car or just a car to drive your family around on, these are the best tyres I have found on the market. They look good, they are quiet, they perform excellently, and they have a good life span.

Great grip, wait for a special

published

I have these tyres on my 2014 V8 Adventra and on my 2016 VF2 SSV commodore. The grip is great, roadnoise is minimal. If you can wait for a buy 3 get one free deal or the current (feb'18) $100 off that helps as they arent cheap. 16"x4 was $750, 19"x4 was $1300

Great Tyres - I can't believe i wasn't using semi slicks before

published

Got these tyres a couple of moths ago during last 4 for 3 sale. Let me tell you - best purchase ever! these tyres have grip for days on my s2k. You just keep turning in and accelerating through corners and it keeps gripping. Worth every penny. Worth checking out Costco for these tyres if you're tight on coin, otherwise Bridgestone Select has puncture insurance free of charge.

When thinking tyres think Bridgestone potenza

published

We had these on since new we got 55,000 kms out of them
We replace with the same brand as they're very durable tyres that grip no matter the conditions.
Very quite tyres with very little road noise
Would certainly recommend to friend and family.
Was a little annoyed when they were offered buy 3 get 1 free which worked out higher then normal price.

Performance tyres without too much dollars

published

My last set of tyres was a bit noisy on road that has course surface. Since the change to Bridgestone R003 I have enjoyed more driving on long highway drive - much more silent. I have also find the performance on wet surfaces to be better than my previous tyres. For the price, quite satisfied.

If you care about performance you cant go wrong with these tyres.
Great grip in the wet and very good acceleration.
Obsviously more expensive than the econo tyres but you are buying this to save money.

Best overall tyre

published

Bought these as a set of 4 after my Super sports wore out. Love these tyres! They are excellent in grip in hot or rain and the low profile sits nicely with my car. For the price i paid, it is definitely worth it. I would recommend waiting for a buy 3 get 1 free deals that seem to be running sometime each year

I got them on the 3 get 4th free promotion, excellent grip in all conditions, minimal wear too also got frequent free check ups on them from the dealer to make sure they were in top condition since the sale. Also they look the part too real aggressive. Will probably only use these solely from here on in.

What pressure do I inflate them to potenza re003

1 answer
Wetwork65
Wetwork65

As much as you can! Seriously, I use 39 psi on my Commodores, which seems to be the optimum for handling, braking and grip. These are a high performance tyre so don'r go for a soft ride.
Ride is another matter at this pressure - but I prefer the cars to handle.
Lighter car maybe lower pressure but always above 32 psi or they won't perform.

what is the price 4 off bridgestone potenza re003 - 205, 50, R17 -fitted balanced

I would expect around $200 per tyre, though Bridgestone regularly has 4th tyre free promotions / cashback promotions. Costco usually is approx $10-$15 per tyre cheaper + advertises the Bridgestone retail promotions too.

Assuming you are running the standard 255/50R19 Tyres, the Bridgestone Alenza A001 has been getting excellent reviews on this website - especially how quiet and grippy they are.
The Continental UltraContact® UC6 is also a good option.
