So Far So Good!
Consultation in home with George from Frankston store was very good and he was very helpful.
Price was great. Blinds were made and installed on time!! :) George was in contact with us all the way. Excellent service. After completion even received a courtesy call! Would recommend Carpet Call.

Great service - great new blinds
All staff from initial store staff to service manager who came and measured and helped choose colours, to installer were efficient and extremely helpful. All timelines quoted were totally accurate and communication throughout process was excellent. Plus the blinds are of a high quality, mechanisms work well and they look good in the rooms. The price quoted was less than competitors plus our old Venetian blinds were taken away for us. We are totally satisfied with all aspects of having the new blinds installed. Highly recommend the service.

Roger was great. Shame he was missing a pelmet.
The only disappointment was that the pelmet was not available at the time of the install. This wasn't Rogers's fault seems the manufacturer or warehouse let him down. He fixed it all later anyway

Disgraceful
I was sold incorrect blinds and they were delivered incorrectly numerous times. I then had one installed when I wasn’t home and it’s completely wrong. I have attempted to call them and email them to have this rectified for over 12 months but the managers continue changing, they promise call backs and don’t...it’s just horrible. Now I’m stuck with a horrible blind in a newly renovated home that looks rediculous. Next step is NCAT as a result of their shocking service. Would highly recommend going elsewhere.

Damaged products. Didn't bring all items. -10 customer service
Pathetic after sales service.
Carpet call decided to start selling blinds and shutters. Maybe they need to stay with what they know. I purchased brand new shutters from my house. They took almost 3 months to come in and when they landed, another week or 2 to book in and when they were installed, were faulty/damaged and even short! Yes short didn't bring the whole order. I advised them and they admitted that the order wasn't put in, and what do they say, ohh you need to just wait another 7 weeks on express order and we will get them for you. and...Read more

service. if im unhappy with the way this is being handled, I will contact my client who works for top 2 TV channels and then we can speak publicly.. im speaking from anger, because even the last conversation I had with your operations manager he said will update me and sort this out, but still no calls. and he also wanted to blame the "supplier" and wanted me to await their procedures also.. Terrible experience
Paid for wooden shutters to be installed with final payment made at the beginning of November. 6 months and 3 attempts later the job is finally completed. The sales rep that I dealt with basically didn’t want to know about my job after I made the final payment. First attempt failed as the wrong sized shutters were delivered, the second attempt the shutters were scratched and damaged and the third attempt almost failed due to wrong sizing again. The final attempt only worked as I got involved in finding a solution. I thought I’d be due some compensation but no luck. By far the most incompetent group I’ve had to deal with.

So many problems!
Really disappointed!!!!
1 blind too short, bubbling on pelmet, taking forever to have replaced, charged for blind that was their mistake.
Would never recommend this company Communication terrible! Installer swearing, yelling and ordering his assistant !

Blinds from Carpet Call (CarpetCall) and Manufacturer, Total Window Concepts. No Customer Service or Quality Control
Three window blinds ordered.
1. Quality NOT what was seen on sample.
2. Beware. 100% payment required BEFORE installation -- never experienced this in Germany or the USA. Request for compensation for the issues (below) rejected.
2. First arrival: all blinds, after TWO window measurements, did not fit. Off to be remanufactured
3. Second arrival: Cords were on the wrong side. Off to be remediated.
4. Third arrival: two blinds OK but on one, the bottom slat doesn't close. Kitchen one sagging so off to be "remanufactured"

Also note that while I may have asked for my money back, I would have thought an offer by CarpetCall of at least a good discount for the low quality, lack of communication and six-month inconvenience would have been fair and appropriate. Appalling Service
I ordered the blinds and paid 50% in October 2018. I emailed after one month to be advised of the progress. I was advised in December the blinds were in stock. On 3rd January the installer arrived and stated the blinds fittings were incorrect and would be back in three days.
No communication from Carpet Call. I contacted the installer again and arranged for the blinds to be installed on 8th February.
The blinds were installed and advised the ceiling gyprock was damaged and a builder would come and rectify on the Saturday. No call, no builder.

Do not order roller blinds. Quality poor
After less than 9 months use, one side of one blind started to fray due to rubbing of the chain. I was told this was not under warranty and it was due to the closeness of the wall. The other 3 blinds are fine. I would not have chosen this blind if I was warned of this happening. Carpet Call will not replace the blind and I was not given the warranty with the invoice. I am very disappointed of this service (as they are not going to replace the blind) and will not deal with this company again, as in my opinion, these are poor quality blinds/material.

Deplorable service
Ordered shutters and remote roller blinds in SEPTEMBER, was promised all would be completed and installed by NOVEMBER. The shutters were installed in DECEMBER but the blinds were nowhere to be found. Rang head office to find out they had finally arrived and they would call me back and inform me of installation date. No call back! Very poor service
Ordered blinds and shutters 10 weeks back paid half of the amount as deposit. Whenever I ring them for updates no one gave me a definite answer. 4 weeks back they told me that the order will be ready in a week and a half. Later when I want to have it installed they are telling that the order has not been placed for the shutters and they sent someone to measure my windows again. Blinds were not even ready and told that it will take another 10 days and is not installed yet. Now I have to put the curtain sheets from spotlight to have privacy.

Terrible customer service
Have placed an order for blinds over 6 weeks ago. Still haven’t received any blinds when I was told it would be 2-3 weeks. Getting a hold of anyone in head office is near impossible. And when you do get through no one has answers or they say they will call you back then don’t. I’ve been told each week my blinds will be ready in a week and each week no progress. Do not get your blinds through carpet call. Use a reputable blinds company that know what they are doing.

Worst company
This company are an absolute nightmare!! They have made our renovation experience the worst.
The sales person harassed me for payment then disappeared, when it came to installation the installer told several lies and failed to show up several times.
Once the installer did show up the blinds have been put on the wrong way and the floors have been laid the wrong way also.
Please people do not waste time, money and energy on these people. Such a disgrace of a company !!!!

mplicated the installation however that was the condition of your floor and it did need fixing. Our installer has offered to install your skirting boards free of charge as a good will gesture. We have been since advised there is a bit of bounce in one section of the floor which we will get our installer to inspect. In regard to the blinds, one of the rollers has simply flipped over and we will send out our installer to show you how to use them correctly.For you information:

Very happy with Carpet Call - there was a good range of colours to choose from and the blinds are a nice addition to the room. The blinds are good quality and reasonably priced too!
