No customer service rude
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI work in a retail industry myself and if my staff spoke and berated a customer they would get a warning. Staff at chemist warehouse Elizabeth did exactly that. Poor service and I will NEVER recommend cheap or not.. not only was I berated by one at checkout the other check out person joined in. Left the store
Beware Unfair Exchange/Return Policy
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreWent to exchange an Ariana Grande spray and studex earrings that were Xmas gifts for my daughter and were purchased on 17/12/22-they would not let me return the items, get a gift card for the value or even exchange for a similar item because the policy was 7 days., and NO extension for Xmas gifts. Very unrealistic and unfair to most consumers, especially given every other store has a FAIR policy of 30 days+, and extended returns during the Xmas period. I will no longer be purchasing anything other than prescription/vitamins fir now on.
Rip off…and long queues
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreRip off…long queues…plenty of staff to stock shelf’s but not for customers.
Appalling customer service
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI bought a Waterpik water flosser which didn't properly remove particles of food which is obviously the key function of such a device. I went back to the store where I purchased them from and they refused to refund me in direct contradiction of Australian consumer law They argued with me and said it was not faulty so no refund. The manager was quite belligerent in his approach. I will not be dealing with Chemist Warehouse again.

Unbelievably slow and they don't care how long you wait.
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreAttended Point Cook store to have prescription filled. Was told 10 minute wait. 45 minutes later still nothing. Only when I asked for my script back did they wake up and want to do something.
Can’t return unopened perfume
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreWhat a joke, just went into chemist warehouse to buy $250 + worth of ladies fragrances for my wife & daughter, only to be told they are “non-refundable” items. WTH? And they don’t even offer a store credit, if the recipient of the gift wants to change it. At first the girl told me its at the “managers discretion”. But when I asked to speak to the manager, so I knew where I stood before I spent the money, the girl came back (without the manager) and said no, there are no refunds on fragrances.
I cannot see why you wouldn’t be able to at least o
... Read moreffer a lousy store credit on an unopened fragrance, when a man is buying it for a woman, and unsure whether or not she’ll actually like it. Get your collective crap together Chemist Warehouse, & stop telling customers two different versions of your policy. Clearly hoping customers won’t find out they can’t return it, until after they’ve already paid. Anyway, their loss was their competitor’s gain. Called a major dept store that was more expensive. And not only did they offer to match Chemist Warehouse’s price, but offered a full refund on any unopened fragrance. Maybe instead of advertising how great your customer service is, here’s a tip, actually provide great customer service.
Dodgy.
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI have bought script medicine from Hornsby store for years. 3 of the last 4 scripts have attempted to double charge me. Once is ok but not 3/4. On one occasion my wife was even accused us of stealing a second lot of medicine. This is on a centrelink medical card and as I only get scripts for two medicines monthly and have never asked for double. Yet they want to charge for two of each. Once is an accident but not 3 times. Never again - I will NEVER go there - suggest for those who are not financially savvy for whatever reason or not capable - they are being ripped off monthly and this store at least should be investigated because this is a criminal activity. They have lost me for good.
It is as bad as what other people said about them
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI bought a twin bottle of Fess spray and they are faulty bottles. Do not spray a lot but leak the rest from the edge of the bottles. I went back to the store where I purchased them from and they refused to refund me. They argued with me and said they are not faulty so no refund. I spent a lot of money in that store, purchased daily medicine and all other food supplements. I always doubt why some of their prices are lower, especially perfume. Then when the news of them selling fake perfume broke out on the headline it confirmed my suspicions. I will never go back to chemist warehouse ever. Service is terrible and doesn’t honor their refund policy. Their real refund policy is “ No refund at all, don’t even try “.
Given wrong Products
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI went to Chemist Warehouse last Thursday 15.12.around Lunchtime. I had 2 online scripts from my Doctor. Like usually after 20 minutes I can pick it up. This was new medication, I check it and found it strange because the names didn’t match the script. So I asked the person behind the counter and after a while the chemist came and said me, you got the wrong medication, changed it and that was it. 1 of the wrong things was weight loss pills and the other one was Antibiotics.
I was horrified that no one cared at all, it might have killed me I might have been allergic, scary when the Government wants to let chemists do a G P job, very scary.

Go in 2 weeks later to see how I have gone up the list. Told not on list and now waitlist is too long to be added. Too bad too sad
Tarneit Garden Chemist Warehiuse employees and owner and Decurity Guard are very rude
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreTarneit Garden Chemist Warehiuse employees and owner and Security Guard are very rude, please don't go to Tarneit Garden Chemist Warehouse
Macquarie Field store
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI have heard from others, but it happened to me. I tried to have a document certified by a Chemist, been passed the buck from 1/Terminus Street Liverpool (we still waiting for the stamp), to 2/Orange Grove Liverpool (no, we don't do it here), to 3/Casula (you have to come back next week)...
Macquarie Field is the only store willing to help, thank you.
Everyone should buy at Macquarie Field store but not the other mentioned above.

This store employs the rudest and most miserable people
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreNot only does it take ages to get a prescription, the know it all older staff are super rude and treat you like a junkie.
Not all staff are awful but the ones who are have more than enough to make up for others (the non chemistry older lady with grey hair at Whitfords is downright nasty)
I'd rather pay more and go to Terry White where the staff are nice.
Terrible customer service if you have a faulty product
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreBought Si Passione for my birthday... used it a few times then it wouldn't spray anymore.
Took it back for an exchange and was told no on the basis of 'misuse'!
Was given a customer number and told sorry.
Don't waste your money in their cheap perfume.
I would've rather have gone to Myer and I will from now on.
Olympea Perfume
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreJabeen from The Chemist Wearhouse in Hampton Park was very patient and helpful on the phone in spite of a great deal of disturbance. Thank you, Jabeen
Fake Perfume
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI purchased Jadore perfume in Pitt St Mall store in October 2022 for $180! I have worn Jadore for years. The perfume I purchased is not the real thing it is fake and stinks ! After reading all the complaints on this site that you haven’t got a hope in hell getting any satisfaction/refund from chemist warehouse I won’t waste my breath and right it off as a bad experience. I hope others read this and NEVER buy perfume from Chemist Warehouse
Useless Customer Service for Product Exchange
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI bought an EXPENSIVE perfume but when I opened the package the perfume has absolutely no smell. I brought it back to the store for exchange but was told that since I had opened the package, they could not exchange the product. How would you know that the perfume was 'off' if you don't open the package to use it? That's 90 dollars now in the bin!
No staff available to serve!
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI went instore to purchase zyrtec today. No staff approached to ask if I needed help to find what I was searching for. The aisles were narrow and blocked with staff putting product on shelves. Once I had found what we wanted I went to the counter to pay. There was one person serving and once they served the person in front of me they disappeared.
Nobody else came to serve and the line behind me grew to 10 people long. Finally somebody came but instead of speaking to me they called for assistance and completely ignored the line of customers. Th
Lovely, helpful staff
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI quite often pop into my local chemist warehouse for general stuff or medicines where needed.
If I've had a question or been looking for a specific product the staff there go out of their way to help me find what Im looking for.
Really great, knowledgeable people.
ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreHave had several experiences at Barkly Square, Brunswick where I have been overcharged. Charged twice for items, charged for medication they didn't dispense to me. Trying to get reimbursement takes sometimes 10 minutes, very quick to take your money but a real process to get it back. Just be aware, always ask for receipt and check it.
Useless
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreCaloundra branch is easily the worst chemist ever.
Clueless staff, excessive waiting time, no matter the day or time, and usually something wrong or missing when you finally do get your script.
Excellent prices...good service
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreThe price is excellent. I had been buying my meds from my local Pharmacy. Until i popped into one of these stores and saved half the cost of my Diabetes meds etc. They even keep my script and call me when its available!!....not much personal service though...its a trade off
Great customer service- Nadine was amazing to deal with!
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreNadine at Tarneit Gardens store was very knowledgeable and provided great customer service and support
Customer service and urgency of prescription
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI went to store around 8:35 pm for prescription. They scanned it and suddenly another pharmacist came and he said he cannot dispense medicine as he is running late. It was for high blood pressure medicine and I had very high blood pressure that time . I needed that medicine in urgency. So, they did not care about it . I believe they do not care about customer and as they have monopoly .
CREED IS NOT AUTHENTIC
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreFlimsy packaging
Perfume does not last to long more like an air freshner
Refused to exchange a faulty product
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI bought a $8 umbrella from the Epping (NSW) store two weeks ago. After getting home and taking the umbrella out, I found a plastic piece was broken. At this point, I took a photo graph to prove that the product was alady damaged at the time of purchase. I went to the store when I was in the area next time and asked for an exchange. The store manager (name= Shesh) refused saying I had to come within seven days. When I pointed out that the seven day policy does not apply to faulty products, he said that I could have damaged the umbrella any time
... Read more during the past two weeks. Whe I tried to show him the photo, he said that dates of photos could be altered. By that he accused me of lying and fabricating evidence. Then he said they do not sell faulty products again accusing me of lying. Is this is what you think of your customers?Stretch foximull
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreWent to buy today has gone from 22 to 28 dollars in a matter of weeks got it elsewhere for 18dollars could be seen as a rip off
Be careful - overcharges for PBS medicine
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI was charged double what I would normally pay for a PBS statin. After I questioned the price they investigated. They acknowledged this and refunded the difference without saying why it happened (I suspect they didn’t deduct the Medicare rebate). But then it happened a second time. Beware….
Watered down fragrances
Chemist Warehouse Physical StorePurchased Aqua Di Gio Profumo today after reading many good reviews on the performance and strength. Weak straight out of the bottle, no projection and can’t even smell it 30min later unless someone virus their nose in my neck!!
Tried to leave a product review on the website but their is no available option to leave one!!
Will be retuning for a refund tomorrow.
Please don’t waste your money.
Rockdale store is dreadful
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreStaff are hopeless & rude. They hide from customers. Thought I would try calling them, don’t bother. Constantly rings out or on hold for ages.
Would not refund
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreChemist Warehouse Fortitude Valley - Bought glucose jellybeans & thought they had changed the packaging (bought 150gm packet & a 1kg packet). I opened the small packet (Gluco Beans) & tasted them & they were horrible. Went back the next day with receipt & to get a refund on the large packet which was not opened & was advised no refund. There should have been a sign advising they had changed jellybeans, or the regular ones were not available. The ones I normally get are Glucojel. I left the 1kg jellybeans with the male assist, I just through $10.99 out the window. I had spent $77.96 in store
Shocking service by a male employee!!
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI was at the checkout at the Elizabeth Chemist warehouse on Monday late afternoon and was looking at some perfumes, when the male employee shouted abuse at me. I found him very hostile, extremely arrogant and he lacked courtesy.I was intending to purchase some expensive perfume and other items but I walked away because he was not helpful but was very nasty. I will not go there again and I would not recommend people shopping there as the staff need to learn to respect customers at all times. He should be counselled on how to treat customers. Absolutely shocking and lacking customer service skills.
20 RESTAVIT 25MG TAB
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreChemist warehouse Fountain Gate - Brought over the counter sleep aid RESTAVIT 25MG to assist with my sleep at night had the recommended amount, wake up in the morning with block nose and sneeze out chunks of blood from nostrils. Do not recommend for consumption.
50 minutes for 5 scripts is unacceptable
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreWould like to give them no stars if I could, went to Chemist Warehouse at Airport West today for 5 scripts and waited 50 minutes and it was not busy, other customers also commented that service is always incredibly slow at this store, I will be shopping elsewhere in future
Passive Aggressive staff
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreWaited in line for a while, line winding through the store, only one assistant on check out. Finally another one got to checkout. Eventually got service . First question are you going to give money to charity, I said no thanks, then the attitude started, Do you want to buy a bag. I said no thanks, I have own . Mobile number for a receipt, I said I would like a printed one, I had that just chucked at me with a dirty look. There was not a thank you nothing. I give to charity when I can, I don't always have lots of money just enough to get by sometimes .To be guilted into by Chemist ware house staff is wrong and should be illegal . I don't want to give my phone number to them . This happen in the Launceston store 12 oct 2022
What service .,,,,,
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI'm not ever going into this store again !!! I checked what I wanted was in store as it's very difficult for me to get there. In stock. No .... it wasn't. Very helpful sent me to another store, rang to check they had the product. Asked for my name everything was great. Arrived at the store, absolute blanks everywhere, no product, no "putting it aside" as I was "promised" .... disgusting service for an 80 year old, heavens above if I needed any medicines !!!! You will not last in our community, its too small.
Don’t buy you perfumes here.
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreDon’t buy your perfumes here. Recently attempted to return Si Perfume as it was was ‘week as water’ have previously purchased from Myer, I new what to expect, after being shuffled to each ‘so called manager’ arguing excuses, instead of listening, was finally told they need approval from supplier to refund. Twas waste of money and 20minutes of my time. Stock is likely old so don’t bother as it does not last . Trying to get a refund is near impossible. One lost customer .
Pharmacy - Terrible, Store in general - Good
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreIf there was such thing as a black hole on earth - it is behind the pharmacy counter at this chemist. The staff seem to disappear, no one there to help, when there is help - it takes a lifetime to get it, there is always a significant wait time for the script. We understand that scripts take time; however, when you have a line of people waiting (or even just one person) waiting to put a script in/take out - please serve them! I am no longer going to come here despite it being the closest to home, it is frustrating and a genuine waste of time.
... Read moreThe store is just like any other Chemist Warehouse with a significant amount of options to chose from and bargains when things are on sale - this side of it is great but the pharmacy just really need some upskilling for the staff that run it or perhaps an extra person as it is always busy.Unsound advice, speaking loudly/breaching privacy about customers meds
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreSeveral times, I’ve been told by Chemist Warehouse’s staff not to take Ibuprofen (or other NSAIDs) with antacids for heartburn. But when I’ve asked, on several occasions if I take take PPI’s (Nexium, Guardium, etc…also for reflux/heartburn) the pharmacists (at different locations) have said, every time, they have no idea.
So if your pharmacists are qualified to give advice across all common medications, fine. But they’re obviously not and Chemist Warehouse thinks it’s fine to have their pharmacists and assistants to give pharmaceutical advice
... Read moreon medicines but have no knowledge or references to give customers advice on others. The truth is, if they don’t know, they need to look up drug interactions to give customers safe information. But they don’t care about our safety and don’t want their pharmacists taking a little more time to check their references and give customers the correct safety information as provided by the government and dozens of other extremely professional references. Knowing how to do this is part of any pharmacists training. But Chemist Warehouse puts profits customer safety, dealing with serious medications. They should be sued and shut down. Oh, and the complete lack of privacy in speaking loudly when handing over medication has to be breaking privacy laws as well. I’ll be getting legal advice on that.Dirty stores, hazards, dangerous, crowded
Chemist Warehouse Physical StoreI find the Sunnybank Chemist Warehouse store to be the dirtiest, hazard filled, unloved looking chemist” store I have ever visited. The staff are fine and the chemists are knowledgeable but I find the state of the stores to be so unclean and cringeworthy. There are boxes EVERYWHERE and trying to traverse the aisles with staff stocking shelves, other customers, boxes it is a true hazard and an accident waiting to happen.
