Absolutely no customer service. Completely revolting!
Our experience with Carpet Call has been most disappointing. The sales representative was prompt in arranging for a consultation, however everything just went downhill after the sale was made. At the initial consultation appointment, we have indicated clearly that our move in date and we had made the order of blinds a priority as we understood that the order of blinds will take a few weeks.

obtain accurate measurement. This process is time consuming and inefficient when the sales rep already took measurement at the initial consultation in order to provide a quote. The second disappointment came when the sales rep did not follow up with the arrangement of second measurement! We waited for ONE week and there was no follow up call from the sales rep. He has apparently forgotten about the customer after making the sales. We, as customers, have been dropped just like that after he took 50% deposit payment. We had to take the initiative and be proactive in contacting the sales rep to enquire about this matter and reminded him again of our move in date. His reply was another disappointment! He wrote that the installer would contact us at his earliest convenience! Are customers supposed to wait around till it is convenient for Carpet Call to contact us regarding installation?? In his reply, he also indicated that temporary blinds would be provided should actual blinds could not be installed in time for our move. The third disappointment was that the actual measurement only took place 8 days after our initial consultation appointment with the sales rep!! As a result, the order was delayed unnecessary. The disappointments did not end here. The fourth disappointment was that we again needed to take the initiative to contact the sales rep two days before our move and enquired about the installation of temporary blinds which he has promised at the initial consultation and in a follow up text message. His text reply was to ask us to call the head office ourselves for this arrangement! The after sales follow up service has been almost non-existent!! As customers, we not only had to be proactive in following up but were bounced around. There was absolutely no proper follow-through process to ensure that customers get the products they have paid for and the service they deserve. We contacted Carpet Call Head Office and was informed by the Head Office that the Head Office did not provide temporary blinds (even though it was stated in the invoice) and the sales rep had to make that arrangement himself. This sales rep has obviously taken us for a ride and did not inspire trust. He has also in one of text messages implied that we were the one who did not inform him of our move in date when we had in actual fact mentioned to him our move in date THRICE. The fifth disappointment came when this sales rep showed up himself with a fellow worker at our property, cut up some canvas and pasted the canvases on our windows. There was no temporary blinds that he promised when he was trying to clinch the sale! A day after the temporary canvas covers were pasted, we again had to contact him to enquire about the installation of actual blinds. We were earlier informed by the Head Office when we called them about our order that the installation of actual blinds would take place on 24 Sep. We knew by now that no one from Carpet Call was going to contact us to confirm the installation appointment. We therefore had to send the sales rep another text message. He replied to say that we should contact the operation manager and the installation schedule was out of his control. In the first place, who is the operation manager? As customers, do we need to know the organisation chart of Carpet Call and follow up with multiple departments and staff to get our order?? His reply was so clear to us that he was no longer going to follow up with the customers and once again pushed us around. We called Carpet Call Head Office to register our dissatisfaction, frustration and dismay. But at this point, we are still WAITING for Carpet Call installer to contact us at his convenience and hope for the installation to eventually take place according to his schedule!!! This experience with Carpet Call has been completely revolting. Carpet Call does not inspire trust and there is absolutely no customer service provided for customers after the sales is clinched and deposit taken.

Excellent Service at a fantastic price
Just received our plantation shutters. After a lot of research and quotes from other suppliers, Carpet Call gave us the best price and were really helpful in measuring and helping us select the colors and details etc. Definitely recommend it. Cheers!

Very disappointed
Paid 50% deposit for our Plantation Shuters 27/4/18 finally had our shutters installed on the 19th July 18.
After numerous emails requesting a receipt for our first payment we finally received it on the 14/7/18 On installation day the installer advised that the measurements for our slider door was correct but the incorrect size was ordered. We now have to wait another 6 to 8 weeks for this shutter to be installed.
If we had not of paid our 50% deposit then our final payment before installation we would have cancelled our order. Not one pers...Read more
on from Carpet Call has rang us to apologise for the error or offer us any compensation for the inconvenience of the error. I have sent two messages to the area manager with no reply. Would not deal with or recommend Carpet Call.

Service with Style and Smile
Most awesome service from Kaylum Martin . He met us onsite of our new home to help us choose what furnishings to put on our windows. He came in and was very helpful with not only the design of the blinds but also the colour of the blinds we wanted similar colors to what our internal wall colors were. He picked out a few for us and had made his recommendations and we were happy with what he recommended. We highly recommend Kaylum and he had given a very good first impression. Great service

Paid a deposit still haven’t received anything
Service is terrible. Paid a deposit in Jan this year didn’t hear anything till I called back several times. When I spoke to head of operations in blinds I was told that I should be the one calling and chasing up. I was angry as I paid for a service and didn’t receive the service.

Top Blinds and Excellent Service
Fabulous service delivered throughout the entire process. From initial salesperson Georgi to Jade the Operations Manager, and the installers. We received extremely professional, efficient service with excellent communication. Our plantation shutters looks amazing and arrived earlier than expected.

They look exceptional in our rooms.
Love them, the blades are easily adjusted to let in the light and easy to open should I need to open the windows. They are well finished and look brilliant in the lounge and study. Great customer service from Jade and great installation service by Ted.

Fantastic outcome
Harley (Mega Blinds) spent many hours with us over several appointments to ensure we were 100% certain with our selections. Together we all came up and carried out many ideas to produce the final configuration across 25 solar and blackout roller blinds. This is our first home so it was important to us to know attention to detail really mattered. Nick (installer) was also excellent for ensuring that all blinds were installed perfectly. Thanks guys.

Ordered shutters on 3rd January. Many excuses later (Chinese new year What tha? I thought it happened every year / Gliche in system - we forgot) shutters installed 23rd March. Called many times rep wouldn't return call.

Carpet call at Artarmon were terrific. Massi who organised my blinds was amazing. Such a gentleman. Unbelievable discount too as i had done flooring the year before. I went for the most expensive blind type in a beautiful beach sand colour. Much sleeker and makes my apartment much more classier. Also massi is tremendous at advice as i was a bit unaware of colours. In fact they helped me choose the floor colour as well, so both blend beautifully together. Installation was absolutely professional with two fellows totally focused on the job. No messing about. I am truly impressed and would certainly recommend this team. Price was very reasonable and naturally the quality is exceptional. Thanks guys at artarmon.

Highly Recommended!
I had some PVC venetian blinds installed for my lounge and bedroom windows and could not be happier with the results. The measurements were spot on and and the blinds were installed perfectly. The Sales Rep (Degen) and installer (Nick) were friendly and true professionals. They truly are 'the experts in the trade'.
