Mum, book me into code camp every school holiday!
These were the first words my son said to me when I picked him up the first day of code camp. He was so excited to show us what he'd learned each night and I've never seen him so engaged in learning. Can't recommend this enough, awesome!

Amazing
The best place for kids to be occupied. Just wish they had a regular coding program for kids during school term and not just during school holiday to keep the learning going.

Can't wait to go back!
My son loved Code Camp - it was his first time and he can't wait for the next holidays so he can go back. It was challenging but entertaining and he said it was the best vacation care he'd ever been to!

Awesome workshop for kids
My son was very thrilled with what he learnt during the 3 days of code camp, they learnt the skills of digital coding and created an electronic game with characters to play and coins to catch etc
he loved it and thought it was very different from anything he’s done before
I’m a parent who isn’t keen on my child spending too much time on screens but I also believe that being able to understand how electronic and digital world operate and what can be done with it is the future for our kids, this was a great introduction for him

Inspired my child to learn more
My son willingly attends several extra-curricular activities but is rarely keen to keep going. This was not the case with Code Camp. He loved it - was so animated each evening and wanted to log in an keep working on his app. He was so proud of his achievements! (As was i! :) )

All 3 kids thoroughly enjoyed the camp
Kids had lots of fun. They learnt about basic visual coding concepts and were proud to display the work at the end of the camp.
Nice how each of them were able to theme their work independently.

Code Camp was fantastic for my son!
My son loved Code Camp! I had guessed he would enjoy it but had no idea just how much. He learnt so many things and has talked about it non-stop, already planning his next course for the next school holidays! He commented to me about how helpful and friendly the teachers were, and when I was at the venue, I noticed they were very attentive with all the kids.

He came home smiling each day.
This is the second camp for my son. There’s was definite progression and more advanced coding than the first camp; so it’s great for repeat customers.
The boys came home chirpy everyday and couldn’t wait to show their progress.
The ability to view their work each day as a way to engage in their day is great. And the camp sends an email recap each afternoon which is highly valued.

Excellent introduction to coding for kids
My daughter thoroughly enjoyed Code Camp. She was inspired, engaged and excited to attend her sessions. She was up early and ready to go each day and loved showing her game to her siblings at the conclusion of the course. The teaching staff were lovely to deal with. I highly recommend Code Camp to parents of children who enjoy playing a range of computer games.

Our son love it. He could make few friends there too. Thank you.
Our son enjoyed the class so we are happy to send him there. He said some parts was easy and some were difficult, but after getting the instructions and help of the teacher he could finish his app.

My son enjoyed this camp immensely. When I asked him about his experiences he told me he had a great time and loved learning how to make games, something he wants to do when he gets older. Thanks again. Look forward to the next school holidays and attending the 3D camp.Very satisfied.

Our. Hold ten enjoyed the Code Canp very much
We were happy with the course which our 2 children took for 3 days. The children were asked to complete written feedback including about parent’s occupations which we felt was strange ... otherwise happy.

Great school holiday fun!
Very engaging learning that left both my children excited about the next day & not wanting the camp to end. The end product was a really great game - that they were so proud of creating on their own. We will definitely be enrolling next school holidays.

Perfect. Met my expectations and more!
Was worried about the course because of her anxieties in ASD/ADHD. She was excited every day, raved about the teachers making the instructions clear and wants to book another one.

Engaging and purposeful
Lots to learn and engaging. Great to have a purposeful school holiday activity. It can be hard for 9 year olds to concentrate for 3 days straight though! My son really loved it.

Questions & Answers
Alissaasked
Hi, I am considering enrolling my 5 1/2 into the coding course at Newcastle Grammar. He can be a little shy around kids he doesn’t know and quiet in big groups. I was just wondering if a course like this would be good for him and how many have booked for the 16 & 17 course and if there were any boys booked in?
Thanks

Hi Alissa, thanks so much for getting in touch. Our Little Heroes camp is designed to get kids working together in teams to solve fun coding problems. We often find that kids who are shy will walk away with new friends and a newfound love of coding :) Little Heroes tends to have a 50/50 male/female ratio so that won't be an issue either. Thanks, Josh
Ok great it sounds like a lot of fun. Do you have many spots left for the 16 & 17?
Joshua Y.Code Camp
Hi Alissa, we still have good availability for those dates in Newcastle. We expect this will sell out nearer the time though :)

Our girl is 5 1/2, she is a little shy and need some time to adjust to strangers, especially with boys. We would really love to send her to your January Glen Waverley VIC program. Are there any similar aged girls enrolled in the program? Many thanks

Hi there! Thank you for getting in touch. Our Wesley Glen Waverley location is always a popular choice. It looks as though there is a good mix of boys and girls currently enrolled in Spark next week :)
Thanks again,
Josh

Hello
How many hours per day is the Spark camp and at what times?
Sallie

It was drop off between 8.30-9 and pick up between 3-4
I think it is 2 days and generally goes from 9am to 3.30pm. That is the case for Burgmann code camps

Hi Sallie!
Thanks for reaching out. Our camps run from 9am (with drop-off from 8.30) to 3.30pm (with pick-up until 4pm).
Kids also get 30 minutes recess in the morning and an hour for lunch where they can play outside and grab something to eat.
Thanks,
Josh
