Nice to find a reliable kettle
This kettle is great. We have had it for quite a while. It is used constantly. You can change the temperature that the kettle heats the water to and there is an additional option to set the kettle to keep the water at that temp by reboiling until you need it. These are really handy features and are easily changed or turned off just by pushing a button.
We are very pleased with it.

Will not buy again
Dissapointed as the red paint peeled off the kettle it is now silver and red I wouldn't reccomend the red or other painted kettle to any one
I do not use other settings any way I just use 100.I wanted a permanent RED Kettle not a multi stripe one,I will just buy a cheap red one like my son brought before I brought mine and his has not peeled.

Looks Good, works Great
I never thought that I would use the assorted temperature buttons but now I do on a daily basis. Herbal tea at 85C never needs cold water adding to be able to drink it. Coffee at 95C is no longer too hot to be able to drink it. Black tea at 100C is perfectly brewed. Along with the matching Red toaster purchased together at a discount, they even look good on the bench. Only single drawback is to remember to turn the automatic reheat button off once I am finished (otherwise it just keeps reheating which MIGHT damage it if the water was low - but...Read more
they have probably catered for that anyway). UPDATE: Still working great after 14 Months of daily use. My only issue is with the design of the spout. If the water level is low, it pours out as a sheet of water rather than a stream, thus making a small mess. (Of course, keeping the water level high removes that problem.)Similar opinion? Simply the Best Kettle
After reading so many positive reviews of this kettle and the few negative, we decided to buy one to replace our second leaky piece of crap Russel Hobbs (I have so given up on that brand).
Having had it for about 3 months now.
All I have to add is that 'everything you read positive about this kettle is true'.
Is is simply the best kettle ever owned and I've owned a lot of them of the last 35 years.
For us the daily, multiple used (8-12 boils per day) this is the perfect kettle that does the job every time without fail. Lets us know i...Read more
t has boiled with a pleasant to ear beep. Is smart enough to realise we will turn it on before noticing it needs water and actually remember after we then fill it to boil. I wish all kettles of the past owned would or could have been as good as this one is.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

An excellent kettle - at last!
So having had both a Sunbeam and Breville multi-temperature $100+ kettle fail on me over the last three years, this is a case of third time lucky. This feels like a well made product and looks really good too.
When empty, it's actually quite light. The controls are built into the handle rather than the base unit which might make the handle a little bulky for small hands but makes it easy to see and select the required heating temperature.
The default setting, when you hit "start", seems to be 75 degrees with "keep warm" selected. However...Read more
, it subsequently remembers the last setting you used. Being English, I was always trained to heat the pot/cup before the water boiled so I like the fact that this kettle allows you to remove it from the base and then continues on with its programme when you set it back on the base so you don't need to re-hit start. On the 100 degree setting, it actually boils the water for a good few seconds meaning the water is still boiling when you pour it on the tea - imperative for maximizing the oxygen reaching the leaves and essential for the perfect cuppa! The Sunbeam I had previously barely boiled the water so this is a vast improvement. The water gauge is also easy to see so you can easily ensure you do your bit for the environment and only boil exactly the amount of water you need. The blue light also looks pretty cool.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Faulty x 2
I originally gave this kettle a good 4 star review. Sad to say that 18 months and two kettles later we've given up on it. About 13 months in the original stopped boiling. In fairness to the manufacturer there is a good 3 yr warranty. We returned it to Myers and got a replacement - no questions asked. Five months later same thing happened. This time we were offered a different brand. As they had no silver in stock I chose a Breville.

Cuisinart water kettle
We have been using this kettle for a couple of months and we are quite happy with it so far. We were looking for a replacement for a failed kettle. Our criteria was primarily that it was quiet but there are few that make this claim. We didn't choose this one due to cost as it is near the top end of the scale but because it was a high wattage if needed but programmable to heat to lower temperatures so that it was ultimately more efficient than cheaper models. It was a secondary consideration that it was available in a brushed red finish to match...Read more
a Cuisinart food processor that we'd purchased previously. What made up our minds to buy what that it was free of the plastic components that recently came to light as having potention to be carcinigenic. That it turned out to be very quiet in use was a pleasant surprise. It is efficient and quiet. Nothing so far.3 comments
We have continued to use this kettle on a daily basis since August 2014, it continues to work quietly and reliably and still looks as new. Happy!
We have now had this kettle for 3-1/2 years for thousands of heating cycles. The finish is starting to look a little dull but still nice overall. The electronics have begun to occasionally reset thems... Read more
elves to the lowest temperature setting, simultaneously enabling the warming feature. The temp reset is merely annoying but should we not be paying attention, the warming feature potentially may cause it to boil itself dry and ruin the kettle. Still, it continues to work quietly and reliably.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

best electric kettle I've owned!
After buying a really cheap — and nasty— electric kettle from Target that lasted all of 3 weeks, I looked around for one with features such as variable temperature control, quiet and fast, beep or other signal when it had boiled, light, well balanced and stylish. The red Cuisinart kettle I bought ticks all those boxes! I can set the temp to 80 for coffee or green tea, hotter for Oolong tea and 100 for whatever. It looks wonderful and is worth every cent — around $117 at online stores, $135 most retail outlets.
Reliable, variable temp, quiet, fast and so stylish

The kettle continues to perform well several times a day. It's rich appearance is untarnished. Being able to adjust the temperature and to have it automatically maintain that temperature has come in handy several times.
