Joe was great in retrieving my stud earrings from the kitchen sink today. He called to let me know when he is coming, then came on time. Then he very quickly got the earring out from the trap and fished the earring out for me. I was very relieved. Thanks Joe for saving the earring and my weekend.

Called them one day to fix the leaking tap of the back of my rental property and it was fixed promptly. Took off the old rusty tap and put on a new one

Tyson was efficient and quick and explained the remedial work required. We requested work on a Sunday after hours and the company was quick with a reasonable callout fee. Very happy with the work and would recommend Tyson anytime.

Well I feel gutted for being ripped off . Already had a price from another plumber, and this guy just gives me a quote for 5 times that price. Cost $132 just to hear that. That speaks for itself, cheers .

Just bought this house. New heating and cooling gives us peace of mind. Metropolitan were fantastic. They removed, installed and cleaned up all in one day. I certainly would recommend them.

I have call Metropolitan for to check the water leaking from my Airconditioner. They have asked me to pay the diagnose fee $141 before coming to inspect. Once the guy arrive he did not do any service and too lazy, left without doing anything. The water still leaking its utter waste of money paying these guys. Total rip off!!!!

Had a problem with my solar hot water system and got very prompt service, but unfortunately paid $550 to be told that I needed a new system. Afterwards it transpired that only the 2 solar panels needed replacing and got quote of $8.6k to replace these. Pricing seems excessively high.

Prompt with call out, fixed price even for weekend however that’s where the positives end, advised of incorrect fault with air conditioner & told had to be replaced, given ridiculously expensive quote of $4490 for this - 2.5kw unit. Engaged alternative company who advised of different problem & air conditioner repaired for $375, now working perfectly. I have just read a similar review from someone else - I too would have liked to give negative stars. Legitimate question - are the technicians even qualified?

$132...call out fee, paid for before job was booked....quoted $1190 for job...objected to price...they reduced it to $780....completed job with minimal materials or effort within 25 minutes..I am not happy.....RIPPED OFF

Rang back moments after email was sent, appointment was set even faster and at a time that was convenient for me. Arrived in perfect time; Tyson was the best. He sorted everything quickly and broke down all issues into understandable terms, 100% recommended and will be calling again in the future.

A pipe burst in my kitchen wall. Ryan from Metropolitan came promptly, noted that the water pressure was too high (after recent watermain works), fitted a flow restricter & fixed the pipes really quickly. Then Shane fixed the brick wall and painted it so it looked good as new. He even went the extra mile painting another section of wall (from a renovation I'd had done 10 years ago) so the house looks better than before!

To replace this $72 part, cost $739 + 132 callout diagnostic fee. The serviceman was professional and was onsite for less than 1 hour. Exorbitant pricing metropolitan plumbing. Feel ripped off!

It's a pity I can't give this company negative stars. My 85 year old father called them to have a look at his air conditioner as it was blowing warm air. He was told that the compressor had failed and the unit had lost its gas. He was then quoted $8000 for a split system (7 times more expensive than the average) and $20,000 for a new ducted unit (2 times more expensive than average system). I dropped past to see the quote and had a look at the control panel. I simply put it on cool mode and the unit started cooling the house. Strangely enough, it's working beautifully on a 42 degree day. I would never recommend Metropolitan Plumbing for any services. You lied to an elderly couple. Disgraceful

Our Hot Water Service stopped working on Xmas Eve. Metropolitan sent a plumber on Xmas Day. Ronnie, provided us with a quick assessment and options for repair or replacement. His good explanations made it easy for me to make an informed decision. The repairs were done in the spot allowing us to enjoy Xmas Day. Thanks Ronnie!
