I clean it and still nothing, I am desperate cuz I buy it last week and just managed to use one time yesterday and today I couldn’t use milk commands anymore.
Want I need to do ?

hi today i turned on my machine and is asked me to empty the grounds container. i did and now it still asking me to empty the container. The digital screen is stuck on this message and cannot press any other button. I have turned the machine on and off at the wall switch and on/off button. Any ideas on how to fix.

Hi Michelle, it sounds like there could be a coffee particle on the sensor. Take the ground container out and clean inside the machine. Also take the brewing unit out and clean this as well as the surrounding areas within the machine.

My machine is about 4 years old and now when I press on the Milk button, the machine reads Milk preperation on its way but no milk comes out. There is no noise at all. When I press cappuccino or flat white - not working at all. I can only do short coffees. Can you help.? Tanya

Loving my new coffee machine but my water spout keeps popping off when steaming my coffee. Not sure what's going wrong?

If it is popping off, it may not be all the way on. They can be a bit firm to put on at times so the o rings may need some grease to help it slide on nicely. Get a small bit of cooking oil and apply to the o rings and try again. It may help.

Hi Nicole,
The water spout has a button on the top that you need to press when taking off, if the spout has been removed without pressing this button it can shift and break a small part that will not hold when steaming, try holding the steam wand in place while steaming so as to keep the connection.

Thanks team :) This has happened since we first got the machine. Holding it works but is difficult when you're also holding the mug and need to turn off the steam when the coffee reaches desired temperature (need a third hand). Are there replacement parts?

Hi Delonghi. Mum has an Eletta Cappuccino Top and any water cycles run for quite a while i.e. turning on the machine, it used to be about a 5 second rinse cycle but now it runs for closer to 30 seconds filling up the plastic jug that came with the machine. The short coffee pour also fills a coffee cup to the top. Is there a hard reset process for this machine or is the default values option through the menu the only option? Have you heard of this issue before? I've descaled a number of times and it makes no difference.

I have done Default Values a number of times but it makes no difference.
I did some proper tests and found the following:
Turning on the machine, rinsing runs for 1m55s and 400ml of water is dispensed into the cup/container.
With default values done, standard 1 cup button - it runs for considerable time and fills up 700ml of water.
Short 1 cup - again runs for a while and does a bit over 300ml.
Again, is there a hard reset process or is default values the only option?

My machine use to prompt me to clean every time after using it, it is my first time yo clean the entire milk carafe system, I notice its not prompting to clean now and some foam are present in the fresh milk carafe after doing a cappuccino appreciate your help !

Hi Ivan, how old is your machine?
The clean prompt may have been missed if another prompt came up, example like fill water tank ect.
But even if the prompt does not come up, you will need to clean the milk carafe.

Regularly used and descaled with no problems until yesterday. Now getting a loud buzzing during milk prep and similar when dispensing hot water. Actual coffee production seems fine. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated?

My delonghi elleta top steam stops after steaming approximately 1 minute 30 seconds or so. Why is it and what can i do so that it steams longer before it stops automatically?

Hi Moeen, the steam does stop automatically and you cannot extend this unless you do another steam cycle.
How much milk are you frothing? When frothing your milk, make sure the steam wand in about 1 inch within the milk and in the center of the jug. This will heat the milk up the quickest.

Hi, i am having the same problem. I tried holding the steam button down so as to lengthen the time of the steam (same as you do to change amount of coffee into cup) but now the steam won’t stay on for any longer than 5 seconds……frustrating. How do i get it to go back to the normal 3 minutes? Thanks. Cheers Sue

Hello I have recently purchased an Eletta and loving it. However, when I select a flat white the milk frothier produces too much milk and when the coffee is added it overflows. I am using a standard sized coffee mug and cold skimmed milk and the froth dial is set to flat white.Any suggestions?

Machine is about 1 year old . De scaling program never seems to work properly. After the main descaling run message “rinsing -fill tank” is displayed . No matter how many rinses I never see the message “rinsing complete” If I then switch it off and then back on it is back to demanding a de scale ! Help?

Hi Juanita, if the machine is asking you to descale after you have descale then it would mean the machine wasn't able to finished. How long is your descale? Also if the machine is telling you "rinsing - fill tank" then continue to fill the water tank and let it complete its rinses. A how-to video is attached for you.

I have a DeLonghi eletta cappuccino top and after it has been on for awhile it gets extremely hot on the top and down the left side, so hot you burn your hand if you touch the cup warmer, side or around the frame. I have not noticed this before. Is it normal and if not what should I do?

Hi Liz, you will be able to turn off the cup warmer within the settings of this machine and that should decrease the temperature at the top of the machine :)

Hi, is it possible to use different beans without emptying the bean compartment? I.e if two people want to use the machine, one using decaf beans the other caffeinated. I have the Eletta Cappuccino. Thanks

Hi Dawn, you can do this but one would have to be already ground coffee to be then placed in the pre-ground shute. But there isn't a way to use 2 different beans on this machine. We have attached a how-to video on using pre-ground coffee.

when putting the machine to descale, after 30 minutes and the water is almost finished, the machine flags add descaler and wants to start all over again and I never reach to the rinsing part. Any ideas?

Problem was solved after changing the water tank, since the sensor inside the old water tank was malfunctioned.

Hello,
When trying to make a cappuccino the display message is “turn froth adjustment dial”, even after adjustment dial has been turned and each milk froth setting was tried. Tried emptying container and refilling to different amounts, cleaning it, unplugging/plugging back in. No success... any recommendations would be appreciated. This machine is new and this is the first time trying the cappuccino option.
