    Part of the family

    published

Had this for at least 6 years now. What can I say... It's totally ruined me for all the terrible coffee that costs a zillion dollars a cup. If I could sit it next to my bed I would. I'm happy to spend $2400 on a machine like this. Gold. Pure gold.

I've paid less for cars. But, this old boy is worth it. Do yourself a favour, if you can afford it buy one. You'll save $5.00 every morning for the burnt bitter crap they serve in coffee shops. When it dies, I'm buying another with more buttons & lights.

The silver tray has scratched easily though where the cups sit. That's about all the negs. Oh... It's kind of loud.

Had it for years, still love it!

I've had this for years now, and its still going strong. The milk jug broke, last year, but I ordered another one from the Delonghi website, arrived no problem. It is a little noisy, but I'm used to it. Makes better coffee than the coffee shop where I work! I think this model is superseded now overseas, but I saw it still for sale in DJ's last week.

    Some problems with it

    published

Had the machine for more than two years now.I have to grease the infuser all the time, I buy the grease from Bravo in Sydney, if I don't do it about every couple of days it gets stuck and delivers dirty water, no coffee, I have to clean it every couple of days, remove the coffee grounds that get everywhere inside the machine when the infuser does not work properly.I am not happy, out of warranty and out of commission now.
When it works the coffee is beautiful

I have had my machine for 4 months and absolutely love it - really simple to use and does everything you need in a coffee machine! It can use whole beans or ground beans one touch buttons for pretty much everything a real breeze to use. Would highly recommend this machine to people.

Little loud but I think that is normal for a machine like this

This is the first coffee machine I have ever used and so far it is wonderful. It is easy to use, easy to clean and makes a delicious coffee with so little effort. It also looks lovely as I have an all white kitchen and it blends beautifully with the decor.
Easy to use, easy to clean, great looking machine.
Noisier than I expected, but this is the first machine I have ever used so I have nothing to compare it to.

I have found this machine fantastic and used it extensively However when I pressed the steam buttons (left and right) the buttons pushed in and would not release. Anyone had this problem?

Might be worn or debris between the button.

To get to removing the display / buttons, remove the screws behind the unit first then the side panels slide off.
Then you have access to the control panel button screws, remove those and then you can take the display with the
buttons off to clean or replace. (Ribbon cable from the Display can be unplugged carefully)

Easy to order new buttons off ebay.com. appox 15bucks for a whole new set of buttons.
(I replaced all of mine since were worn.)

How do you get the infuser out if it is jammed in. Pressing the red buttons does not release it. It appears to be held in at the bottom

Is your machine off? Machine must be off to do it :)

Yes power is off. Left red button seems to release but not the right one

You must turn the machine off from the power button on the machine's control panel. It will run through the shut down cycle then turn itself off. Then turn off the power switch on the back of the machine, and also at the mains if you wish. This will reset the machine and position the infuser in the correct position for removal.

I've just had this coffee machine delivered and I note the manual references a water tester to test the hardness of the water which was not included. Could other owners please let me know if it was in the box? Also should a milk jug come with it also? Thanks!!

    Hi Odette
Yes water tester should be in the box. Just a small strip of paper that gets dipped in the water. Milk jug is also included as it is built to insert in place of water spout.
