The kids appear to have had a lot o fun while learning coding .
I didn't think it was over difficult but it certainly was challenging enough for the kids to grasp which was adequate.Jasper was very excited about returning daily to get to work coding he is looking forward to the next level when it comes.

Out out of Towner
Our 8yr old son lives in NSW and is staying with his grandparents in QLD during school holidays so we enrolled our lil out of Towner into QLD code camp and he was delighted to learn, have fun and make new friends at Code Camp. Thanks to the fabulous Code Camp staff his first code experience was professional, positive and made him feel very welcome in a new environment. We will definitely enrol again.

Fantastic Opportunity for kids
Our son has attended Code Camp 2 years in a row & he absolutely loves it. The communication in the lead up to camp is informative & the daily updates are fantastic. My son has created 2 games now, which we’re all very proud of. We are excited for what our son will do with the skills he’s learning at these camps in the years ahead, it’s such an amazing opportunity for kids. We will definitely be back again in 2021.

Fun for kids!
My son enjoyed his first Code Camp. He loved the game he designed, especially because his Mum has never done anything like that before! I’m sure he will be doing the next level Camp soon.

My son really enjoyed this camp
My son had a great time at code camp this summer. This was his first code camp experience.
The camp was run very efficiently, with an excellent drop off and pick up system. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable and my son came back with basic understanding of how to code. He was really proud of his end result as he had created his own game.
All in all, a very good and educational experience.

Fantastic camp, one of my son’s best ever
Everything about this camp was professional and fantastic. Can’t recommend highly enough. Lots of small touches such as daily updates, photos, free code camp gear all made a positive impression and the feedback from my son (7.5) and excitement at his ap means he can’t wait to go back again!

My son loves it!
My son enjoyed the two day Code Camp at Clayfield College earlier this week. He has been on the PC ever since continuing to build his game. The teachers there said he showed politeness towards staff and was willing to help other kids with their app. One good thing I like about this is the fact he can be dropped off, be independent and the ability to network with others. This sort of experience is what is required in adulthood and mind you he is only 7 years old. I will definitely register my son again for the next Code Camp next year!

Fantastic School Holiday Camp
My 7 yr old is very shy and typically does not enjoy attending school holiday programmes of any sort. I was hesitant to send him however reassured by the fact that if he did not enjoy his first day I would be offered a refund and need not send him for the remaining two days. Much to my surprise, my son absolutely loved his time at Code Camp. On the second day he was awake and dressed at 5:30 am ready to leave for camp. He was incredibly proud of his achievements and the game he created and can't wait to attend again. I felt the Camp was very ...Read more
well organised and run; great communication prior and during camp from organisers and kids were well supervised during the day. My son thought his teacher was amazing too. He has asked if he can attend again as soon as possible, which makes it a resounding success for us.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

My daughter absolutely loved Code Camp!
Before she attended to Code Camp, she was very nerves to go as she was worried about her skill as well as there may not be any friends to attend. However, after she finished her first day, she told me that she really enjoyed it and she couldn't wait to attend next day.
Now she enjoys playing her game that she made.
She is looking forward to next code camp!

Great holiday program.
My daughter has now participated in the first 2 camps and has thoroughly enjoyed both. She loved learning new coding skills at camp that resulted in a game. It is a bonus that she can still play her game and show it to others once she gets home.

Excellent Program, my kids loved it!
This course was great, both my children loved it and learnt a lot. The teachers were very qualified and professional. It was a challenging course though positive environment to give it a go. My kids are 6 & 8. They did little heroes and Sparks.
They will definitely be doing the next course during the next school holidays.
I think you should make pink shirts and hats for the girls!

My kids loved it
Two of my children did a 3 day Code Camp during the holidays. The staff at Code Camp bent over backwards to fix problems my kids had on the first day and consequently they loved it and can't wait to go back. My children didn't know any one else and the staff really made an effort to make them feel included and to help them get things done. I highly recommend Code Camp!

Questions & Answers
Alissaasked
Hi, I am considering enrolling my 5 1/2 into the coding course at Newcastle Grammar. He can be a little shy around kids he doesn’t know and quiet in big groups. I was just wondering if a course like this would be good for him and how many have booked for the 16 & 17 course and if there were any boys booked in?
Thanks

Hi Alissa, thanks so much for getting in touch. Our Little Heroes camp is designed to get kids working together in teams to solve fun coding problems. We often find that kids who are shy will walk away with new friends and a newfound love of coding :) Little Heroes tends to have a 50/50 male/female ratio so that won't be an issue either. Thanks, Josh
Ok great it sounds like a lot of fun. Do you have many spots left for the 16 & 17?
Joshua Y.Code Camp
Hi Alissa, we still have good availability for those dates in Newcastle. We expect this will sell out nearer the time though :)

Our girl is 5 1/2, she is a little shy and need some time to adjust to strangers, especially with boys. We would really love to send her to your January Glen Waverley VIC program. Are there any similar aged girls enrolled in the program? Many thanks

Hi there! Thank you for getting in touch. Our Wesley Glen Waverley location is always a popular choice. It looks as though there is a good mix of boys and girls currently enrolled in Spark next week :)
Thanks again,

Hello
How many hours per day is the Spark camp and at what times?
Sallie

It was drop off between 8.30-9 and pick up between 3-4
I think it is 2 days and generally goes from 9am to 3.30pm. That is the case for Burgmann code camps

Hi Sallie!
Thanks for reaching out. Our camps run from 9am (with drop-off from 8.30) to 3.30pm (with pick-up until 4pm).
Kids also get 30 minutes recess in the morning and an hour for lunch where they can play outside and grab something to eat.
Thanks,
Josh
