Came out promptly to assess aged pensioner's Aquamax gas storage Hot Water System. Pilot light could not be re-lit after a 43 degree day. The system will need to be replaced soon asit was explained that the old storage tank (not stainless steel) had developed hairline cracks over time. These expand in very hot weather and drip water onto the pilot light which then has to dry out before being re-lit. Deven got it up and running and showed us how to relight the pilot as a temporary fix. We look forward to dealing with Craig's Gas and Plumbing for installation of the replacement HWS before winter.
