The best is to get one of the aircon companies to provide a quote and advice on the unit required for a particular area. We had all our Daikin units professionally installed.

What power supply is needed for the Daikin 2.5Kw to run on? 15 Amp or 10 Amp?

I think your best bet is to contact Daikin directly, and quote the exact model number as new ones come and go through their product lifespan on store shelves and so forth. The power box on the premises that you're intending to install it, should have some written information on the box. I would assume that newer homes would have greater amperage over older ones. For a commercial site, it'll be at least 15 amp or more.

The only other option is to ask a qualified and licensed electrician to determine the site's power availability?

The air conditioner itself probably consumes less than 10 Amps but it would need to be installed by an electrician on its own circuit and breaker. If you already have many other electric circuits for power, lights, hot water, stoves, other A/C units etc, you would need to ensure your supply has the capacity and space on your switchboard to install a new circuit for the air conditioner.
